Pussy Cat Hello card

I made this card for a pet sympathy card and it looks more like a Halloween card. Oh well.
The purple corner dies are by Ultimate Creations. The hello die is by The Crafter’s Workshop. The cat is a stencil that I inked with orange pigment ink. Then I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I inked the paper and then I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist.
Thanks for stopping by.

4 Snow Globe Shaker Christmas Cards

The snow globe die cuts were cards that I cut apart. They came to me in the stash of the older woman that I was lucky enough to receive her Christmas card making supplies after she had to go to a nursing home.

The background of this card was made with distress ink and water and maybe some kind of spray/spritz. I dry embossed the red part with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and in an effort to make it look brown I continued to add distress oxide to it. Meh. The sentiment stamp is by Inkadinkado.

For this card, my background paper is by Carte Bella.  The sentiment is by Inkadinkado. The scene is made up of stamps from Stampendous.

For this card, my background paper is by.  The sentiment is by Inkadinkado. I love that name. The scene inside is made up of stamps by Stampendous.

The background of this card was made with a stencil by The Crafter’s Workshop, distress ink, and Glimmer Mist spray by Tattered Angels. The sentiment is by Hero Arts. The scene is made of stamps by Lawn Fawn that were colored in with Copic markers. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Manly Monday Big Blue Birthday Cake Card

I cut the cake out with my Cricut. The background was stenciled using distress ink and The Crafter’s Workshop 12x12 stencil. Then for whatever reason I covered part of the background with China Blue distress oxide. (It looks okay.)
I added Smooch ink to the flames of the candles. The card front panel is size 4x5.5. The card base was 4.5x5.5. I cut the front and then adhered a piece of blue cardstock on the inside of the inside of the card.
Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Yellow Shaped Clearly Besotted flower Cards

The Flower stamp set and matching dies are by Clearly Besotted

The sentiment is a die-cut by AC Moore called the Love Nicole collection

The die-cut base and the small white die-cut are unknown. The yellow is Spellbinders

The patterned paper is by Poppy Stamps. Rick Rack is from my stash

In the card below I used the same flower stamp set

The sentiment is from my stash

The die-cuts are by Sizzix (yellow) and Spellbinders (coral)

The patterned paper...I made my own background by following a "Forgotten Technique" on a YouTuber named Justine

The stencils are by The Crafter's Workshop for the large one

The smaller stencil is by Dollar tree. I love that it's a self-adhesive stencil.

These probably weren't the best two stencils to use together with the yellow and red Distress Oxide inks.

The Sisterhood of Crafters is to use a stencil. I used two.

These next couple of pictures show the yellow cards I made with the same floral Clearly Besotted stamp set.

Pool Pictures in Arizona 2011 Scrapbook Layout

I wanted to do a more creative layout that used some mixed media for my nephew's scrapbook because the layouts were all looking the same. Spice it up a little bit.

So, I used embossing paste and a stencil for the waves at the bottom. See my reaction below the photos.

The stencil is by The Crafters Workshop.
Embossing paste by Dreamweaver Stencils.
The colored powder, called Fx Metalic powder was used to make the paste green and blue.

The alphabet stamps are by Close to my Heart.

The vellum sentiment on the net is from Creative Memories.

The Cricut cuts:
>Large volleyball net
>Arizona
>Shorts (draw and cut)
and
>Goggles

The patterned paper is by Colorbok

Here's the background that I made. I hate it. I didn't use the powder correctly.
It's ugly but I used it because of all the time and effort I put into it.

To lessen the ugly background, I covered it with some die cuts. I love the die-cuts because they are so cute and appropriate but that made the layout too busy.

Here's the other side of the pool layout. It doesn't match at all and maybe that plays a part in why I dislike the pool page.
Some of the patterned paper is by Stampin Up.
The fireplace in the corner is a stamp (?) that I colored in with colored pencils.

I have to include my quote,

"It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be done"
Cindy Groh

I have a bunch of these world cards that I'm sending to a police station to boost their spirits. They need to know that there are people out there that appreciate what they do.

YooHoo-We're thinking of you Owl cards

I had all of these owl images just hanging around my craft room. Time to pull them out and use them for a good cause, sending them to senior citizens.
I used stamps by Lawn Fawn
Masking paper Inkadinkado to cover the owl and create a blue sky with distress ink.
The sentiment is by Cricut
There are some die- cuts by Spellbinders
The grass patterned paper is old from my stash.
I made the backgrounds using a stencil from The Crafters Workshop and Glimmer mist Sprays from Tattered Angels.
I was looking to see which one still worked. When you don't use them very often they get clogged up.

I used flock on this owl.

The die-cut for this card below is made with wallpaper samples.
