I can’t find the original layout these things came from but here they are now. The background patterned paper is from…I’ll have to check. The patterned paper in the center is by Recollections. The other papers are dark red and green paper from my stash. The embellishments are from Recollections. Thanks for looking at the Sept 2022 calendar layout .

 The digital image is from Bug-a-boo. I colored them in with Copic markers. The patterned paper is by Imaginicse. The orange and black papers are scraps from my stash. The peace sign is made of chipboard, and it may be by Basic Gray.

Black and white with blue Chipboard Card

The polka dot velvet patterned paper is by the Doodlebug. The white, black, blue, layers are chipboard pieces layered on top of each other. The blue chipboard is by Colorbok and the others are by American Crafts. The sentiment is by Fiskars. 

I’m going to try and explain this ribbon thing so that the future me will understand, maybe.

The ribbon is two sided; one side is black and the other is black with white polka dots. So what you’re seeing is both sides of the ribbon because the ribbon goes around the whole stack of chipboard you see the side with polka dots closest to the card base and when it comes out from behind the back you see the polka dots pattern. When it goes around the front, it passes through the belt buckle shaped chipboard and up to the top with the black facing front. Then I stapled them in place. It’s going to cost a little bit (a lot) of postage to mail it but it will be worth it.

Accordion fold card with vintage wrapping paper

The sentiment is by Just Rite stamps. The chipboard button is by Colorbok. The white card stock panel is stamped with different Hart stamps. The colorful green, pink and blue paper is actually wrapping paper.  

The hearts are from all different walks of life. I just grabbed the colors I needed from my love  supplies. One of the hearts from Dollar Tree was a puffy plastic and it had an industrial pattern and color too. I painted hot pink over that shit. Another heart is chipboard. Another heart is felt.

In the picture above, you can see the backside of the card. I cut frames out of the wrapping paper to make the back look pretty.

Project: kids card (I gave it to my niece). Colors: in brrrr (The blue and white reminds me of winter, which is cold). Comic or cartoon: (the line up of squares in the center look like a comic strip to me). Random: button. (The front is a chip board button to hold the card together)

I’m trying really hard to get my cards posted. 

I can fill in the blanks at a later date.

Hey Chicky card

This little chick and the flowers are stickers. I layered them onto a Making Memories chipboard shape/frame. The background is dry embossed with a Cuttlebug Swiss dot embossing folder. The rhinestones are from Want 2 Scrap. Thanks for looking.

Debra's 60th Birthday card

Debra is a Zoom friend. I used two identical Project Life cards, one on top and the other on the bottom then I added these Making Memories number stickers on top of a Colorbok chipboard buckle. The ribbon is from Pebbles. Thanks  for looking.

Floral Friday Green and Blue Chipboard flower card

The green chipboard flowers are by Colorbok. The center chipboard flower was painted blue and then I brushed it with an emery board. The patterned papers are by Basic Grey and ??.  I put green rhinestones all down the center. Thanks for looking.

Floral Flower Pink Flower with a Chipboard Ribbon Card

The background patterned paper is by Basic Grey. I inked the edges with distress ink. The pink flower paper was made with Copic markers spritzed water.

Just a Note with muted Colors and a wallpaper leaf Card

The patterned paper is by My Mind’s Eye (background) and The Paper Loft (strips). The sentiment is a die by Spellbinders. I replaced the paper dot for with a dot for the “I” by Cloud 9. The label is made of chipboard and I painted it with Ranger’s gold distress paint and put Perfect Pearls on top of it. The leaf die is by Stampendous. The two leaves are unique for I cut one cut out of cardstock and one out of a wallpaper sample. Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday yellow and purple spring cards to donate to a senior living facility.

This is another set of spring cards I made to donate  to a senior center. The patterned paper is by Accord Publishing. The black cardstock is from Michael’s and the purple paper is from Studio G. The chipboard arrows were painted with Mr. Huey's paint. I can’t remember who makes the paint. To finish that landscape card I did something different and that I put patterned paper underneath each arrow. Before I shipped them out I saw this sticker and it was that something that this card needed. Manly Monday green and blue presents Birthday Cards

I’m using that same Stampin Up birthday stamp set that I use a lot. The green card, the patterned paper is a Christmas paper by Bo Bunny. The scallop punch that matches the sentiment stamp is by Stampin Up. The die cuts are ones that I bought off of eBay. The deckled lines above and below the center strip on both cards are rub-ons by Die Cuts with a View. 

For the 2nd card uses blue card and has a Spellbinders die cut using patterned paper by Little Yellow Bicycle. The chipboard on top of the die cut is unknown and I fussy cut the stamped image of a present. This is taking me forever to write this post. I have to be done. Grammar errors and all. :)

Manly Monday Rock N Roll cards

I used some chipboard tag embellishments from Making Memories with some tags from my Mom’s stash. The stickers are by Creative Memories. Green patterned paper is by My Mind’s Eye. All other products are from my stash. I thought the corners on the blue card looked like speakers when loud music is on. I can’t describe exactly what I mean but hopefully you get it. Floral Friday Belated Birthday wishes with a wreath

On my cards today I used chipboard from the same package by Prima. This first card uses a wreath die cut that is unknown. What I do know is that I dry embossed it by switching out my Cuttlebug plates with the paper (by Basic Grey) still in the die.
Then recently I pulled it out from a bin and thought it matched the chipboard circle in the center. I used chalk over the raised areas of the entire wreath. (or maybe distress ink-not sure).
The ribbon is from my stash. I tied the bow with the ribbon wrapped around the front panel. Then once the bow is to my liking I use a Zot or two to secure it to the front of the card. I then go to the back of the panel and cut the ribbon so I can pull it tight resulting in no sagging in the front. With the two ends of ribbon, I use Gorilla packing tape to secure them to the backside of the panel. I hope that made sense. The sentiment is by StampingScrapping (no longer in business)

This card came together with whatever was on my table.

The sentiment stamp is heat embossed in white and then inked with distress ink.

The brown label die-cut is by Elle’s Studio.

Prom 1959 Scrapbook Layout

I was so excited to use these prom stickers that have been in my stash for years.

Then look what I did...

Well, for the rest of the layout I used these products:

The white die- cuts behind the photo I cut out using my Cricut.

The patterned paper is by Creative Memories.

I fixed it by placing a zig zag edged chipboard border from Joann’s over the words on the stickers.

From there, I added a white strip of cardstock to the center. 

On top of the cardstock are the correct words using Quickutz letters.

In the center of the words, is a Quickutz swirly die cut with a flower in the center.

It’s not perfect but I’m okay with that.

This is the second page and all of the die cuts were cut using my Cricut.

St. Patrick’s Day Cards

This is a long post.

I’m going to be brief because there are a lot of cards.

I used my Cricut to draw and cut the die-cuts in the first seven cards and then thing for around his neck.

The patterned paper for the beer mug, keg, and the card with a corner pp and border is by Accord Publishing. It was a calendar from 2010. There’s a picture halfway down the post.

This first one, I made the smiley face to put the headband on. HAPPY is by Lawn Fawn. 

Pp for the pot is by The Paper Studio. Sentiment by Lawn Fawn.

Green circle is an up cycled thing from subway. I tried to stamp a shamrock on the ribbon but it didn’t work.

This lovely lady finally made it onto a card. I found her online years ago when I was doing ATC’s. 

The green shamrock pattern is fabric. It’s fraying and I kind of liked it that way.

The striped patterned paper is by Best Creations. 

This next card is simple but still nice.

I die-cut the border with my Cricut.

The pp is from the Accord Publishing calendar.

The sentiment stamp is by Stampin Up.

This card front is an up cycled piece of another card that came in the mail many years ago to my MIL. I put the company’s information in between the two pictures

Cut off the front of the one card and place it on patterned paper by Accord Publishing to make another.

1970's Making Wine Layout

There are so many different...things about this layout that I don't even know where to begin but I'm going to try until my hands hurt and won't let me type anymore.

Here we go.

This LO sat on my desk waiting for the perfect thing for the center. 

I found a vellum sentiment. Yay!

Scroll down to picture 2.

I ran it thru my Xyron machine and it was at the end of the roll which made the adhesive splotchy and it had cardboard from the roll stuck to the vellum. BOO! That's not the word I used. It was more like some F's, some SOB's, and a favorite one that I have to say way too often, Are you F-n kidding me? 

Anyway, what sucks about this whole thing, is I checked the roll before sending the vellum thru and everything looked good to go. Umm, not so much.

So, the next picture.

I sent this photo to Ali, along with 2 other other mess ups that will be posted in the near future and she calmed me down. Thank you Ali.

I looked in my stash, which you all know, it takes forever to go through your stash to find that one thing. Plus it makes a hurendous mess because you pull out of fun things that you forgot you had. SMH! 

So I finally found CM stickers that matched the colors of my layout. I used two of them. But most importantly, this circle went over the tear. Yay!

That is Mimi's (My precious MIL) handwriting. 

Side note: In the beginning of this project in 2014, she was helping me. She had just gone into an assisted living home and I was newly disabled. At that time I could still drive and pick her up to do things. It was good bonding time.

Anyway,

Chipboard grapes are by Paper Accents. I painted it with white Distress paint as the base and then I watercolored with distress ink. 

The last thing to this layout, I used

to create a little card for a pocket page but I ended up scrapping these photos instead of doing a pocket page.
