Online Card Class Day 1 Embossing Christmas card with rhinestones Card

I do not have 3D embossing folders. This folder is new so I used it. Another thing from the class that I used as inspiration is adding rhinestones to the center of the flowers and on the patterned paper by Provo Craft. is I haven't been put sequins of rhinestones on cards.

The rubber stamp says @Magenta made in Canada.

Christmas stuff out and I created these two cards too. That's what's taking me so long to get through the classes is the other products that I am discovering while making the card for the class.

Below, patterned paper by Carta Bella, and the center strip is a manufacturer strip. The center is a gift tag.

Strips of patterned paper are by Craft Smith (Top and Bottom) and Anna Griffin in the center.

Online Card Class-Tearing Technique for my Christmas Tree Card

This is an Online card class my Day 1, yes Day 1 Tearing technique card.

The example was a heart but I couldn't wrap my head around tearing a heart. Besides, I'm using this class to kick-start my Christmas cards. 

I do love the way this turned out. The presents are a Cricut cut that I've wanted to use for over 2 years. The only "good" thing about 2020 is how it gives me a time reference. It didn't happen last year which makes you think of 2019 in a whole different way, "Was it 2019?". So I digress.

My card uses a specialty cardstock by Provo Craft, circa 2003. Under the sticker, it says, "We inspire Creativity". Kind of neat. The sentiment is computer-generated.

My tears do not line up perfect but I'm happy to have the idea for the other 30 trees that I cut out. Idt this die is for a tree but it was the easiest thing available. I think it's a pennant. It was part of a RAC package.

Lawn Fawn Wheel From the Artic to the Beach cards

Lawn Fawn Stamp and die set with the Reveal Wheel. All of the images were colored with Copic markers and then cut out with their matching dies

For the walrus, I dry embossed the bottom and then inked it with Ranger's distress ink.

The next pictures are the different sentiments revealed when you turn the wheel.

I have problems with them warping because of the humidity in my basement.

Manly Monday Golf club Bags and club image Cards

The golf bag stamp is by Great Impressions. Colored in with Peerless Watercolors. Die-cut from an eBay die and inked inside with distress ink. Border stamp by TPC Studio that was white heat embossed. Embossing folder by Cuttlebug that was inked with distress ink on an ombré of blues. All of this is on a kraft colored cardstock
 



I colored this image with Copic markers and used Sizzix dies to cut it out. The grass border sticker is by K and Co. The patterned paper is from my stash. The label is by Close to my Heart and I tried to stamp the word Fore! in there and it didn’t turn out well.

The four edges are washi tape that matched and helped pull it together

The die-cut in the center was bought off of eBay. I inked the inside with distress ink.

Floral Friday Clearly Besotted in Peach Just for you Cards

The layered flowers use the stamp set Nouveau Flowers (circa 2015) from Clearly Besotted and I cut them out with their matching dies. I used all different inks to give the flowers some dimension and interest. 
The little squiggly stamps on each card are unknown. Unfortunately, with all of my recent "Hauls", I prefer the term "Deals", I think that saying a product is unknown is going to become common in my posts. 

The sentiment stamp is unknown. (It was one of my deals) The rectangle die-cuts by Gina Marie . Gina Marie is from where I live in Sparta, MI. My husband taught her and her sister in high school. She had a store 5 miles from my house that was getting more sales online and decided to close up her shop in 2017. She has a great selection of dies at cheaper prices than most others in the cardmaking world. The only patterned paper that I know for sure is the background paper by Papertrey Ink.  I never thought I would use it (too busy). In fact, I often use the back of it for the white paper.

The purple flower in her hair is an epoxy sticker.

The pearls are by Want 2 Scrap. I colored them in with my Copic markers.

The patterned paper is by Die Cuts with a View (hair), Recollections (Red dry embossed) Bo Bunny (polka dot), and a recycled store-bought card (bottom piece)

 I'm taking a class at Online Card Classes and will have a bunch of those cards coming out.

August Calendar Layout Blue Skies

The only thing about this layout for the 2021 August Groh calendar is it has a QR Code. Otherwise, there is nothing to this LO. 3 pictures were matted onto white cardstock and adhered to a piece of unknown patterned paper. Then I dug through my Cricut spares and found this title. TaDa.

Purple Birthday Card with Copic markers to the rescue

I have a cute birthday card with a lot to say about it. Tim Holtz die created the border on tap. The scalloped border is a sticker by Doodlebug. The border at the bottom was a pink sparkle and by Making Memories. Well, things can’t be easy and somewhere it’s got a pen mark on it. I sprayed it with this obnoxious shimmer spray that I recently purchased. It didn’t do much of anything to help my situation. I took a purple, light purple colored marker to the edges. I must say I was quite nervous because my arm tends to jerk.

The happy die is by Clearly Besotted. The word birthday is a draw feature on my Cricut.

The flower stamp is by Stampin Up. I colored it in with Copic markers. It was kind of drab and didn’t do much for the card.

Manly Monday Grill Masters Birthday cards

My cards today feature this Bar-B-Cutie is a SUGAR--PEA--DESIGNS--DIES & STAMPS. There is also a matching set of dies. I colored him and all of the accessories in with Copic markers. The little hamburgers and hotdogs are cute. The sentiment stamp is one from eBay with multiple colors of distress ink. The patterned paper is old gingham paper from Creative Memories.

The red one uses a border from Creative Memories and a sticker from Mrs Grossman’s 

I think the dies at the bottom of the card are an add-on set of stamps and dies. They don’t match as in cut out the stamps with the matching dies. The cute sentiment stamp set and cute die set. So, the icons on the gingham border and the sentiments are part of the add-ons. The border sticker and gingham are by Creative Memories.

I gave this guy some facial hair.

Floral Friday Just for you Clearly Besotted in yellow cards

I stamped and die cut out a ton of these Clearly Besotted flowers. In all different colors.

This first card:  

The die-cuts are by Spellbinders and inked with distress ink. There is distress ink is around the outside white panel and also inside the die-cut. Squeezed Lemonade Is a great yellow distress ink. The ribbon is by Craft Smart. The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug and inked with Walnut distress ink.

I am struggling with the photos of the card. Idk if my monitor is showing the colors as flat or if it's the way I'm taking the picture. Below is the original picture and above is the same picture that has been enhanced.

Second one:

The patterned paper is from Poppy stamps and then the yellow die-cuts paper is by Scenic Route.

The die-cuts layered 4 deep are all by Sizzix.

Third card:

The patterned paper is by Provo Craft (very old. using my stash makes me happy).
The stamped word "Let's" is a Paper Smooches stamp.
The "Celebrate" die is by Desire by Crafters Companion. The purple die cut is unknown because it was not my die.

I took a photo of these together to show how the same flower stamp looks in different colors.

Blue Sewing Swirls Happy Birthday Card

The swirl design that I poked into cardstock came from a stencil by Oriental Trading Co. I backstitched the design with blue floss by DMC. 
I show a picture of the stencil at the end of the post.
The sentiment stamp is by Lawn Fawn.
The blue paper is an old folder.

I love the beautiful card and can only imagine the joy it would bring to someone receiving it. But I hate poking the holes. Tedious and hard on my wrists and right elbow.

            Blah, Blah, Blah...

My card today has a little story. I’ll keep it brief.

About 4 years ago I used a stencil by Oriental Trading Co. The stencil is designed for you to poke the holes of the design through cardstock and then to do a backstitch in the holes and so I did just that on this paper/cardstock.

This paper has traveled around my craft room being placed in this drawer and then moved to another drawer.
So here’s my first problem with this card front, it was an odd size, and a lot of times it wasn’t bagged up.

 It’s ridiculous because I have a lot of baggies. When I would find it I just could not figure out what I wanted to do with it. It’s so pretty and time-consuming and maybe I didn’t want to make it into a card and give it away.

Well, the latest time that I moved it, I noticed that the sewing was starting to come loose. 

It looked frazzled. 

It was time to make it into a card. I didn't want all of the time spent on this card to be wasted.

Deep Red Stamps Garden Girl Card

The little Garden Girl stamp is by Deep Red Stamps and I colored her in with Copic Markers. The sentiment is a sticker. The flower pot die-cut is by Dies...To die For. The patterned paper are scraps from my stash. Brads of garden tools are from Eyelet Outlet. The flowers in my card are punches from random companies. The paper was photo paper scraps that I inked with Ranger's alcohol inks.
