Bundle of Joy & Don't forget Monday's Giveaways

I made this card with stamps by Fiskars. I stamped the hippo with Memento Ink onto Cryogen cardstock and colored him with Copic markers. I then die cut him out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink by Ranger. The sentiment is stamped with Hero Arts Shadow Ink and then I cut it out. The cardstock of the circle die cut behind the image is by Coredinations which is adhered with foam adhesive. The patterned paper is by Die Cuts with a View, the ribbon by The Paper Studio and the pearls by Forever in Time.

The cardstock on top is by Stampin Up and the stencil is by The Crafters Workshop. I combined Viva Color's Inka Gold Metallic Rub made for Creative Imaginations in silver and Picket Fence Distress paint together to create the medium for my stenciled part. I wouldn't suggest combining the two. The consistences didn't mix to create that perfect medium but I did so because the Viva rub is hard and reminds me of shoe polish. I wanted the silver color to be a little bit runnier like the distress paint. The two didn't mix well and the white paint creeped under the stencil separate from the silver rub. Combining the two was a mess and then the silver was dulled by the white paint. FAIL! Lol:) Then I pondered should I make a card with it and I came up with this thought: A baby card would be the best choice since sometimes they leak outside their area as well as my white paint did. You can boo and hiss in the comments. All this thinking is coming from me, the non-parent.

Have a great day everyone. If you have a chance let me know what you've tried mixing together and if it was a sweet success or an epic fail. Save me from making the same mistake.

Thank you to all the wonderful crafters worldwide willing to open up themselves and allowing me to share their Manly Monday card. There is a giveaway on the Monday post which I will link HERE

Horses in Orange

I made a few more horse cards using the same orange woodgrain patterned paper that I don't know who makes it. The horse stamp is by Inkadinkado and I heat embossed it with copper embossing powder by Ranger. The image was die cut out with a Spellbinders die and inked on the inside with distress ink. The sentiment tag is stamped with a Stampin Up stamp {Very old set} and then inked the edges of that tag too. The ribbon is by Pebbles and the border die cut is by Crate Papers. Black and white cardstock by Recollections.

This horse was stamped with brown SU ink and then die cut out with a Spellbinders die. I inked the inside to look like the sky and the ground with distress ink. The sentiment letter stamps are by Lawn Fawn and that brownish paper is by Best Creations. White cardstock by Recollections and the bottom edge has been punched with a border punch by EK Success.

Manly Monday Dad's Green shirt+ GIVEAWAY

Edited May 2021 see the sidebar for an explanation

For my card I used a button up shirt stamp by Unity Stamp Company. I stamped it with black Hero Arts ink onto watercolor paper by Ranger. I used Peerless watercolors to color in the image. The image was then trimmed down and an eyelet placed in the top. The patterned paper on the left is by Cosmo Cricket and the green on the right is by Die Cuts with a View. The green paper made me think of like football plays that a coach would draw for his players. Idk I could be way off on that. The devoted sticker is by K and Co and the father die cut is by Clearly Besotted. The white frame is the leftover from a rectangle {Spellbinders} that I attached vellum to the backside.

Hi all. Welcome back to Manly Monday. I have some awesome cards from crafters all over the world in today's post. There is a card for every man in this post. I'm lovin' it! Click on the blog title above the clip of their card to be directed to the blog post where the masculine card is waiting for you to stop by and give it a kick butt {I'm trying to sound manly because if it was me I would say "a fabulous.."} comment. Everybody loves comments and it doesn't take that long to say if you like their card.

Giveaway Time: Come, come now, I'll give you some incentive to checking out the cards for today. I will choose 2 people to receive a fabulous goodie bag filled with crafty stuff to play with. All you have to do is comment on one or all 13 blogs-that includes mine, for your chance to win. Of coarse commenting on more blogs increases your odds but you do whatever you can do.

You need to follow Cre8iveCindy on either Google Friends Connect or with Bloglovin'. Both of these options are on my right sidebar just a skip down the page.

I will pick two comments randomly from random blogs to win the prizes which could include stamps and paper pads to ink pads and more things I have to give away. I also have Copic markers that need a home but I will talk with the winners about them first and if neither need those colors the markers will go back in to giveaway tote,

I would love to see Manly Monday go all over the web or just Blogland. It would make a happy camper if they just came to see the guy cards but it's more then likely the giveaway part that will attract people. If you prefer to do social media plugs, I'm at the following:

This first one is so CAS I don't know if I even like it. It did not photograph well which ticks me off. So this is yet another Christmas card book layout. I wish I could say that they are coming to an end with this project but really I'm not. I was really behind when I decided to focus my energy to these pictures. Stay with me please. Manyly Monday will be here tomorrow and you're going to love it.

Anyway, the patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye and the red cardstock is by Stampin Up and white is by Recollections. The date was cut out using the Cricut and the big circles were cut out using Creative Memories Cutting System whereas the little circles were punched out with a punch by EK Success.

Mermaid Card

Today's card is kind of fun a beach themed. The mermaid stamp is by Inkadinkado and I have inked it with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with platinum embossing powder by Ranger Industries. Then I brought in some Smooch Ink by Clearsnap to color the image in. I cut her out into a square and matted her on to the scallop square die cut by Spellbinders with Quick Quotes patterned paper. I also die cut a piece of blue fun foam with the same scallop square die cut to give it some dimension. The sort of background paper is by K and Co, the helm is die cut from my Cricut and Life's a Beach cartridge and finally the little sentiment square under the helm is by Quick Quotes. I forgot to say the card base is pre-made by recollections.

Celebrate Bling

I'm posting for Sassy Studio Designs Thursday challenge and the theme is bling. I'm using Ella at the Ball image for my card today. I printed her out onto Neenah solar white cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. I wrote down her hair colors; E13, E25, E19 and a touch of YR24. I colored the dress with BV000, BV00, BV11, and V17.

The glitter paper is by Die Cuts with a View and it has been die cut with a border die by Spellbinders.  The background patterned paper is by Studio G. I trimmed the image down and adhered it to the glitter cardstock. The line of purple rhinestones along with the pink rhinestone in the middle of the flower are by Eyelet Outlet. The flower is old and I can't recall the manufacturer. The sentiment stamp is by Fiskars and the purple ink is by Staz-On.

Inked Background Layout

Still working on my Christmas card scrapbook. I'm into 2013 with this family so I'm getting closer. The background paper was white with all these snowflakes heat embossed on it. I brought in distress ink color Fired Brick slowly and carefully in order to achieve the darker edges and lighter center. Then I sprayed the paper with water mixed with Perfect Pearls. I know it's two guys and guys don't like sparkle but it's my book and I like sparkle.

The rest of the layout follows a sketch at Stick it down, see below. The polka dot and green word patterned paper is by Die Cuts with a View. The red cardstock in back is by Coredinations and the green paper matted behind the photo is an old journal box from Creative Memories. To finish, the washi tape down the left side is by Darice, the border sticker with snowflakes is by K and Co and the 2013 is cut from my Cricut Art Philospohy cartridge.

All but the green cardstock is by Recollections. The green cardstock is by Coredinations. The letter stamps are by Lawn Fawn and the ink by Hero Arts. Nice and simple today.
