Easter Lily Cards

This a very old post that I found and after searching my blog these cards were never posted. However, they are so similar to these
I'm making Easter ATC cards for a swap using a vintage flower.
There is another vintage flower section of png's on the blog
I stamped the background with a Hero Arts background stamp with SU moss ink. I inked it with different colors of distress ink. On top of that layer is Mulberry paper that had been made to stick to the front of the card. I printed the flowers onto glossy paper and adhered to the front of the card. Then I added Jolee’s cross sticker.

I also made this card using another digital image from the same batch.

Manly Monday Stampendous Worldly Hello

Start by stamping the Old World Map (Stampendous RS-R163) onto white cardstock with charcoal ink (Hero Arts). I colored in the image with Fantasticks and distress inks (Ranger). Apply Antique Linen distress ink to the white cardstock with an ink blending tool (Ranger). Use the edge of scissors to distress the edges before adhering the panel to a 5 ½ x 4” kraft card base (Recollections). Stamp the word Hello (Stampendous Happy Messages SSC109) with the same ink on a scrap of off white cardstock and adhere as shown.

Here are a few other cards using the same stamp set.

Day 3- Weekend of Dog Days of Summer cards

Last post for dog days of summer cards.

Patterned paper by Creative Memories. Die-cut bought on eBay. Brad by The Paper Studio.

I made a bunch of dog cards. On the first set of cards, I created the backgrounds with stamps by Paper Smooches and Stampendous with Distress ink, Die-cut by Spellbinders out of The Paper Studio patterned paper. Memento ink and Stampin Up ink.

I sprayed this first cad with Ranger gold mist and the patterned paper is maybe by The Paper Studio. I used Colorbox ink on the dog stamps with multiple colors. I created the layered look by inking the center with a light color and the outside of the stamp with a darker color.

Die cuts from eBay.

The corner punches on this second card look like EK Success. The sentiment is a punch by Martha Stewart. The dog stamp is by Paper Smooches. Paper Patterned by Dream Street Papers.

Day 2- Weekend of Dog Days of Summer

July 31st is:
National Mutts Day
But I'm going to include it into my weekend of dog days of summer.
I have a few of them to share today. I find I need pet sympathy cards and I hate to make one on the spot.
The black dog is also by Gina Marie Designs, paw print by Paper Smooches and heart by Stampendous with black ink by Hero Arts and red ink by Stampin Up. I bought the die-cut from eBay. I inked the inside of the die cut with distress ink. The patterned paper is by Paper Adventures and green by My Mind's Eye.

This card is a stamp from Gina Marie on a Spellbinders die-cut. The other die cuts from Cricut. The brown background is stamped with Stampin' Up background stamp onto kraft cardstock by Oriental Trading Co. Yellow background is a recycled card.

According to my silly holidays' website,

I made these two cards with a Paper Smooches set

This purple card uses patterned paper by The Paper Studio. It's fuzzy. The purple cardstock is by Bazzill. The jute is by Tim Holtz. The sentiment is by Die Cuts with a View. The dog image is by Paper Smooches. Here's another card using this dog stamp.

Die-cut by Cricut and Spellbinders. The patterned paper is unknown. Sentiment by Hero Arts.

Lawn Fawn Hello Card

This card was published in Just Cards! magazine. I'm so sad that they are no longer making this magazine.
I only thing changed one thing, I added another die-cut sentiment to cover a flaw/scratch on the darker "Hello" die-cut but then I scratched up the light color die-cut. So it is what it is.

Bug a Boo floral card

I colored the Bug a Boo watering can digital stamp with flowers in with Copic Markers. I had this old frame cut out from my Cricut Creative Memories cartridge size 4”. The paper behind it is by Colorbok. There’s not much to it much to this card but it’s pretty. Thanks for looking.

National Hot Dog Day

I'm showing some of the food signs I made for the silent auction. It's great to post them on the wacky national holiday days.

I had an old pad of paper by Provo Craft that had the hot dog, ketchup and mustard on it. I fussy cut it out. Title-Stampin' Up stamps.

Manly Monday Compass Card

For this card, I used a stamp by The Paper Company which I debossed the image and then stamped it inside the debossed space. Black ink by Hero Arts. I inked the edges of the images circle with distress ink and an ink blender both by Ranger Industries. The sentiment stamp is by Fiskars and I heat embossed it with Versa Mark ink and Ranger embossing powder. I did the sentiment onto vellum by The Paper Studio. Weekend Card Mini series Green & Orange

These little ladies are in the stamp set,
Deep Red Stamps City Girls Night Out
I colored both in with Copic Markers. Not the greatest but not bad enough to throw away.
The sentiment is a dimensional sticker by Momenta. The dry embossing folder is by Darice with a little bit of inking.

This orange card has been tough to photograph. Fingers crossed that it looks okay.

Weekend with Chicks Card Mini Series

I decided to make a small mini-series for the weekend. The cards use the chicks from
Deep Red Stamps City Girls Formal Affair
I colored both of these in with Copic markers. I used corner punch by Marvy and a sentiment sticker by Melissa Frances.

Here is the same stamp in purple. I colored her with Copic markers and layered her onto multiple cardstocks and patterned paper. The sentiment sticker is by SRM Stickers.

The second one uses a Cricut cut for the sentiment and Creative Memories decorative square punch.

Homely Thinking of You Card

Honestly, I'm not sure what I would use this card for because the house image makes me think of congrats on your new home. I hate to throw the image away since it's already colored in. The coloring isn't horrible. It's a representation of how I color with Copics now and then in 5 years, hopefully, it will be better. I need to practice more. *giggle
So with that, the image is by MyStamp Box but I can't find the set online. Patterned paper by Cosmo Cricket. The sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts.

Yellow Framed Flower Card

This is an old stamp by...Imaginations! (That's the only thing it says on the stamp)
I gave myself 10 minutes to look for it online and I think the company is no longer in business. But I did find some similar stamps by them on eBay that I link to at the end.
Anyway, the patterned papers are by Papertry Ink and the other is from a greeting card. I colored in the flower with Copic markers. The green and black cardstock are scraps. The ribbon with the knot on the side is going to require a padded envelope and extra postage but I don't mind. It wouldn't be any fun to limit yourself to only making flat cards.
Thanks so much for looking.

So, I didn't find this stamp but I found some that were like it and by the same company.

May God Bless You Always card

I bought the bird stamp at Michael’s many years ago and after rediscovering it I thought it was time to get it on paper or get rid of the stamp. So, I stamped it onto white cardstock and colored it in with colored pencils before fussy cutting the image out. The circle and oval are hand-me-down die-cuts. I set an eyelet into the oval. The background paper is a Project Life card. Under that is a glitter cardstock by Die Cuts with a View. The sentiment is an oldie by Close to my Heart.

Manly Monday Buck Thank you Cards

So I had a friend ask to buy some thank you cards and after pulling out what I had, it was clear to me that I needed some masculine thank you cards. However, I decided not to include the sentiment on the front of the card in case I liked it for a different purpose. My friend likes to write her own message on the inside, which I do not, but it will be easy for me to stamp a sentiment inside as needed.
All of these cards are made with Deep Red Stamps with the majority from this
Season of Joy Stamp set
I think these cards are good examples of how you can use holiday stamps for something other than holidays.

In this first card, I inked my
Tree Bark Background stamp with multiple distress inks. I then sprayed with water and stamped it onto white cardstock. After it dried, I inked the edges and stamped the Tree stamp from Seasons of Joy stamp set over the background stamp on the right.
I stamped the Buck Stamp onto white Copic friendly paper and colored it in with Copic marker. I then fussy cut the image out and went around the edges with a black marker before adhering it to the card with dimensional adhesive. Here's another place I found the Buck Stamp

Here's a picture of the background to show the tree stamp.

The second card has the same tree bark background just with different colors. I stamped the Acorns from the Seasons Of Joy set onto white cardstock and added the sentiment stamp, which is by Forever in Time.

Next card with a different buck stamp. I colored directly onto the rubber of this stamp with distress markers, huffed on it and stamped it onto white cardstock. The buck stamp is in the Seasons of Joy stamp set
I used my decorative scissors by Fiskars around the edges of the buck. These old scissors look like the edge of a postage stamp.

The same bark background is the second generation stamp from the acorn card. I like that it doesn't take away from the buck. Sentiment stamp by Forever in Time.

I did the same thing with coloring of the Deep Red Stamps Buck stamp with markers, huffed, stamped and cut it out with postage stamp scissors. I dry embossed kraft cardstock (Oriental Trading Co) with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Here is one more that isn't included in the group picture but it's so similar to the others that I felt including it here was the best option.
I did some very quick watercoloring with Distress Inks and a paint brush. The background is same embossing folder as above but this time I lightly rubbed a Distress Oxide ink pad on top-Fired Brick. This buck stamp is not included in the Seasons of Joy set. Here is the link to that stamp.

I'm sorry this is such a long post but they are all so similar that if I stretch the cards out into one post for each card, I may get confused and possibly double post one of them.
Thanks for looking. It may be a few days until I post again but I'll be back.

All things grow with Love.

The stamp is by The Unity Stamp Co. on a Cricut die cut. I colored in the flower with gel pens. The die-cut behind is by Lawn Fawn out of a wallpaper sample. Background paper is by Die Cuts with a View. The paper behind that was a white cardstock that I had inked with distress inks and spritzed with water. Thanks for looking.

Older Die Cuts Birthday Cards

I wanted to use these older die cuts that I found and can’t remember the name of to prove to myself that I can make older products look good. Thanks for looking.
The patterned paper is by The Paper Studio and sentiment is by Lawn Fawn.

The sentiment is a recycled card and the rest of the card was created with scraps.

Sassafrass patterned paper; Dry embossing folder is unknown; Stamp by Clearly Besotted; sticker by Little Yellow Bicycle.

I set an eyelet at the end of the balloon and added embroidery floss to look like a string. The celebrate and you are die cuts.

Here they are all together.
 Thanks for looking.

Yellow Stampin' Up Flower Birthday cards

This is one of those Stampin' Up "I had to have it" stamp sets that I...rarely use. Ugh!
In the first card, I colored in the flower with colored pencils (SU) and fussy cut it out. I layered it onto some dies I bought from eBay with dimensional adhesive. The sentiment is also by SU on yellow paper. The tan colored paper isn't cardstock, it's a wallpaper sample that I dry embossed. I wrapped the jute, which is by Darice, around the back of the panel before adhering it to the card base.

In this second card, I colored the flower with Copic markers. Then I layered it on top of  5 layers of paper. The scallop squares die-cuts are by Spellbinders. Striped patterned paper is unknown but the yellow checked patterned paper is by Colorbok. The sentiment stamp is by Bo Bunny. I white heat embossed it.

Thanks so much for looking.
After looking on my blog I found this stamp used in these posts:
