These are not my favorite cards but I made them. This blog is a place for me to look at all the things I've made for the last 13 years. Today is my Mom's birthday. She would have been 76. After she died in July 2019 from complications of dementia and failure to thrive we held a memorial at the funeral home. Then we did a burial of her ashes on her birthday, October 12, 2019. It was so cold that day that I couldn't use normal colors for an October calendar page. The patterned paper on the left is by Recollections and by Basic Gray in the Cricut title. Snowflakes by Maya Road and Jolee's. The border punch is by Fiskars. Thanks for looking.
Patterned papers are by K&Co. Sunborn. Recollections. The stamp was inked with two different colors of distress markers. I huffed on it and stamped it onto the paper. When you put one ink color on the stamp it tends to dry before you ink and stamp the next color.
The patterned paper by Moxxie on the bottom and My Mind's Eye on the top. I cut the image and the mat behind it with my trimmer and rounded the corners with a Creative Memories edge rounder. There's a border between the two papers and it is by Martha Stewart. The digital image is by Robyn's Fetish and colored in with powdered chalk mixed with white pearl paint both by Stampin N Plus. Then I came in with colored pencils to finish and add shadows. Thanks for looking.

I sat and put some flowers together with other things, doily, tags, and other flowers. I made them into cards and haven’t posted about them. These patterned paper flowers are randomly in pairs and were bugging me. Thanks for looking.
I used different colored ink cubes on a Hero Arts background stamp. The main ink pad for the image is by Lawn Fawn. I’m not very impressed with their ink cubes. The color isn’t as wow as the YouTube content makers make it out to be. I purchased a four-pack and this is my least favorite but I can’t say any of the other ones are any better. I used blue and brown and olive distress ink for the rest of the background. After this sat in my drawer, the year of using things from the drawer, I used the olive cube to make more grass, and then I wanted something out in the distance so I got out my brown cubes and a distress ink blender. It kind of looks like something like mountains or not mountains but smaller mountains. Same Stamp
