Dalia For You

For You card could be and probably will be used for a birthday card but really it could be an encouragement card, thank you, get well and so on. I really like this sentiment a lot. That and best wishes are good cards to keep in your collection.

The kraft background cardstock is by Oriental Trading Co. There are three layers of  Dalia die cuts by Spellbinders. The outer yellow is dry embossed by a Cuttlebug folder and machine. Then the circle punch in the center is home for a Stampin Up flower stamp with matching punch.

The sentiment stamp is by Fiskars and I stamped it onto a Sizzix tag die. The shear ribbon is wrapped around the background cardstock. The brad is set into the background paper before taping it to a 4 x 5 1/2 card base.

Bird Sympathy card

This simple card was so nice and easy to put together. It makes me wonder why I don't approach all my cards this way.

The bird is a K and Co pre-made die cut that I inked the edges with distress ink. I layered it onto a Spellbinders die cut. The sentiment is a Stamping Scraping stamp in brown Stampin Up ink onto a strip of brown cardstock.

The patterned paper is from my stash AKA I don't know the manufacturer-Sorry.

USA Card

I found this flag stamp in a box and thought it was perfect for the red, white and blue theme for the ATC swap this month.

I colored the flag and Lawn Fawn letter stamps in with distress markers before huffing on them and stamping on white cardstock. I did try to do the same thing with the fireworks stamps but it's not very noticeable. What else isn't very noticeable is the dry embossed star background on the white cardstock. Oh well. The corner is blue vellum that I ran through the Xyron sticker maker. The large red circle is a corduroy brad. It's huge, which I love using on ATC's rather than cards or scrapbook layouts.

Bright Birthday greetings

Here are some very bright and busy birthday cards. For all of them I used a brayer over multiple colored ink set by Tsukineko. The also all have ribbon by May Arts with an Around the Block brad in each one.

1st and 2nd cards have a square punch (CM) dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.
Then I colored in the present with powdered chalk and paint.
Behind the squares is a purple (Bazzill) die cut by DO Objectives.

Then this last one the Stampemndous butterfly
was stamped with Tsukneko black ink
 and colored with Copic markers
The die cut behind the butterfly is by Dreamweavers Stencil
the circle behind is Making Memories patterned paper
that is dry embossed with Darice folder
all of that is on top of a white Spellbinders die (Beaded circles die)

Bloom Flower Card

My card today is for my monthly ATC swap and the theme is flowers. The patterned paper is by Making Memories. I punched out the patterned paper and also a piece of yellow fun foam with a  the scallop circle punch by Stampin Up. I adhered the patterned paper to the foam and then to the brown cardstock. The foam layer gives some dimension between the patterned paper and the cardstock. The patterned paper has been inked with distress ink and then dusted with gold Perfect Pearls.

I found some stamps in my stash. The first is a rounded stamp with the word bloom and the second is a small dragonfly. I stamped both with brown Stampin Up ink. The word bloom is stamped around the scallop circle four times. I couldn't believe how perfectly it covered the outside of the circle. The gold flower is by Recollections.

Deep Red Stamps Peacock card

Another ATC theme for July is Peacocks. I actually had two peacock stamps in my stash but the one I used on these cards is the
I pounced different distress ink colors onto the stamp before stamping it onto off white cardstock that I inked with black distress ink. I dry embossed the background cardstock with a Fiskars texture plate and inked it with blue and green distress inks. I inked the edges with black distress ink before I brushed the background with Perfect Pearls.

The sentiments are misc vellum pieces from my stash. I run all of my vellum through the Xyron sticker maker. It's the only way I adhere vellum to projects. I embellished with blue and green rhinestones and I also used a Ranger/Tim Holtz tiny stapler.
