Coca-Cola Cards

Some new ATC's with the theme fabric. My fabric is the background.

The bottle cap is from Darice. I punched a 1" circle and stamped the words inside with alphabet stamps and black ink. The flourishes and Michigan die cuts were by Quick Kutz. I used the same alphabet stamps for the words in lower Michigan and wrote the "we call it" with a purple marker in the Upper Peninsula.

The silver metallic floss was in my stash as well as the Coca-Cola fabric. I did dry emboss the card base with the fabric already adhered with a Cuttlebug  folder (tiny circles) and a border folder by Sizzix. I also splattered the base with white paint but it's hard to see. The Michigan die cut and the base were inked with Black Soot distress ink with an ink blender both by Ranger. The edges are fraying and a little rough but I kind of liked that look.

Just For You Flower card

The flower stamp and die are my Sizzix.  I stamped them with different Colorbox inks. The sentiment is a Fiskars stamp. The die behind the flower is by Spellbinders. The patterned paper behind the flower is by Die Cuts with a View and My Mind's Eye on the left side.

I'm not sure about the paper punch because it was a border swap I did a long time ago.

Stampin' Up Flower card

Another simple card that I will probably use for a birthday card. The Flower stamps are by Stampin Up and the leaf swirl is by Sizzix. I stamped them with Colorbox pigment ink and die cut out with matching dies. The patterned paper on the left is by Making Memories and to the right of it is washi tape by Darice. It's hard to see but to the right of the tape is a white on white border that I cut out with the Cricut cartridge Ribbons and Rosettes. The white cardstock base is by Recollections.

Large Christmas Tree card

Merry Christmas one and all! We are only 8 months away from the glorious holiday. The Christmas tree stamp was heat embossed with Versa Mark ink and Stampendous embossing powder. The green patterned paper is by Creative Memories. Then the one other thing I know is is the stamped sentiment by Hero Arts with ink by Stampin Up.

Manly Monday Blue Fish Cards

I dry embossed a piece of white cardstock with a Stampin Up cloud embossing folder. The wave patterned paper is by American Crafts. I hand cut the wave pattern at the top edge of the patterned paper. The sentiment (size 3 1/4) is cut from my Cricut Just Because Cards cartridge out of Bazzill blue cardstock. The mini fish are also cut from Cricut but I'm not sure which cartridge. The hook is a Quickutz die and the fish is a Close to My Heart stamp. I stamped it in brown ink (SU) and colored it in with distress markers before cutting him out.

The second card is very similar except I cut the sentiment a part and used one of the small fish dies to house the letter U, which is a Freckled Fawn sticker. The background stamp is by Stampin Up and the side border is a Spellbinders die.

Blue Moon Bottle cap card

I love the bottle cap cards for those family and friends that drink beer. A lot of them save cool caps for me. One of our good friends will pick out a beer based on if the cap catches his eye. Grand Rapids, MI is considered "Beer City". We have soooo many breweries in this area.

Anyways, the cap is matted with a circle punch (CM) and a scallop die (Spellbinders). The corner patterned paper is by Making Memories. The sentiment stamp (Hero Arts) is heat embossed in white onto a strip of blue cardstock. The other two cardstock are by Recollections.

Princess Vanellope Cards

I stamped a Stampin Up background onto white cardstock with Worn Lipstick distress ink. I inked the edges with the same pink and Peacock Feathers ink using an ink blending tool (Ranger). On pink thick mulberry paper by Darice I applied Dreamweaver Stencils white embossing paste to a stencil of a trophy. After it dried, I cut it out and inked the edges pink. I found some words in a magazine, which then, of course, I found better ones after I finished these cards. I added the words with Mod Podge and added some glitter on top of it. I got a little crazy with the glitter obscuring the words on two of them.

On white cardstock, I inked up a Stampin Up roller that looked to me like a checkered flag, with Bermuda Bay SU ink and rolled it several times before I was able to get it in a somewhat straight line. Not really but it is what it is. I cut it out and added the border on top of the card base before adhering the trophy to the left.

I printed the image of Princess Vanellope von Schweetz, a racer/glitch in the game Sugar Rush from the movie Wreck it Ralph. I found the image on Vintage Images.org and printed it out onto Canon photo paper. I also printer her out onto regular cardstock and liked the glossy much better. I trimmed down the image and matted black behind it. I popped the image up with 3M dimensional tape. The chipboard crown is either from Tim Holtz or Maya Road. Either way, I painted it gold with Adirondack Metallics Acrylic paint before adding the it behind her image. I added the key from my stash to the bottom.

I made invitations for a baby shower and thought I would share them here. I cut all the little pieces out with my Cricut and assembled them with the different shades of blue. Theblue line is a stamp by Close to my Heart and the sentiments are by Papertrey Ink stamped with blue ink (Ranger).

Happy Easter Cards

I'm low on time as usual but wanted to share these ATC's with you. The backgrounds all use a Hero Arts  stamp with one heat embossed and the others just regularly stamped with a SU ink. I inked them with distress inks and I sprayed with water. I added mulberry paper, a digital stamp and a Jolee's cross. Thanks for looking. Have a great Easter.

Purple and Kraft Birthday Card

I stamped the kraft cardstock (Oriental Trading Co.) with white pigment ink (SU) and then a purple pigment ink (Colorbox). I die cut the purple and pink decorative circles from the Cricut cartridge Lacy Labels with patterned paper by Die Cuts with a View and cardstock by SEI. The HB die is one I bought through Ebay. I finished by wrapping purple fibers (EK Success) around each corner before adhering the panel to a kraft card base by Recollections.

Stampin' Up flower cards

I made this set of cards with birthdays in mind but maybe something else will come up before a birthday does.

I used an old Stampin Up stamp. This is one of those sets I just had to have and then used it once or twice before it started collecting dust. For the first card I colored it in with colored pencils and the second with Copic markers. Both cards share the same design with different papers.

In the first card : The red paper is by Creative Memories and the yellow cardstock by Die Cuts with a View. The frilly twine is wrapped around the bottom of the yellow cardstock and I can't get the cardstock to stick to the red. I used my strongest adhesive, Tesa tape, and it still won't stay down. I'm thinking I need to take the yellow cardstock off and add dimensional adhesive to it.

Here is the second card and I think the patterned paper is by Recollections.

Peach Birthday Card

I have another repurposed card to share. HERE is the previous card and you can tell I didn't do much to make it into a birthday card. The yellow banner is a Stampin Up die that I stamped with a Lawn Fawn stamp. Then I added a glittery flower sticker by Martha Stewart. I stamped on the inside the Lawn Fawn word birthday and a Paper Smooches "To You" on a Spellbinders die cut.

Journey with a Suitcase

My ATC's today were from a previous swap. I inked the Ranger watercolor paper with different color distress ink. I stamped the map by Stampin' Up with black Hero Arts ink. I stamped the places/word stamp with Versa Mark ink and and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

The sentiment stamp and the one wheel tread mark are by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous and the suitcase is by Stampin' Up. It's a very old travel set. I colored the suitcase in with distress markers but not very well. The coin type thing is part of some old jewelry.

Manly Monday Manly Essence (Potty mouth warning)

My card today uses a digital image but I'm not sure where it's from. I printed it out onto Canon glossy paper. The background cardstock is by K and Co. The green and burgundy cardstocks are by Recollections. I'm not sure about the diamond patterned paper.

Lacy Technique card

For my card today I dry embossed a piece of pink cardstock by Paper Reflections with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The off white die cut is by Spellbinders and the circle die is by Stampendous. The flower is by Imaginisce and on top of that is a Stampin Up flower stamp that I fussy cut and layered on top. The lace in the center is two pieces back to back that I adhered to a piece of striped paper by running the paper through a Xyron sticker maker upside down. Then I lined up the lace to the paper before burnishing on the back side and adhering to the card front panel.
