Weren't those fabulous? I pinned them and have them here for future reference. I'm so impressed with the talent out there in blog land. Aren't you?
My Manly Monday project is an ATC, which I sort of look at as what could be an embellishment for a scrapbook page, that is if someone doesn't want to trade me for it. I had a horrible packing adventure over Labor Day-See HERE for the story- and this is last ATC to came out of that weekend.
I started with a Tim Holtz/Ranger ATC and used a brayer (sp?) for what it was intended. All this time I thought it was for my Cricut mats-best darn mini rolling pin I've ever had-makes the paper stick to a not so sticky mat.
Anyway, I went over the ATC with Stormy Sky and Broken China then stamped the background stamp using black ink. Let dry because I forgot my heat gun then brushed the edges with a blender that already had blue distress ink on it. Then I stamped the wheel one to white cardstock, fussy cut it out and inked its edges with the blue and then grey blender. I die cut the wing out of black cardstock, inked the edges of the SEI ticket stubs and applied a rub-on to the blue ticket. From there I just assembled it to look as is.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you will come again next Monday-well you can come see what I make this week too. I post like everyday, no really every single day I have something to share.
Best wishes

What a great manly ATC - love the details. Thanks for highlighting my card this week - hope you have fabulous one :-)
ReplyDeleteI've never made an ATC before. I struggle a bit with making tags because of the limited amount of space, so I haven't dared trying for ATCs yet for that same reason. Your ATC has a great male feel. The wheel with wing is such a fun detail! Did you know that the ticket has writing in Norwegian - it could also be Danish - they're very similar when it comes to writing:)
ReplyDeleteCindy, thanks for introducing me to your Manly Monday posts. Your card today looks like one I should give my hubby who loves road trips! I'm always needing masculine cards, so more ideas is great! You visited my post today and asked if you can use my lighthouse card. You can link to mine any time. My blogger set-up didn't let me reply, so here's the link:
