Aunt Gail's Wedding 4x4 pocket page card at Chalk Ah Lot

There's a new challenge over at Chalk-Ah-Lot where we play with chalk. The theme is Love and I made a 4x4 pocket card for my MIL's picture book we are working on. We are using We R Memory Keepers photo sleeves for her 1970's square pictures.

The white and purple heart cardstock papers are by Recollections. The stamped heart is by Stamp N Plus. I used Versa Color pigment inks that are an inch squared and easy to make stamps in different colors. After I stamped I didn't want to wait for it to dry so I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder also by Stamp N Plus. I fussy cut the heart out and felt it needed something more on the white background. I fussy cut out a layer of purple to help the stamped image stand out more. My new reception sticker is by Me and My Big Ideas.

So where's my chalk? I used chalk on the border. I was coloring in another image using Beauty powdered chalk mixed with paint both by Stamp N Plus and had some left over. Using a wide paint brush I completely covered the border cardstock (CS-Bazzill and Border-EK Success) with the chalked mixture.
