Manly Monday

Welcome back to another week of Manly Monday. This blog post featured every Monday is dedicated to guy cards. We all have a tendency to struggle with guy cards and that's where this post will come in handy. Not only do I post my own manly card but I will supply links to other masculine cards that I find over the past week.

For my card today I used some new to me embossing folders by Darice. Both the star and swirled backgrounds are embossed on chipboard, which I painted with acrylic paint by Making Memories after embossing them. After the red paint dried I lightly sanded the raised area and dusted some green paint on top so the swirls would stick out. The guitar stamp is by Stampibilities as is the Rock Star sentiment. The guitar is heat embossed with black embossing powder by Stamp N Plus and ink is Versa Mark. The circle sentiment is Lawn Fawn alphabet letters inked with Hero Arts ink. Rock Star is stamped in white craft ink by Stampin Up. The cardstock used in my card is by Recollections.
