Manly Monday Deep Red Stamps Woodgrain

I made these cards using the Deep ReD stamps
I heat embossed the weathered wall stamp. I had to stamp it twice to fit on the cardstock. I used my MISTI and I was successful. I used Peerless Watercolors to color in the cornucopia.
They are so messy because I kept falling asleep while painting these. I would wake up and the paintbrush would be in the wrong spot for that color or on the outside of the image. I used paper towels to get rid of the access but it didn't always save the image. Oh well. I think they still look nice...from a distance. lol

The red border and brown border sticker are by Creative Memories and Yellow unknown.

The border die is by Tim Holtz

This is the size of the weathered wall stamp and the size of the cardstock. You can tell that the MISTI really came through for me when it came to perfectly lining up the image.

Thank you for looking.
Here are a few previous posts that go along with these two.

Cornucopia Happy Thanksgiving card

The girls from my old design team at Stamp N Plus got together again this month to make a Thanksgiving Day card.
I colored it in using Ranger Distress Markers and a water pen from Stampin Up. The watercolor paper is by Strathmore and can be purchased at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. The pattern paper is by American Crafts (polka dot) and Graphic 45 (green). The buttons and ribbon are unknown.

Stop by the BLOG and check out what the other ladies created.
Thanks for looking.

Thanksgiving Day Cricut Cornucopia card

I am very thankful for my little family. My husband is so amazing and gives me unconditional love every day. My baby girl is such a joy to have around. I can't imagine life without her. With all that being said I have a Thanksgiving day card to share today. I made the cornucopia and leaf with my Cricut's Autumn Celebrations cartridge. The sentiment stamp is by Stampin Up and it's embossed with Ranger embossing powder. The background stamp is by Anne Griffins with ink and Perfect Pearls by Ranger Industries. I used green Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels on the green cardstock behind the sentiment. Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow with a new tutorial.
