Party it's my Birthday

This card took me forever but it is so pretty. I heat embossed this background stamp by Hero Arts with Versa Mark ink and white embossing powder by Hero Arts. Then I used Peerless Watercolors to color in the design. It is a technique I learned at one of the Online Card Classes. Then the sentiment is a Cricut cut using Cricut Craft Room font and basic shapes.

**Today is the end of my birthday giveaway. You have until noon EST to comment.**

Special Merry Christmas

Hi. In today's card I don't know who the ornament stamp is by but I colored it in with Copic markers and then cut it into a circle with my CM Cutting System. I then cut a circle a little bit bigger and then layered those two circle onto a Scenic Route circle die. I cut the background paper by Die Cuts with a View on a slant to allow room for my sentiment. The edges of the paper are covered with red ribbon and on top of that green rick rack. The sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts and it is stamped with Bamboo Leaves ink by Tsukineko.

Floral Bouquet Card

Today's card uses an old Stampin Up bouquet stamp. I stamped it with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with a sage colored embossing powder. I punched this scallop circle with a SU punch and also a piece of fun foam. Then I Cricut cut out the grey and the green die cuts out and adhered all the layers together. The background paper has been embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. All the cardstock in my card today was by Recollections.

Don't forget about the birthday giveaway. Only a few days left.

Cross Thank You Card

I made a thank you card on for this lovely Thanksgiving day. I hope you like it.

The background paper is by Craft Smith/Michael's. It has a cool embossed texture to it that I really like. I die cut the ribbon with my Cricut from the CM Tags and Frames cartridge out of this green cardstock from my stash. The sentiment and cross are by a company no longer in business but I stamped them with SU brown ink and circle punched it out with an EK Success punch. I then punched a larger circle in brown to go behind it. The bottom of the card is a canvas background stamp by SU in brown ink. I used the other half of this piece HERE. The jute is from my stash.

Have a great Thanksgiving and thanks for looking.

Happy Day Wedding card

Today's card is a fun wedding card that I made for the recent craft show I was in. I die cut the grey, coral and white dies from my Cricut using the cartridge Lacy Labels.
The coral paper is unknow but the grey  is by The Paper Studio and the white by Recollections. The image of the bride and groom is a stamp by Stampendous. I heat embossed it with Versa Mark ink and silver embossing powder by Hero Arts. I punched the image out with a EK Success circle punch and thought it needed something behind it to set it apart from the other white cardstock. So I added a silver cardstock circle behind it.

The background paper for this card is by Making Memories. The border in the middle is a Martha Stewart punch out of Color-Aid paper. The ribbon in the middle of the borders is by Offray. The sentiment is also a Stampendous stamp that is stamped with Hero Arts ink. I added some pearls by Want 2 Scrap to the die cut.

Manly Monday Magnificent Compass

Updated: April 2021
It’s hard for me to find the cards that I made for Manly Monday with this format. I’m going to bring the card that I made up to the top of the post.

I'm back again with the Tim Holtz compass stamp for my masculine card today. I stamped it with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with platinum embossing powder by Ranger. I colored it in with distress inks and a water pen and then die cut it with a Design Objectives die. Then the die behind it is a Spellbinders rounded square die that I inked the inside with distress ink and then under that is an experiment on a border punch. It didn't turn out like I had hoped but thought it fit this card well.

The background paper is unknown but the bottom Kraft cardstock is by Oriental Trading Co. I stamped it with a Stampin Up background stamp with brown ink. The jute around the center is by Tim Holtx. The two pennants at the bottom were oops Cricut cuts that matched this card. The sentiment is by Stampin Up.

Welcome back to Manly Monday. Click on the blog title above the clip to be directed to the masculine card.

Our Pets Card-Updated

My card today features a dog stamp by Gina Marie Stamps. I inked the stamp with Colorbox pigment ink and then did a rock n roll technique with some black Versa Color ink around the edges. I stamped the dog onto white cardstock by Recollections. I did let the dog sit over night to dry. Once he was dry I die cut him out with a Spellbinders die and lightly inked the inside with distress ink.

The sentiment was a quote I found online and printed on my printer. The die cut along the bottom is a Cricut cut from the Cricut Sampler cartridge. The black cardstock is by Recollections and the patterned paper is by Pebbles

Lawn Fawn Hugs

For my card today I used Lawn Fawn stamps and matching dies as well as the sentiment die. I stamped the doughnut and coffee cup onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers. Then I die cut the images out with my Cuttlebug including the steam stamp and the sentiment. I added tiny little beads to the top of the doughnut to look like doughnut decoration by adhering them on with Glossy Accents from Ranger. I used my Cricut to cut out the square behind the images. I used the cartridge Storybook with some Bazzill and Provo Craft cardstock. The patterned paper is by Cosmo Cricket.

Sassy Studio Designs Katniss

I'm posting for today's Flashback Friday at Sassy Studio Designs. This image will be available for free on the SSD Facebook group for 24 hours and then she will be gone.

I didn't know who this drawing was portraying so I Googled it and was really surprised at where she comes from. I've never read or seen the Hunger Games but I thought they were about survival and the character in this dress seemed out of place. But hey what do I know. lol

I printed her out onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored her in with Copic markers and Stampin Up colored pencils. For her dress I used the colors:
YR00, YR02, YR12, YR14, R0000, R05, R22

I really tried hard at making her dress look as though there are folds in it but I think I need to practice more. The red patterned paper is by Sandy Lion and the orange polka dot tape is by Darice. The word bubble is a Cricut George cut and I stamped a Lawn Fawn sentiment with Ranger's distress ink Gathered Twigs.

Giddy Up for a kid

UPDATED 8-29-21
LARGER PICTURES
Today's card features a horse stamp by Inkadinkado. I stamped it with Stampin Up brown ink and die cut it out with a Spellbinders die. I inked the die cut with distress ink and an ink blending tool both by Ranger. The background paper is by Die Cuts with a View and the brown ribbon is by Stampin Up. The faux black leather and silver buckle were pieces from an old dance costume. The white background is a stencil by Tim Holtz. I applied Dreamweaver Stencils white embossing paste over the stencil to create this textured look.

I'm going to send this card to the lovely Jennifer McGuire as part of her Share Handmade Kindness campaign. This week the challenge is to make and send a card to a kid and she has two kids battling cancer that could use the pick me up.
