I used the all the same product lines.

Blurry Square Stamp with Vellum Card

I stamped the background as I try the stamp out with the different colors of ink. I was making sure the leftover ink didn't go where it wasn't supposed to. Well, then it was too pretty to throw away. I did place 3 yellow square under the vellum. The sentiment is a Cricut cut and I have it adhered to the vellum. I adhered the vellum in place with an old tool-The Fastenator-it's a big stapler.

I'm trying to use things. I liked them at some point in my life. And now is the time to get things out and used.

Have a great day.

Manly Monday Acorn Card

I wanted to get this one out before it's considered winter. Paper in background is from the Sugared paper pad by Basic Grey. Dry embossed with Cuttlebug folder. Stripe paper by Sunborn. Rounded shape in the corners of the striped paper are corner punches that another piece of paper is weaved through them. I put the paper in backwards. Hard to explain and even harder to find an example at this hour. I'll work on that.Acorn and stamp behind it are by Stampin' Up

Mini Cards for Anniversary

Before I start, The next few days I will be posting cards that all have the blurry square stamp. I wanted to use this stamp set in different ways and just use it while it's new to me.

Anyway, This card was easy to pull together because all the die cutting, dry embossing and stamping were done beforehand. I looked on my table and counter and found theses lovely pieces that finally found their way to come together. The golden background is recycled wall paper that I dry embossed. The blurry square is in the center with a heart die cut-glittery paper. The squares came from Wish the happy die by Lawn Fawn is stamped and die cut out with matching die.

I couldn't decide on this bottom picture on weather or not to throw it out or not.

I felt these two cards would go together because the heart paper above is the same paper on here.  The edge where you open the card has been cut with scallop shaped scissors. The center is dry embossed Tim Holtz folder that I covered with distress stickles. Looking at the pictures has made me realize that the bodies of the butterflies are incomplete. I'll need to work on that.

Thanks for coming over to see my creations. Have a fabulous day!

Big Milestone for my blog

Today is a huge milestone for me because this post is my 3000th post.
Yes, 3000 times!
I've been putting off writing this post, for a few weeks now. Why? Well...Shouldn't such a blog milestone come with a big celebration and showing old projects compared to new ones and lots of giveaways. Right? Sorry but no. Keep reading.

I just don't have time to coordinate such a big yahoo. I'm helping with the Caring Hearts Card Drive and physically putting cards into envelopes hurts my elbow, just like typing does. The surgery that I had last year has helped but if I overuse it, I have to stop and ice it.  (Cubital tunnel and carpal tunnel on my dominate arm).
It has been a great experience being a distributor for the Caring Hearts Card Drive. Here are a few pictures of my basement, before and after talking to Vera. I have more to upload as time permits. I received 7700 cards. Amazing feeling to have 20 packages on the front porch and they were all for me, sort of. It would have been a great time to order something for me. Hubby never would have noticed another box that had my name on it.

When I first started blogging I did so to enter challenges and win prizes. Then it turned into I was blogging to be noticed or to be discovered for design teams. (Yaa...right. SMH)

I've been on a handful of design teams and each taught me valuable lessons. I met wonderful people with so much talent and met some not so nice people. I didn't like the stress I would put on myself to create awesome projects and then to write about them in my blog post. There was so much time involved in all of that and due to medical disabilities, time wasn't always available.

I like posting my creations here but recently I asked myself why? And the first two reasons that came to my head:
Timeline as to when I made things.
And because of blog  labels, it's easier for me to search my blog and find graduation cards that I made then it is to search my computer.

So with all of that, I wanted to tell you that I have a bunch of cards that will be on the blog this week.
Thanks for stopping by.
