Today's card uses a stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Happy 4th. The stars background is a stencil by Crafters Workshop. I applied Dreamweaver Stencils silver embossing paste with a palette knife and let dry. I covered up the bottom with some striped paper by Die Cuts with a View The Linen Closet stack. Then I wanted incorporate the new stamp set that Lawn Fawn gave me for being published in a magazine with their stamps and I thought how about heat embossing over my embossing paste. I used Versa Mark ink and Ranger embossing powder in red and blue. The blue firework has a little mistake on it but hey, it happens. I covered the seam between the patterned paper and the background with glitter tape by American Crafts, stamped the sentiment with Stampin Up red ink and adhered a Lawn Fawn star die cut to the end.
Thanks for looking.
