Manly Monday 50th Lumberjack Card

I bought this die plate from Scrapbooking Made Simple. The lumberjack stamp is unknown. I colored him in with Copic markers. The sentiment stamp is by The Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday Anchor Card

The patterned paper is by Studio G. The embossed paper is by Colorbok. The sentiment is a stamp by Stampendous that I cut out with a Spellbinders die.  While the paper was still in the die I embossed it using a rubber mat and then inked it with distress ink. 

This card was supposed to go for Kendra‘s card challenge #10 but I didn’t like it. So it sat in the “To Be Finished” box waiting for an occasion or to come up with a brilliant way to finish it.

 The sketch that inspired my card is in the upper right corner. Keep in mind, sketches are there to spark your creativity, and this was mine loosely based on the sketch.

Floral Friday Spring Flowers sentiment

I apologize for the poor quality of the picture. I hadn’t taken it myself, but I wanted to send it to my stepmom. Consequently, I snapped the photo in my kitchen on a gloomy, cold day. 

The patterned paper is by Jillibean Soup. The stamp is by Couture Creations. I colored it in with Copic markers. I’m not sure what happened but one flower was cut off. Hmm. The sentiment is unknown. I love the rest of it. On the inside it says: “ Spring is in the air and your birthday is too”. I think it fits the image perfectly. I added some sequins from Fun Journeys Stampers. Manly Monday Star stencil card

 I made this birthday card with glimmer mist and two stencils: The obvious one, the stars, and then underneath that is a polka dot. Those stencils are by The Crafter's Workshop. The sentiment stamp is by Paper Smooches. The star die cuts were in my stash. Thanks for looking.

Weiner Dog sympathy card

Pet sympathy cards are hard for me since I lost my best friend in August. His name was Rusty and he was a beautiful Akita. He loved me more than anybody else. If I wasn't in the room he would go find me. I never knew that love before.
When Rusty died I received 2 sympathy cards. I was crushed. That being said, I don't want anyone else to feel like I did. When I hear of someone losing a pet I make a card and send it out. Therefore, I have a handful of pet sympathy cards to post.
I made this card by inking a rainbow of distress inks on a patterned paper. Then the circle was cut out with my Creative Memories cutting system. The dog stamp is by Gina Marie and the ribbon is by Martha Stewart.
