For today's card I used two techniques from two different sources. I'll start with the background. I dry embossed this white cardstock with a Darice embossing folder. Then I covered the paper with Versa Mark ink and white embossing powder. I heat embossed the background giving the bricks a texture. I learned this technique from Pat Garvin at Mark's Finest Papers.
HERE is another card I made using the same technique.
The second technique in my card is with the flower. Instead of using foam adhesive for the flower I learned from Jennifer McGuire to punch or die cut multiples of the same shape and glue them together for the added dimension. It's such a money saver considering how I pop everything up with foam adhesive. The flower stamp and punch and aqua cardstock are by Stampin Up. I stamped the flower with Hero arts shadow ink the center is a Sticko sticker by EK Success. The die cut is by Spellbinders. The sentiment stamp is by Just Right in black Hero Arts ink.
Thanks for looking.
