The background stamp is by Fiskars with Versa Mark ink and clear embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. The flower stamp is a simple one by Stampin Up in a light pink pigment ink by Colorbox. Sit Back and Relax

Sassy Studio Designs has a new challenge this week and it is anything goes. I used this bath tub Sassy, which is on sale this week for $1, to create this card. I printed her out onto Cryogen cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Then I die cut it out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with Ranger distress ink. The patterned paper is by Cloud 9 Designs and blue cardstock by Recollections. I heat embossed the sentiment onto Paper Reflections blue vellum and die cut with a Sizzix die. The sit back stamp is by Papertry Ink and the relax stamp by Unity Stamp Co. I had to mask off parts to get it to say what I wanted it to. The ink is by Versa Mark and the embossing powder by Ranger, platinum is the color.

God is Love Card

Today's card is probably the only love card I will post in this lovely season. The jar stamp is by Inkadinkado and the sentiment by Stampin Up with Hero Arts black ink. The die cuts in my card are all by Lawn Fawn, ribbon by Offray, cardstock by Recollections, patterned paper for the hearts and stars by Scenic Route and the embossed paper was a prize and therefore I don't know the manufacturer.

Thanks for looking.

Floral Mosaic Card

I have a Deep Red Stamps card to share today. I stamped the Floral Mosaic stamp with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger silver sparkle embossing powder. Then I colored it in with Peerless water colors and fussy cut it out. I used watercolor paper by Ranger for the image. The blue cardstocks are by Recollections. The image is inside negative die cuts by Spellbinders. The ribbon was from my stash, I think from Michael's and the sentiment sticker is vellum by K and Co which is on white cardstock.

Blue Horse cards

I have two horse cards to share with you that are similar in ways and a little different in other ways.

Similar: 1. I used the same blue barn wood patterned paper that I don't know who the manufacturer is because it was part of a prize from Simon Says Stamp. 2. The size of these cards is the same with a 4 x 5 7/8. 3. The horse stamps were both heat embossed using Versa Mark ink and Ranger's platinum embossing powder. 4. They both use a fence border punch in their designs. 5. These two cards both use a sentiment die cut that was a prototype I was lucky enough to try out on my Cuttlebug and those die cuts have both been inked on the inside with Ranger's distress ink. 6. The cards both have the same Creative Memories border sticker covering the seam between the fence and the grey cardstock. 7. Last one, the images on these cards have been die cut with a scalloped edge die cut.

Difference: 1. Both cards use grey cardstock but the top is by Coredinations and the bottom by Recollections. 2. The card orientation is opposite. 3. The horse stamps are different but from the same Inkadinkado stamp set. 4. The fence border punches are different and I'm not sure of their manufacturer because they were part of a swap a long time ago. 5. The sentiment die cut are different colors with the blue cardstock by Color-Aid and the grey cardstock by Stampin Up. The sentiment is made up of letter stamps by Lawn Fawn. 6. The top card doesn't use black cardstock and the bottom card does. 7. The die cut in the top card is by Sizzix and the bottom is by Spellbinders. With the bottom die cut I inked on the inside with Ranger's distress ink. 7. The bottom card also has a die cut behind the image and it was cut out using my Cricut.

Manly Monday World Blueprint sketch card

UPDATED 9-12-21
To put my card on top

So I really love these Tim Holtz blueprint stamps for masculine cards. I think they are fun and aren't frilly or cutesy like a lot of images are. Don't get me wrong I LOVE that cutesy stuff but I just don't think the guys in my life would appreciate them. So I often turn to this stamp set for Manly Monday.

I stamped the Tim Holtz world stamp onto Ranger watercolor cardstock with Hero Arts black ink. Then I colored it in with distress markers and water also by Ranger. Then I die cut the image out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside of the cardstock while it was still in the die. I matted the image onto Die Cuts with a View green cardstock with the edges rounded to match the die-cut. The brown card base is by Coredinations and the blue cardstock is by Bazzill. The washi tape on the left side is by We R Memory Keepers and the sentiment sticker is by Pebbles.

Christmas Cards all Year Round

This month at Christmas Cards all Year Round the challenge is to use red and white on your Christmas cards.

I created this simple card with beautiful patterned papers by Teresa Collins. They are stunning enough that I didn;t want to cover them up with a bunch of embellishments. I didn't even stamp on this card. I must be ill. lol. The card base is by Recollections, white flower by Imaginisce, red poinsettia by Prima and the gem in the center by Forever in Time.

So join me at the challenge blog in 2015 making your Christmas cards early.

Manly Monday Saw

My card today uses stamps by Papertrey Ink. I used the strip of bolts as my background pattern by stamping them over and over again in rows. The I adhered that white cardstock to a grey card base top folding card. The grey frame and the die cut the sentiment are cut out using my Cricut. I matted the frame with some black cardstock also by Recollections. The saw stamp was stamped with Hero Arts Charcoal ink and die cut out using its matching die. Then I stamped the sentiment.

Happy Birthday Tree Branch

I have a birthday card to share today. The background stamp and tree branch stamps are by Hero Arts. The background is stamped in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with white Stampendous embossing powder. The tree is stamped in Stampin Up brown and colored in with Distress Markers by Ranger. The sentiment is by Just Rite in the same brown ink as the tree branch.

The green ribbon is from my mom's stash, so no manufacturer but the orange baker's twine is by Jillibean Soup. The blue cardstock and white card base are by Recollections and the white strip for the sentiment is Neenah Solar White. After I colored the tree branch I die cut it out with a Spellbinders scalloped oval die.

That's all for today. Thanks for looking.

It's Your Day

Today's card is nice and simple with a touch of feminine charm. The flower stamp is Stampendous and I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder on Cryogen cardstock. Then I colored it in with Copic markers and generously sprayed it with water mixed with Perfect Pearls to give it that special sparkle. I fussy cut the flower out and layered it on top of two different Spellbinders dies. The white cardstock is by Recollections and the pink is by Color-Aid. The patterned paper is by Stampin Up and the seam is covered by two ribbons by Fiskars. The butterfly punch is from my stash which I think it's a Martha Stewart punch that I borrowed from someone at a crop. I covered the butterfly with a gold clear Wink of Stella pen to make it shimmery.

Manly Monday Journey

Hey everyone! It's still Monday where I am so I'm trying to get this out for you all to look see at the fun manly makes by 8 lovely ladies willing to share their talent here on Cre8iveCindy. Click on the blog name to be directed to the masculine card and be sure to leave them some love.

What a great collection of masculine cards. Thanks ladies.

My card uses a map stamp by Stampin Up which I white heat embossed on Ranger's distress watercolor paper. I added distress ink to the land in brown hues and the sea in blue hues. The blue cardstock is by Bazzill and I stamped a Stampin Up sentiment on it but I changed it ever so slightly. At the end of You I wrote a R to make it Your and the little charm thingy says journey. One of the ladies at church was looking for something like this for someone heading out on a mission trip.
