Manly Monday Make a Wish

Hi all. Welcome back to Manly Monday. Sorry about last week. I've switched computers and wasn't able to work my Manly Monday magic like I did on my last machine. But I'm here today with some great new cards and excited ladies to have you take a look at them. Click on the name of the blog to be directed to their post. 
Here's my card
For my Manly card today I made a 5 1/4 square card, which is something I don't normally do. I used old patterned paper by Provo Craft for the background. I stamped the compass stamp by Tim Holtz with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with a gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I colored in the image with distress markers and a water pen. After it dried I die cut it out with a Quickutz die and inked the inside with distress ink while the paper was still in the die. I adhered it to a Little Yellow Bicycle cork tag. The feathers in the card are wood veneers by Maya Road and the jute string is by Tim Holtz/Ranger.
