Saturarted Canary Card on velvet patterned paper

What a pain in the butt!
I love this paper but...You can't get anything to adhere to it. I used the Multi Medium Matte by Ranger and put heavy weights on it. The center may stay down but the frilly edges peel up. Ugh!
And the stupid frilly die-cut wouldn't cut through no matter how many shims. My friend bought it online at either Wish or eBay so the quality isn't the greatest.
I colored in the parts that wouldn't come out with Copic markers and then taped the back so they would all stay in and on the die-cut. I should have considered a different background paper for this die-cut. Ya know, one that it would actually stick to.
Anyway, the image is by Saturated Canary and I colored it in with Copic Markers.
The image die-cut is by Sizzix inked with distress ink on the edges.

Graduation Girl in Blue

A semi-new graduation card for you today. This card was published in online magazine Scrapbook Magazine over a year ago. I think it's safe to post it on my blog now.

The image is by Saturated Canary, however I can't find her on the website after looking through all 30 pages twice. I colored her in with Copic markers. Then using my Cuttlebug tomake the image into an oval (Sizzix) I inked the inside with blue distress ink (Ranger). Theonly thing I don't know is the circle, as it came with a prize a while back. Otherwise the background paper (DCWV), blue cardstock (Coredinations), star die cut (Lawn Fawn) and the sentiment sticker (EK Success) all came together in this card.

Saturated Canary Grad card

Today's card features a Saturated Canary graduation image. I printed her out onto Cryogen cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I die cut her out using a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink. I die cut another rectangle shape in red to go behind the image. The patterned paper is by Scenic Route. The sentiment is a die cut from my Cricut. I inked the top layer of this sentiment die cut before adhering it to a shimmer piece of paper by Recollections. The rick rack is by Wright's, sequins by Craft Medley and enamel dots by Teresa Collins.

Saturated Canary Says Hello

Today's card uses a Saturated Canary stamp named Lovely. I ended up cutting the dress part off because I made a mistake and didn't want to waste the time I had into her upper body. The die cut is by Spellbinders and I inked the inside with distress ink that matched her top. The rest of the card came together easily. The patterned papers are by Basic Grey, Studio G, and Quick Quotes. The sentiment die cut is by Sizzix with Studio G paper, the sentiment stamp by Hero Arts and the ink by Stampin Up. I embellished with three different puffy flower stickers by K and Co.

Breast Cancer Hope card

My card today features a digi by Saturated Canary. I colored her in with Copic markers and then used Creative Memories cutting system to form the half circle. The scallop circles underneath are by Spellbinders. I sprayed the larger die cut with Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels and Smooch Spray by Clearsnap.

The circles die cuts are punches from Creative Memories and EK Success. The sentiment stamp is by Stamp N Plus and is stamped with Hero Arts black ink. I used some scraps from my stash to make the circles.

The background paper by Anna Griffin is matted with a piece of pink cardstock by Recollections. The embossed cardstock is by K and i Memories, ribbon from Michael's, epoxy sticker from dollar store and glitter dot by Recollections.
