Below the card is a picture tutorial on how I achieved the look of the lighthouse.
Other Supplies used in this card:
Patterned paper by MME and DCWV
cardstock by Recollections
Border die and scallop oval by Spellbinders
helm die cut by Cricut Life is a Beach
Braiding cord by Allary (bought at Wal-Mart)
Sentiment stamp by Stamp N plus Scrap N
Ink by Memento
I thought I would show you how I made this background.
I used glue with my chalk this time.
I painted the blue chalk on top of the sheet of watercolor paper.
Then painted a little bit of green on the bottom.
I stamped my image using Memento black ink. Let both your glue/chalk mixture dry before stamping the image.
Got out my Spellbinders scallop oval die and lined it up to the image.
Ran it through my Cuttlebug once to cut and a second time to emboss it.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
That is a great image and it works so nicely with chalk!! Great looking card!

I love this. I learn something new everyday. Did you use the glue from LuAnn? I will have to send you an email....the consistency of your mixture look very smooth. I need some tips.
