Deep Red Stamps BFF

Last week I showed this new Deep Red Stamp with a shabby chic style. I wanted to make this stamp stand out with vibrant bright colors.

You can find the Best Friend stamp at A Cherry on Top and at Scrapbook.com. For my card I heat embossed the sentiment with Stamin Up white pigment ink and StampN Plus pink embossing powder onto white cardstock. I cut the sentiment down as much as I could and left the edges clean. There is no use of distress ink on my card. Jump back! The moons must have been out of alignment or something for that to happen. Hee hee.

The Bazzill orange cardstock is dry embossed with a Gina Marie embossing folders. Gina is a friend of mine and sells her embossing folders at her store in Grand Rapids well as online at Scrapbook pal. com. The patterned paper is by Sassafras, unfortunately not longer in print as their blog says they sold out in 2011. Flower by Making Memories and rhinestones from a dollar store.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend.I'm out scrapping with some friends.

Deep Red Stamps Easel Latte

I have a quick ease card to share this morning. The Flourish Latte stamp is by Deep Red Stamps and

can be found at A Cherry on Top and Scrapbook.com. The shape of my card is a Spellbinders die, the harlequin background is a Cricut die cut as well as the leaf die cut on the left. The flowers are by Prima and I've wrapped the bottom of them with Michaels ribbon. I stamped the Flourish Latte in Hero Arts black ink on to Bazzill cardstock.

Thanks for looking.

Fabulous Duo by myStamp Box

I have a 2 new cards today using letter stamps from myStamp Box.

I used the Mini Alpha-Small Box set to make my sentiment.

The base of the card is by K and Co which is fun to have something other than white to look at when you open the card. The green patterned paper is by Making Memories and I have dry embossed it with a Gina Marie embossing folder. {She is a friend of mine with her own store in Grand Rapids, MI and has started her own line of embossing folders. You will see many more of her folders in my future cards.}HERE is a link to Scrapbook Pal  with all her embossing folders and HERE'S Fern Leaf the one I used on this card. After I embossed the green paper I inked the edges with an ink blender and distress ink both by Ranger Industries. Then I sprayed the entire piece of green paper with water mixed with Perfect Pearls to give it that extra sparkle that you know I love. The coral polka dot patterned paper is by Papertrey Ink and the butterfly sticker embellishment is by Me and My Big Ideas.

For my second card it's the same supplies except I didn't dry emboss or ink the green like the card above. I did add a die cut from my Cricut's Art Philosophy cartridge {size 4 inches} behind the butterfly. I love how it turned out! The die cut really makes this card stand out. I hope you will agree.

The picture with both of them together shows what you can do at the same sitting with some of the same supplies and come up with a little bit different look. Please stop by the myStamp Box Blog to see more inspiring projects using myStamp Box stamps and products.

Colors of the Rainbow card

I absolutely love the way this card turned out. I have always shied away from rainbow colors for no reason other than it's just not my style I guess. Who knows.

My card is for the Chalk Ah Lot challenge Rainbow with chalk. I dry embossed the white cardstock with a Darice embossing folder and then took all the colors of the rainbow, ROY G BIV, and swiped them across the embossing with a cosmetic makeup wedge. The glitter on the top and bottom of the rainbow is glitter tape by Recollections.

For the sentiment Wishing you a Special day stamp is by Stamp N Plus and I heat embossed it onto vellum. I die cut it out with a Spellbinders die cut and thought it needed something more so I die cut the next largest size die cut in vellum again to layer them. The fun rhinestones that were added to each side of the die cut are left overs from a few dance costumes.

Pretty sweet and simple today. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Cozy Chair Stamp by Stamp N Plus

My card today features this Cozy Chair stamp by Stamp N Plus and I have to say it is one of my favorite stamps to play with. I previously made the stamped image which you can see in THIS post, and finally acquired the correct shade of purple to match the flowers in the chair. The image was stamped with Versa Mark and then heat embossed it with SNP silver embossing powder. Next I colored it in with Stamp N Plus's Stardust powdered chalk mixed with distress inks and water. The distress inks give the Stardust chalk color with a beautiful sparkle to it. Then I finished the image piece up by die cutting the it out with a Spellbinder's die and matting it onto a piece of purple scrap patterned paper.

The pink polka dot paper is by Making Memories and the purple background paper is by Recollections. The ribbon is doubled with the wider pink ribbon by Offray and the smaller pink with a gathered white center by American Crafts. The chipboard tag is also by American Crafts and I have layered a Doodlebug sentiment sticker onto it. I was a little afraid that the tag would get ripped off in the mail so after I adhered it with glue dots I added a brad. I can only hope that it makes it to the recipient in one piece but really who knows.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

myStamp Box Happy Day

My card today is made using a stamp set from....
The set is called Programmed Robots and I used for my focal image, sentiment and highlights of my patterned paper. My focal image and sentiment are stamped with the same blue ink on the same off white paper. I die cut the robot with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink by Ranger. I used the small nuts and boltheads in the stamp set by stamping them and punching them out with a tiny little circle punch. Then I adhered them on the hanging planets in the patterned paper which is by October Afternoon.. Stop by myStamp Box store and check out their stamp sets and by the myStamp Box Blog for fabulous new ideas.

Deep Red Stamps Flourish with Leaves

Hey all, my card today shows off some new goodies I was able to play with. The first is the Flourish with leaves stamp by Deep Red Stamps. You can find this stamp at A Cherry On Top and Scrapbook dot com.

I heat embossed the image onto white cardstock with Versa Mark ink and clear embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I used a resist technique using distress inks and water mixed with Perfect Pearls both by Ranger. I used a Quickutz die to create the square die cuts. The patterned paper is by Cosmo Cricket.

Next I have this fun new embossing folder by Gina Marie and this one and many others can be found at Scrapbookpal. This one is called Victorian Fans. The cardstock is by Bazzill and I inked around the edges with distress inks Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge. I just wanted to pass on another way to get your hands on the embossing folder. I talked with Gina and she said you can also purchase her embossing folders on Ebay by searching Gina Marie Embossing Folders.

My subtle sentiment is a made of metal and is by Forever in Time. I laced Stampin Up ribbon through the holes and around to the back of the card front.
