Through the Craft Room Door has a new anything goes challenge that starts today. My DT card uses a Stamping Boutique digi stamp that you can read about below.

I used glitter paper by Recollections, Cryogen cardstock with Copic markers, Ranger watercolor paper for the background stamp by Hero Arts that was stamped with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with Ranger embossing powder. To further the background I mixed Picket Fence white distress paint with Adirondack silver acrylic pain mixed with water and Perfect Pearls. I applied the mixture with a ink blending tool all of which are by Ranger. The background paper of the image is by GCD and the stickles/glitter glue by Ranger. The sentiment is by myStamp Box on Recollections pearl paper with Stampin Up red ink.

Manly Monday Ship

My card today uses two Stampin Up stamps. The first one is the map background which I white heat embossed onto the frame and then inked with my distress ink and blender to create the look of land and water. The second stamp is the ship from the set called Open Seas. I stamped it in black Hero Arts ink and used distress ink and a blender to complete the scene. The kraft cardstock is by Oriental Trading Co and the white by Recollections. The birthday die cut is by Papertrey Ink that I inked the brown cardstock to make it darker.

Manly Monday Clock

Updated 7/21/21
See side bar for explanation.

Welcome back to a late edition of Manly Monday. My husband and I decided to stay one more night at our cottage with just each other last night which meant no blogging. The cottage is not equipped with high-speed internet which is how it should be. It's a place to get away from it all. Not bring it all with you

My card for today is a small one using a card base size 3 1/2 x 5 by Coredinations.

I'm not sure of the patterned papers manufacturer but the print one on top is die cut with a Spellbinders square die.

The cardstock is by Recollections and the clock image stamp is by Tim Holtz with Stampers Anonymous.

I stamped it with Ranger's distress embossing ink pad and heat embossed it clear with embossing powder by Stamp N Plus.

Then to finish the card, I used washi tape by Darice, a circle sticker by Martha Stewart, and a sentiment stamp by Paper Smooches with Hero Arts black ink.

So anyway, here are the Manly Monday cards that I was able to round up. This time of year, there are so many Christmas cards that finding enough masculine cards to show you was a challenge. Be sure to click on the blog name to go directly to their Manly Monday card and then check out my card at the bottom.

Thank you ladies for letting me share your cards. They were all wonderful examples of masculine cards.

Thanks for looking.
I kept some links for inspiration. You should know that I checked to see if the links were still legitimite and deleted the links to challenges no longer around.

I triple set the ribbon starting with a white satin from my MIL's stash, then some Stampin Up blue scalloped polka dot with red ribbon on top which is by Ben Franklin. The sentiment is by Stampin Up stamped in black Hero Arts ink. The red cardstock is by Recollections and the blue by DCWV.
