I'm always trying to figure out new ways to add ribbon to my projects without the adhesive showing through. I used Mod podge on this card to adhere my ribbon. I always start making a card by cutting a card front. Even if it's the same color as the card. The card front is what I work from and then adhere it to the card base once I am finished. This way nothing shows on the inside of the card like brads, eyelets, ribbon, sewing, etc. For this card I wrapped the lace around the card front using Mod Podge on both sides to make the lace stay put. The best part about it is it worked. I loved the way it turned out and would def do it again.
Stamp is in a set called Note-ables. It's a great mix of sentiments for all types of cards. I used patterned paper by DCWV, Spellbinders die cuts and Ranger Distressing inks.
Thanks for looking.
