Best Wishes stenciling technique

I used a Momenta stencil and a Scrapbooking Made Simple leaf stencil with Distress Oxide inks. I inked the stencils in the normal way. Then I sprayed the leftover ink on the stencil with water and squished it over the top. 
I reused a floral image, except I added Perfect Pearls on the pedals. I found the sentiment in Cricut Design Space, and instead of cutting it out, I used my markers to write it out. Then I punched it out with a circle punch.

Floral Friday Just for You card

The floral die cut is by Scrapbooking Made Simple. I cut it out of yellow cardstock. I made a background using red and olive distress ink on a white piece of cardstock. I was hoping that adding the ink would make the flower look better. Not so much. The sentiment is from my stash. I sprayed the entire card with water mixed in with perfect pearls. Thanks for looking. Floral Friday Alcohol Inks and Sunflower Card

I made this background with alcohol inks. This lovely sunflower found its way onto my desk and it matched the paper just beautifully. I added Stickles to random areas of the flower to give it some sparkle. I had some rub-ons of a straight stitch in the yellow-orange color.

 The last thing I did was glue on the “happy” sentiment die cut by Clearly Besotted and when I was doing that the glue got all over the letters. To fix it, I brushed gold Perfect Pearls over the letters.

The flower stamp is by Stampendous. They went out of business in September of 2022, Please correct me if I’m wrong. 

Why is this important? I’m going to tell you. I purchased the dies because they were less than a dollar. I was going to look around for the matching stamps. It never occurred to me that the company would go out of business and I wouldn’t be able to get them anymore. Having the dies was a bit pointless until a friend shared with me to color copy the images on the package to use with the dies. I didn’t know you could do that after the company went out of business. Kick butt!

April Calendar Layout Sunflowers and Audrey

The green patterned paper is by Sunborn. The green cardstock is the other side of that patterned paper. The woodgrain patterned paper is by Pebbles. 

The sunflower stamp is by Stampin Up. I added gold and bronze Perfect Pearls to the flower and fussy cut it out. I stamped the leaf in a green ink by SU. 

For the blue sky, I used distress ink as the base and then added some translucent paint mixed with a powdered chalk which is like Perfect Pearls.

I imagined the patterned paper look like tall green leaves and the woodgrain look like the steps.

Christmas tree card with Mulberry Paper

This is a crazy card. The snowflake background paper is by Making Memories. The snowflakes are a flock sort of touch.
The blue background is a mulberry paper. I did a few things with it. First, I pulled the edges apart using water and a tool from Creative Memories. Second, I added small stars that I retrieved from a corner punch. Lastly, I sprayed the mulberry paper with a mixture that I made where I added perfect pearls into a water bottle.
And here's the last part about my card the tree. I used distress markers to color in the rubber area before stamping it down. Then I fussy cut the tree and adhered it to the mulberry paper with foam adhesive. Not pleasant or easy to do. Anyway,

Decorated in pink is a Christmas Cookie Card

 I used the Christmas Cookie image by Robyn's Fetish. ( No longer in business). I watercolor painted the cookie with a combination of Distress inks (Tea Dye and Antique Linen) and a little water mixed with Perfect Pearls. The inside of the cookie is colored with Copic markers. Then I colored the frosting of the cookie with a paintbrush using Platinum Liquid Pearls and water. From there I used the White Opal Liquid Pearls and made the frosting dots.

Here is another card using the same Cookie stamp. You have to scroll down to the bottom of the post. I like that I was able to pull another image out from the drawer.

Manly Monday Gingerbread Man Card

Gingerbread man stamp and powdered chalk are by SNP (no longer in business). Perfect pearls for the icing. Spellbinders die-cuts. PP by PinK is by Bazzill and the blue PP is by MME. The word Sweet came from a patterned paper by Recollections and cut out with a Spellbinders die.

Floral Friday Vintage-ish flower card

The background is a Heidi Swapp stencils with silver embossing paste. I covered that with a pearlescent paint by SNP (No longer around) Then I added JacQuard Brilliant Gold powder on top, which is like Perfect Pearls. 

The die cuts, I bought off of eBay.

The little card in the center is by Melissa Francis.

The glittery paper strip behind the center embellishment is cardstock that was sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

Floral Friday Sunflower Tag card and older SU Sunflower stamp card

The tag for this card is an upcycle. It was made by a family member named Dawn and it was given to Grandma LaFrate in 2016 (I think-SMH. I thought I took a picture of the back so I would be able to reference it. I can't find it.)

So all I did was ink the Provo Craft patterned paper with distress ink,
Heat embossed the sentiment stamp by Forever in Time, inked it, and punched it out. 
The circle underneath is a Recollections journal box. I used a Spellbinders die to cut it out and then inked it. The first time I inked it in Vintage Photo and I did;t like it, I flipped it over and inked it with Peeled Paint.
The sentiment is on Zots 3D dot thingy's that I fought with and won't use them again for a circle punch. I thought that since they were round that would work better than the square dimensional adhesive. Not so much. It looks warped. Oh well.

This next card was also made by Dawn. I took the top of this handmade card and cut off the dirty sides. Then I added the panel onto this store-bought card because it matched so beautifully.

 

The card below uses a very old Stampin Up stamp set and a Close to my Heart sentiment. 

I used perfect pearls on the sunflower. The patterned papers are by Studio G (orange check) and Studio Calico (woodgrain). The die-cut behind the sunflower is by Spellbinders.

Christmas Tree Embossing paste card

The brass tree stencil is by Lasting Impressions, Circa 1997. I used Dreamweaver Stencils embossing paste and Perfect Pearls. The tape ripped the cardstock when I pulled the stencil up. It was too pretty to toss, so I kept it, and tada. It made it onto a card. The ribbon is by Michael's and Oriental Trading Company. The die-cut is by Spellbinders. The patterned paper is by Martha Stewart

Lawn Fawn Hedge Hog Love Anniversary card

Hello. I have a cute little anniversary card using the Lawn Fawn Hedgehogs stamps and matching dies.
There's nothing very fancy about this card except that it's not a design I would normally do.
One nice thing about this card is I used products from my stash. I used a love sticker, an old stencil, and I used a remnant/scrap from a handmade background. I show a picture of the supplies at the bottom. 

I used the stencil with some different colored distress ink. Then I sprayed the background with my favorite gold sparkle spritz, which they no longer make. Of course.

I was originally going to use the tree image but changed my mind. I wasn't able to make it work with the other products. I'll save it for later.

I'm into the technique where you stamp an image with Versa Mark ink and dust Perfect Pearls on it.l It looks great with the background stamps.
The background stamp is an oldie by Stampin Up. The grey patterned paper, that I love is by Close to my Heart and the strip down the side is by Recollections. The sentiment die cut is by Cloud 9  (Fiskars)

Elisabeth's 50th birthday Card

I gave this to my friend Elisabeth for her 50th birthday

Gold is the traditional color for 50th wedding anniversaries. 

I used it as the anniversary of her birth.

I've said it before but I have to tell you, I love this gold spray by Ranger

It's called, Perfect Pearls Mists color-Sunflower Sparkle. It's not only beautiful, but it is also useful for the following reason, the gold mist sprays out a bold color that it really helps to cover up imperfections. Such as liquid adhesive that seeps out from under the die-cut and looks horrible.

The sentiment is a sticker from Close to My Heart

The die- cuts were cut using my Cricut. 

The frame is negative from something I cut.

1967 brick numbering layout

Here’s another layout for the family album.

I cut the oval out with my Creative Memories cutting system out of white cardstock. 

The red patterned paper on the left is by Deja Views 

The brick dry embossed background paper is by Craft Smith (Michael’s)

The manufacturer of the brick numbers was torn off.

I used my Cricut to cut out the floral die-cut and the layered rectangle with rounded edges.

I cut the floral die-cut out of off-white cardstock and used distress ink and distress oxide to give it color.

Afterward, I gave it a spritz of Ranger’s gold mist. I love the way it makes everything sparkle and how it gives the leaves a little bit of mottling. (That’s a new word Ali taught me;)

These pictures were my inspiration for the gnome card.

The flowers in the background look like they’re being held up by a lattice

Hello There Card with a tag

I started with a  tag by Basic Grey.
I inked up a background stamp by Hero Arts with Versa Mark ink.
I white heat embossed using Stampendous embossing powder
Then I inked the tag with Vintage Photo distress ink
I sprayed the tag with water mixed with gold Perfect Pearls
The ribbon is by American Crafts and it is secured with staples from the tiny attached by Ranger Industries.

The sentiment sticker is by K and Co

Forever in our Hearts Bright sympathy cards

I made a few not your normal sympathy cards. The colors are kind of bright. I'm not sure if that's good or bad but any card you send someone will be appreciated.

I used stamps for the sentiment by Stampibilities

The heart dies I bought off of eBay.
They were cut out of DCWV glittery paper.
The red paper behind it is by Craft Smith.
I sprayed it with Perfect pearls gold

The ribbon is old and I can't remember who it's by. Maybe Prima? Shout out if you know.
