Christmas Cards All Year Round November

Christmas Cards All Year Round starts a new challenge today of no patterned paper on your Christmas cards.  For my card I dry embossed the holly leaves background, folder by The Paper Studio, and then I put green ink on the leaves and Smooch ink on the berries. The white cardstock is by Recollections and the green and red by Coredinations. The tree stamp is by Inkadinkado stamped with Versa Color green ink and the sentiment by Gina Marie ink Stampin Up red ink. There is a small red ribbon with a white dotted line at the bottom along with a jute by Tim Holtz and a button.

Thanks for looking.

Best Wishes Butterfly

I'm loving a blue and purple color combo lately. For this card I stamped and heat embossed the background with Versa Mark ink and myStamp Box white embossing powder onto white Recollections cardstock. Then I inked the entire area with Ranger's distress ink and sprayed it generously with water mixed with Perfect Pearls. It has a fabulous shimmer. The background and butterfly stamps are by Hero Arts and the sentiment by Stampin Up. The butterfly is stamped with Memento Ink and the sentiment with Hero Arts black ink. The butterfly was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out and then layered onto 3 different shapes of die cuts all by Spellbinders. The sentiment is on purple cardstock that has been inked on a Quickutz die cut. There is a Making Memories eyelet on the right of the sentiment die cut. All of these layers where adhered to a white Recollections card base size 4 x 5.5.

Thanks for looking.
