Floral Friday Sunflower Stamp

 

 The stamp is by Stampendous. The single die cut by Spellbinders. The stamp was inked with multiple small ink cubes to give the image multiple colors. After I ran the die cut through the machine I inked the inside with green distress ink. This card base is very flimsy so it wouldn’t have taken anymore weight than what’s on it. Thanks for looking. Manly Monday Debossed background card

The background is made with Tim Holtz kraft core cardstock combined with a dry embossing folder by Darice. Then I used some Copic markers of the same shade. 

I had intended for the raised embossing to be on the kraft side of the cardstock but I wasn’t mindful of which way was up on the embossing folder .

I then decided to cut out a cover plate die cut by Simply Defined from Scrapbooking Made Simple out of Papertrey Ink polka dot patterned paper. After I adhered it to my embossed background I colored in the die cut leaves and it didn’t work. I tried different colors and 

nothing seemed to look right. 

So to take away from the leaves that I didn’t like, I used a Copic marker over the raised embossed areas. It’s okay.

I made this bokeh background using different size circle stamps and white pigment ink on vellum. It looks really nice with a plain dark cardstock behind it like in the image below but not so much with light polka dot paper in the card like the image above.

Flower Friday Hidden fabric Sunflower card

The gold paper is by Sizzix. The sentiment is from Close to my Heart. The tag is a recycled item. The leaf stamp is a Studio G red rubber stamp. On the inside when you lift the gold paper up the journal box is by Recollections and the sunflower is fabric. Thanks for looking. HAGD!
