A new month brings a new challenge at Christmas Cards all year Round. This months challenge is to include either an image of santa or the word santa somewhere on your card. I have a few examples to show you. As I wrote this post out I realized I used a lot of older supplies. I must be getting ready for the holidays.
*Speaking of holidays, head over to the Imaginisce blog for some fabulous holiday giveaways. Wednesday was the 1st of December so the monthly sketch is up and you need to go blog hopping for your chance at a wonderful prize from Imaginisce. Winner will be announced December 6th so don't delay. Plus they are having something special going on with lots of special giveaways coming up. HEREs the link again for Imaginisce blog. Check back here tomorrow to see some Imaginisce projects that didn't make my cut for their DT call. I've got a handful of fun stuff to show.
**Another side note-Did you hear that Cards for Kids Round 4 has been extended to December 30th. You can send holiday cards in until the 16th of December. Get your cards in today. Warm a child's heart with a special card made just for them by you.
Now on with the cards.
Supplies: card base and white cardstock (well it use to be white) by The Paper Co; gold and green cardstock along with the burgundy patterned paper and santa sticker are by Creative Memories; Burgundy cardstock unknown; flowers and leaf by Prima; brads old school that my MIL found in her desk; ink by Versamark, Stampin Up (I used a combination of Eggplant Envy/Burgundy/Real red to get the color to match the patterned paper) and Ranger; embossing powder by Stampendous; and spritz of Perfect Pearls by Ranger to glam up the sentiment.
I just love this card. Supplies: Santa paper by DCWV; red cs by Stampin Up; white cs by The Paper Co; Patterned paper by Provo Craft Slab from 2004! (Holy cow! That's old!) fiber is unknown; embossing folder by Provo Craft; stamp by Elle's Studio; inks by Stampin Up and Ranger.
It is hard to see in the picture but the cream colored paper (that I don't know who makes it) has musical notes on it. It again is an oldie from my stash. It's original size was a 8 1/2 x 11. Haven't done that size in a while. Supplies: Sticker is unknown; hemp by Crafters Square; red paper by MME; silver paper by CM; border punch by SU; diecut by PC and ink by Ranger.
This paper is a little bit newer. Supplies: PP on the right is by Cosmo Cricket and on the left and in the middle is by Making Memories; sticker is unknown; diecut by PC; stamps by Fawn Lawn (love these letter stamps - they are the best), ink by Ranger and Close to my Heart, card base by Halcraft.
I sent this one in for Cards for Kids.
This last one I didn't turn in for DT but I did send it out for Cards for Kids. Supplies: PP by CM; embossing folder by PC; white cs by The Paper Co; card base by Halcraft.
So that's all for today. Come back tomorrow for some Imaginisce projects that I did.
I sent in my application for their DT and I thought it would be fun to show you what didn't make my cut. (or I didn't think it was 75% of their product.) Either way I made a bunch of stuff and would love to show you their great products at work.
PS. Check out the Imaginisce Blog for the Dec 1st blog hop and sketch for your chance to win a wonderful prize. They are also doing some major prize giveaways due to the holidays so check them out for your chance to win.
Thanks:)
These look great!
