3 Stripes of patterned paper Anniversary cards

I made these fun anniversary cards using my Valentine’s Day products. The patterned paper is by Fancy Pants. The scalloped border die cut is by Martha Stewart. On the first card, I cut the border in half and adhered them to the outsides. The polka dot patterned paper is by Papertrey Ink.

For the second card, I left the border together and adhered it to the center. I cut the top of the strips of patterned paper on the top and bottom with decorative scissors that resembled postage stamps.

The sentiment on both cards is by Close to my Heart. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

July Calendar Layout 2024 Orange at a Football game.

I’ve always thought this color of the calendar was orange thus making it the stupidest color for a July calendar page. But I went with it for the calendar page. I buy the pre-made calendars from Current. It saves me time but definitely not money. Idt anyone has ever tried to give me money for calendars. Hmmm.

Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Christmas cards using the same blue Patterned

The snowmen stamp is by Stampin Up and I colored them in with Copic Markers.

This next card is what I started with but I didn’t think the red in the sentiment matched the red in the patterned paper. So I found a rub-on that matched better and changed it.

Peace and Dove Rub-On Christmas card

This is a very simple card but I like the way it turned out. The image is a rub-on by Fancy Pants. The sentiment die is by Clearly Besotted. I cut it out of 3 different colors and then offset it so each color can be seen. Thanks for looking. I'm entering the Holiday cheer challenge at

3 of my favorite Christmas Cards from this year

These are three totally different cards but I like them more than the others I made this year.

This stamp by Close to my Heart is not that long. You have to line it up and stamp it twice. The problem is, the stamp is stained and it’s hard to see. Sometimes it takes a few tries.

Anyway, I colored them in with some random markers on my desk. The let it snow is ribbon from the dollar store or the dollar bucket at Michael’s. The green paper is from Stampin’ Up! They make such pretty paper.

This next card, the patterned paper is by K and Co. the sentiment is by Hero Arts

Older crafters probably have a few of those metal stencils in their stash. I think that someone showed me how you can use one of them with a stylus.

About 5 years ago I was introduced to embossing paste but I haven’t practiced in a while. One day I sat down with embossing paste and stencils and practiced. The last ones I made were my best.

I found this tag in my stash from that day and wanted to make it stand out. So I heavily inked just the outsides of the tag to make the tree to be the first thing your eyes see.

I stapled a piece of ribbon from my husband's Oma with Tim Holtz Attacher

And this last card,
This is an old Stampin Up Christmas tree stamp. Stamped in olive and I trimmed it closer to size. The die-cut behind the tree is unknown but I do know the paper is by Fancy Pants.
I punched out 2 squares of the silver paper by CM. They don't sell it anymore, Ugh!
Then I cut the squares in half to put on the corners. The star is a button with embroidery tread tangled inside of it.

Snowman by the North Pole

Winter Wishes-Start with a 4 x 5 ½ white card base (Recollections) and adhere a piece of Bo Bunny polka dot patterned paper to the right side. The embossed cardstock (Doodlebug Designs) comes white and I inked it with blue distress ink with an ink blending tool (both by Ranger). Adhere that cardstock to the left side. Paint a chipboard shape with red paint (Pebbles) and when it dries rub gold Perfect Pearls over the top using your finger. Add a sentiment and snowflake dies (Echo Park) along with a rub-on (Fancy Pants) to the front before gluing the chipboard to the card front. Stamp North Pole snowman by Deep Red Stamps (Sku 3x405554) onto Strathmore watercolor cardstock with black ink (Hero Arts). Color image in with distress inks and some white iridescent paint before inking the edges with blue distress ink. Adhere image to the chipboard.

Beach Bum Cheers Card for Marcia

I made this one as a birthday card.
As I see it, the card on which the bottle cap is on looks like the sun to me.
The bottle cap matches the bubbles from the water dry embossed background
Lastly, the bottle cap matches the word "Cheers".
I ask you, how can that sentiment not match a beer bottle cap? :)

The background is dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.
The patterned paper is by Fancy Pants and the cheers die cut by Lawn Fawn.

Sending Hugs

I have another Kindness card to share with you. The butterfly die cut is by Making Memories, patterned paper by Fancy Pants, ribbon by American Crafts, label die cut by Sizzix with sentiment by Lawn Fawn in black Hero Arts ink. Brad is unknown. The border on the right is a TPC Studio stamp that I stamped with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I combined Faber Casell Gelatos with a glimmer white paint and painted it on with a sponge wedge. It turned out pretty.

By the Sea with SNP

Today's card is also being posted onto the Stamp N Plus blog

The two shell stamps on my card are from the Stamp N Plus store

I stamped the circular shell in Sahara Sand SU ink and the tubular shell with SU's Night of Navy ink. Then I took an Ranger ink blender and distress ink to the edges of each shell. The die cut that the shells are sitting on is from Quickutz, paper is Neenah Solar White and the burlap is from my stash. The blue fabric looking circle is a brad by Fancy pants. I liked the blue color because it reminds me of the ocean and I really thought the card needed a third element to balance it out. You're going to find this hard to believe but here it is, I don't have a beach theme brad in my stash. I know, right. What's the matter with me:)

The sentiment is an epoxy sticker by Cloud 9. It is normally translucent but I decided to place some vellum behind it because I feared the fibers from the burlap would stick to it or that sentiment would be hard to read/make out. Therefore I mounted the sticker on some The Paper Studio/Hobby Lobby vellum and cut it the same size/shape.

The blue cardstock strip and third background paper is by Stampin Up, the sand colored cardstock is by {or should I say was by} Creative Memories and the patterned paper on top is by DCWV. I thought this card was fitting since it's the last weekend before school starts.

You can find the shell stamps HERE

Thank you to Stamp N Plus for letting me post on your blog today.

Stop back tomorrow for the Chalk Ah Lot card also using Stamp N Plus stamps.
