Floral Friday Sunflower Stamp

The stamp is by Stampendous. The single die cut by Spellbinders. The stamp was inked with multiple small ink cubes to give the image multiple colors. After I ran the die cut through the machine I inked the inside with green distress ink. This card base is very flimsy and not strong enough to hold anything more than the one die cut. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Floral Friday Sunflower card

This same sunflower stamp will also be on the card for Floral Friday next week. I have four of the sunflowers colored in, and I want to make them into cards.
The stamp is by Stampendous and was colored in with Copic markers. I used a Spellbinders die cut to cut out the image. I inked the paper with distress ink while the paper was still on the inside of the die. I taped the image onto a piece of brown cardstock, but the image was lost. So, I went around the edges with a white gel pen. The patterned paper is by Accord Publishing.
Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Manly Monday Zombie sending hugs Card

The card above needed something…

So as you can see I started with one card and decided to go with my gut and add a zombie. Whenever in doubt add a zombie. What’s happening with me? Craft Roulette is happening to me. Mary says so many cards would not have been made if it wasn’t for Craft Roulette. The parameters are:
Make a card for a teacher-my card went to a teacher friend who has cat scratch fever.
Color-Tartan
Spring or fall scene-fall scene
Create a wrap- My fabric is ironed on and wrapped around to the back.

The red pattern is fabric and the yellow paper is old. I don’t have a clue by whom. The sentiment is an after-market set from Mercari. One of the words is spelled wrong.
Anyway, the fence die cut is unknown. I layered up 3 of the fence die cuts on top of each other for some dimension that I wouldn’t have been able to do with foam tape. This old tree die cut was cut out with my Cricut. It was out of a patterned paper so I inked it brown. I colored it with some Copic markers. The zombie stamp is from Prickly Pear. Thanks for looking. Have a great week.

Fall Colors with leafy dry embossed background card

I found this beautiful background in “the drawer”. It’s dry embossed with a Darice embossing folder. I covered the background with Distress Oxide and sprayed it with Dylusions Shimmer Spray. I wrapped the rust-colored ribbon down the center of the embossed background and secured it around the backside. Then on top of the ribbon is a piece of patterned paper by The Paper Studio. I used my Cricut to cut out the sentiment. The leaves and the die cut in the center are by Spellbinders. Thanks for looking.

I’m entering Crafty Cats anything goes birthdays.

The Oops to a Butterfly to a Cover-up to a Fall card

This background was a distress oxide disaster. I tried to cover it by using darker distressed inks and this butterfly stencil. Yuck!
I wasn't sure what to do with it. So it sat in a bin of other misfit cards. But then...

I added another stencil with even darker distress ink and it covered the butterfly

Then I added these squares and the sentiment.

What do you think? I think it was a good cover-up. Thanks for looking

Unique background Fall colors card

My card was created using one distress ink and a Post-It note. The leaves are die-cuts from my Cricut and one is a Marvy Punch.

This is how I finished it.

I'm super tired of my phone camera and how the colors are not true to the card.

Apples made on my Cricut in my fall card

Today’s card was made using inspiration from my Snow White card. I had just been coloring in the images when I found all of the pieces of this card. The pieces were in my room just waiting for each other to come together as one. Ta-Da!

The apple is a Cricut cut. I inked the outside edges with distress oxide inks.
Background stamp by Stampin Up.
Wood patterned paper by Cosmo Cricket.

Then I hid the bite of the apple with a loving sentiment stamp to use as an anniversary card.

Here are some other apple die cuts.

Manly Monday Picture Perfect Card.

I made this card with leftover pieces that I found and brought together. The sunshine rays in the background are a stencil. The trees are the negative of a tree die cut by Gina Marie. The frame is a negative of a die cut rectangle. All of those things have been inked with distress ink. The washi tape is by We R Memory Keepers.

I tried to color the dimensional adhesive foam behind the layers with my Copic markers.

Happy Fall Pumpkin

The pumpkin in a barrel stamp is no longer available. Many years ago (2012 is my guess) I colored these images in with paint and powdered chalk.
Happy Fall is unknown.

The patterned papers from Left to Right:

Provo Craft
K and Co.

For this second card, I stamped the background with some small leaf stamps and Antique Linen Distress ink. Everything was inked with distress ink. The sentiment was white heat embossed. The pumpkin and background stamps and powdered chalk are by a company no longer in business.

I've had these wreath die-cuts in my stash for years. It was time to take an afternoon and put them onto cards. I made the sentiments with my Cricut using the draw and cut feature. Cousins Layout with a Banner

When it comes to blogging, I'm putting too much pressure on myself. I have 70+ drafts in my blogger account that I can post but haven't because I haven't completed the written portion where I talk about the project.
The pictures are there but for most, that's it. Therefore, for the next little while, I will be chatting less in order to post more. I may not even give a supply list. Anyway, this was a calendar layout that I repurposed to make a 2-page layout for my nephew's graduation scrapbook. The title banner has a little bit to it. The pennants were cut out using Cricut, then sprayed with Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels and inked with distress ink. Finally, the alphabet letter stickers are by Making Memories. The years, the left side is a stickers by SRM and the right side is a die-cut that I welded the white cardstock 2010 together using the font Don Juan and my Cricut. The patterned paper on the left is by Stampin Up and the paper on the right is by Imaginisice. On the left side layout there is a strip of words between the two pictures that is from Imaginisce.
<ClicK> Have you ever thought, why did they call their company Tattered Angels, SRM- what does that stand for, Lawn Fawn, Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, Bug-a-Boo stamps, Echo Park, Spellbinders, studio Calico, Sizzix, Bazzill. I could go on. But I won’t. If you think of other company names please leave in the comments OR if you know why or where do these companies come from leave me a comment. I have three examples of company names that I can’t understand.

So blessed Fall colors Card

Today I have a fall-type card. This card just didn't make it to the blog in the fall. So here it is now. 😀

The kraft cardstock background has been stamped with a canvas background stamp by Stampin Up using yellow-colored Distress Oxide. I'm not a huge fan of distress oxides. However, the color and type of ink were just what I needed for the background.

The sentiment is by Close to my Heart. I put a dimensional adhesive square under the sentiment in the center. The whole piece of the sentiment was too long for the orange paper and I didn't want to cut it because the yellow mat around the sentiment had equal edges...well equal enough for me

Next, I had left-over yellow leaves that were cut with my Cricut and I tried the best I could to tone down those bright yellow leaves with 2 different distress oxide ink. MEH. Good enough because the yellow in the leaves blend well with the sentiment's yellow mat.

The oak leaves are from a Creative Memories punch.

I like the card. It's pretty.
I'm glad I was able to use the oxide inks and come out with a positive experience.
Side Note:
This sentiment by Close to my Heart was stamped at a crop 14 or more years ago. I'm finally making them into cards. If I can find them, I will post links to other cards using the stamps in this set.
