I just want to say thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such nice comments. I have picked a winner and am waiting to hear back from her before I announce her name. Before the end of the night I may pick a second winner just because it's so much fun:)I received an envelope of scraps from a Ms Owens and you would have thought I won the lottery. I showed everyone my goodies and that is all I have been working with since I got it. It was such a treasure to me. In fact here is the TY card I made for her:
Stop by soon to see what I have been working on. I try to post a card or LO everyday. Thanks again.

It's my birthday
On this day 35 years ago my mom finally was able to get me out. I was suppose to be born on November 3rd and waited until after Thanksgiving dinner to show signs that it might be time. Two days after turkey day and two days of tiring labor I entered the world. She thought I was a boy (they didn't do ultrasounds back then) and my dad wasn't in the room when I was born (another thing they didn't do back then). Anyway, thanks to my biggest fan, My Mom for giving me this birthday:)
So my birthday wish is that you leave a comment on something you like on my blog. That would make my day=) Plus for those scrappy people that are visiting today I have a random drawing prize to give away.
Thanks
Cindy

Pure Attitude
Here's a second one, layout that is, since I missed a post yesterday. These 12.5 hour shifts leave little time for other things besides sleep:(
This LO was inspired by a challenge at Dixie Pieces. You had to cut out a large element from a patterned paper and use it on your LO. The large circles are my elements. TFL
Supplies-CS by Bazzill and The Paper Co.; PP by MME; Stickles by Ranger; Stamps by Inkadinkado and G Studio; Ink by SU and Tsukineko; ribbon by AC; brads by OTC and The Paper Studio; Flowers by OTC, Prima, Petaloo and unknown; buttons from Dixie Pieces September kit; Chipboard by 3 bugs in a rug.

BFF
Xmas Presents
I just love the no traditional Christmas colors of this LO. Supplies-floers by Imaginsce; brads by SEI; stickers by EK Success; wheel stamp, ink and coloring pencils by SU; circle punch by Marvy; transparnecy by K& Co; little pink things inside the flowers and stamped image-unknown; PP by Provo Craft; CS by Sunborn and Paper Reflections and Fastenator staplese by Provo Craft.
I was going to use this LO for a challenge: no adhesive on My Sketch World. I started with the flowers and tried to attach the pink insides of the flower by wrapping them around the brad. After an hour and results that I hated I went on to use adhesive. Using a Zot on the punched circle and I attached each half to it. The whole process still took a ton of time by I like the way it turned out. Then in the stamped image there are circles (very small circles) in the pattern. I punctured a hole in a few and placed the pistel (pink flower insides) up into the hole. I figured this gave it added dimension.

How about this? Halloween Scrapbook Layout
This LO was crated for the GDT spot at Backdoor memories. I didn't win the spot but I really like my LO. I did a few things on this LO that I don't normally do. First I got the blak paper wet and then crumpled it in my hands. After that I laid it out flat and waited for it to dry. Once the paper was dry, I took my white pigment pad and just so lightly I skimmed it over the cardstock. I think it looks kind of spooky. Second I made the pumpkin from three oval punches. The top I just free cut, which is something I never do. Third the stalk is raff-e-a (not sure how to spell it) I took the top and just ripped it into shreds.. Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I hope you like what you see.
