Christmas tree card with Mulberry Paper

This is a crazy card. The snowflake background paper is by Making Memories. The snowflakes are a flock sort of touch.
The blue background is a mulberry paper. I did a few things with it. First, I pulled the edges apart using water and a tool from Creative Memories. Second, I added small stars that I retrieved from a corner punch. Lastly, I sprayed the mulberry paper with a mixture that I made where I added perfect pearls into a water bottle.
And here's the last part about my card the tree. I used distress markers to color in the rubber area before stamping it down. Then I fussy cut the tree and adhered it to the mulberry paper with foam adhesive. Not pleasant or easy to do. Anyway,

Manly Monday Confetti Birthday Card

This is a square card and the confetti patterned paper by Accord Publishing was a 5 x 7. Therefore, I had to cut it down and make it mesh together to fit seamlessly. And I can honestly say that when I look at this picture, I can’t tell where that seam is.

The star punch is by Creative Memories and the paper is a glitter paper, but it’s almost waxy and it is by The Paper Studio

The wavy rectangle dies are by Stampendous. The sentiment die is by Scrapbooking Made Simple. The wonky shaped die, red cardstock die in the center, it is by Scrapbooking Made Simple.

Thanks for looking.

June calendar layout Dance Recital time

This is from my Mom’s calendar.

And this calendar is from my brother’s calendar.

The big thing about these layouts is the die cut dancers. I cut them out using my Cricut and the Decor and More cartridge.
The rest are stickers or scraps from various manufacturers. Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday heat embossed star, and a background made of scraps Card

Happy Fourth of July

The stamp is by Stampin Up and it was heat embossed with a blue glitter embossing powder. The sentiment is also from Stampin up. The tag and paper are unknown. Thanks for looking.
Thanks for looking.
A few links to patriotic cards.

American Flag

I also have This dragonfly card with the same scraps.

I made the card yesterday at the same time as this one. I thought it was interesting to see the two next to each other.
The dragonfly was cut using my Cricut from the image set called Spring Fling.
I layered it to make the wings lift up a little bit.
The patterned paper that is green is unknown but the blue is by Sunborn
So the blue had been part of a glue drip accident.
Therefore, I colored him with a flicking motion with a Crayola Brush Tip marker.
Then...I threw it in my drawer. So when I made this background from blue scraps of paper and I looked in the drawer and came across this dragonfly. So, they look okay together. I added a sentiment by Hampton Arts. Thanks for...Oh wait, there’s more...
Here are some other cards that I found when I put the word dragonfly in the search box. The cards are all different.

 Thanks so much for looking.

Grandma LaFrate's 65th Birthday party Scrapbook Layout-

The left page is a pocket sewn onto Creative Memories patterned paper and blue cardstock.
The front of the pull-out page protector is a reprint of the same picture in the front. I reprinted the photo after I annotated everybody's name on their body.
On the backside of the annotated photo is where I used a VERY old title and made a small family tree.
Some other things on the layout:
The Fastener on the left.
Red and blue swirly stickers by CM
Cricut cut-out of a large blue star out of Colorbok patterned paper.
The stamped border (blue lines) at the bottom is a Stampin Up wheel.
At the very bottom is a CM border that was pointy. I took a corner rounder to each point.
The Cricut font is Beef Cakes (lol)

On the right side, I used the same Coredinations cardstock. The patterned paper is by Colorbok. Same border s and star as the other side.
For some reason, I cut the title out of off-white color and I disliked it. So I colored on the tops of every letter with a Copic marker to match the blue on the left. I have a Cricut drawer and I have a baggy of these red diamonds. I was so happy to find them and be able to use one on my layout.

These layouts have been on my table for a while. I finally just sat down and did them. The next layout will be of Paul's mother. That is the last page of that book and the project. The lack of interest to go through a book that I just proudly finished has hurt my feelings. I don't think they don't want to look at what I've done, I think it's those memories of what the home life was like. I'm not sure what to say so I don't push it and I don't have hurt feelings that I once had...before things were revealed to me. Thanks for looking.

Real quick I want to tell you about this card since today marks 20 years since 911.

The die-cuts: scappled circles in red by Spellbinders and the inside white one is by Gina Marie, It was a quit out of an upcoming card. (Oops. I keep falling asleep.)

The ribbon in the center is the front of a pin. I had hubby get rid of the backing and I adhered it to the die-cut.

A card for a Young Lady with a blue star background

I made this for a young lady in the family and then forgot to send it.

The yellow paper was dry embossed with a Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder. I inked it lightly with olive green distress ink.

The little girl image is a digital stamp. I would have to look way into the deepest part of my computer to find out the artist.
I colored her in with Copic markers

The brad is by Creative Imagination.

The die-cut stars are cut out with Quickutz

The patterned paper is by Studio G

Manly Monday Layered Birthday Stars

My card today features a couple of star dies that I bought off eBay. They have a stitched edge and cut beautifully. I started with a white card base where I've stamped a Fiskars border stamp on top and bottom with brown ink. The patterned paper is by Creative Memories and I layered it on top of it brown cardstock, blue cardstock, a white star followed by a blue star. The sentiment is a Fiskars stamp and the small star die cut is by Lawn Fawn.

Thanks for stopping by.

Star Stenciled in Yellow Chalk for Chalk Ah Lot challenge

I made this next card for the challenge at Chalk Ah Lot. The challenge is to use a stencil with chalk. My card below uses Special Day Stamp by Stamp N Plus and Dandy powdered chalk with paint also by Stamp N Plus.

I mixed the powdered chalk with the paint and applied it to the stenciled area with a cosmetic wedge. It's a little light in places but I kind of liked it that way. The stencil is by The Crafter's Workshop. With the leftover chalk/paint mixture I covered the piece of cardstock that is behind the star panel.

The patterned paper is by Pink Paislee and I used a Martha Stewart punch on the edges. The shear ribbon is by Pebbles and the star brad is unknown. I stamped the sentiment on the vellum and heat-embossed it in black. After it cooled I die cut it out with a Spellbinders die.

Thanks for looking.
