SWEET STRAWBERRY CARD for Chalk Ah Lot Die Cuts

UPDATED 8-29-21
All of the things about this card are from a company, blog, challenge, products that are no longer. So here is my cute card and all the BS from before is below.

This week at Chalk Ah Lot we are having 2 or more die cuts with chalk. The challenge will run for two weeks like it normally did and the limit is 3 projects per person.
My card features 4+ die cuts; black behind strawberry, red behind strawberry, and green, and the sentiment is layered die cuts by Cricut.
I used a strawberry stamp by Stamp N Plus to make my focal image. I used powdered chalk mixed with paint also by Stamp N Plus as my ink to stamp the strawberry. I show how to do this in a Tutorial.
That's all for now. Thanks for looking.

Canadian Goose Card

I made this card using stamps by Stamp N Plus. I stamped the Goose Stamp with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I direct to paper inked the white cardstock with Ranger's distress ink {Iced Spruce}. Then I lightly sprayed the image with water and let it dry. I usually do this technique with watercolor paper but that I would try it on Recollections white cardstock. After it dried I matted a piece of Stampin Up gray cardstock and then onto the patterned paper. I cut the pennants out of the same cardstock and stamped the word dad over all three. The stamp can be found below and the black ink is by Hero Arts.

This sentiment stamp comes from a sheet of sentiments that is a must have for scrapping and cardmaking.

If you are interested in purchasing this sheet of rubber stamps please call Luann at 1-715-271-1873.

Upsy Daisy Stampin Up stamp set Cards

UPDATED 8-29-21 BY MAKING THE PICS LARGER

Hi all, I wanted to share a new card I made using the Stampin Up set Upsy Daisy. It's an older set but new to me. It's one of those sets that never really go out of style in my opinion. It's funny because I like one part of the first card and another part of the second card. Maybe I should try it one more time to see if I can get it right. The patterned paper I used was leftover scraps from old projects and was no longer available.

For each card, I heat embossed the image onto Bazzill cardstock using an off-white embossing powder with brown flecks in it and Versa Mark ink. I had to stamp the image twice to fill up the space across the card. No biggie since the Versa Mark stays wet for a long time. You have time to ink up your stamp again for the second impression. I didn't mask or remove the extra parts from the stamp because it looks more like a cluster to overlap the images. After the image was embossed I inked the edges with Ranger distress ink.

The sentiment stamps for both cards are by Gina Marie Stamps in the Simple Sentiments Stamp set. You can find her store at Wholesalecraftingsupplies.com. I stamped the sentiments with Hero Arts ink.

Thanks for looking.

Here is the second card.

Sunflower Stencil with Embossing Paste and Chalk

For my card today I used Stamp N Plus powdered chalk with a paint regular paintbrush and water. The sunflower image is a metal stencil that I covered with white embossing paste. Then I colored in the paste with powdered chalk and a little bit of water. I used the powdered chalk colors Teddy Bear {Brown} for the center, Dandy {Yellow} for the petals, and Lime {Green} for the leaves.

I die cut the image out with a Spellbinders die and inked the edges with Ranger's distress ink. The square-lined paper is old and I can't recall its maker. The sentiment is by Just Rite stamps stamped with Hero Arts black ink. The yellow patterned paper is by Sunborn and behind that is Basic Grey.

Thanks for looking.

I'm going to try and squeak in with two more cards. This one follows Nichol Magouirk's card. I don't have the stamps they used so I used what I have. The triangles are by Kelly Purkey and the hexagons by Stampin Up.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 6 Laura

I have two more to upload for now. This one is inspired by Laura's tags. The stamp is by Inkadinkado, stamped with Tsukineko ink and colored with Copics. The red paper is by Stampin Up as well as the Love die cut. The green papers are by Sunborn and the ribbon is from my stash.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 8 Kristina

Stretch Your Stamps 2 card inspired by Kristina Werner's technique. My stamps are by Kitchen Sink Stamps and Lawn Fawn. The ink is by Rubber Stampede, Stampin Up, and Versa Mark. Cardstock by Recollections and embossing powder by Stamp N Plus.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 4 Kristina

I have another Stretch Your Stamps 2 card using a technique from Kristina Werner and well.....it took a long time and I'm not sure the results are all that great. I did all the stamping in Tsukineko green ink on Bazzill and Creative Memories cardstock. The stamps are by K and i Memories, Just Stamps, Inkadinkado and TPC Studio. I did it and the green was kind of blah. I restamped the one Best Wishes with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with Stamp N Stuff black glitter powder. I then inked some white cardstock by Recollections and heat embossed it with the same powder. I cut that paper into strips and adhered it to the corners. The circle is cut out with a Creative Memories circle cutter and it is on dimensional adhesive.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 5 Sheri

This card is based on Sheri Carroll's paper piecing and layering those pieces with dimensional adhesive. The stamp is by Inkadinkado which I colored with some with Copic markers. I love the polka dot patterned paper in the center. The green paper is patterned paper that I colored with the Copics which was a little different from what I normally do.

The sentiment is by Sweet Stamp Shop in the Easily Distracted stamp set. I inked some white cardstock and covered it with gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I took the stamp and stamped the embossing powder to remove the powder around that stamp. Then I heat embossed the area.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Family is Forever Day 9

I did the same technique in pink. The cardstock is by Studio G with patterned paper by DCWV and Making Memories. The die cut is by Spellbinders. The flowers and leaf stamps are by Stampin Up and Paper Smooches. The ink is by Stampin Up, Colorbox, and Versa Color.

The sentiment stamp is by Gina Marie Designs but it is a retired stamp set. But check out hjer other supplies at

Thanks for looking.
