Chalk Ah Lot Poinsettia Card

I made this card for "A Holiday with Chalk" challenge at Chalk Ah Lot. My cardstock both white and red are by Recollections. The sentiment is a rub-on that is very old but the star is a puffy sticker by Martha Stewart, Patterned paper is by Little Yellow Bicycle, and the white ribbon in the center is by Offray.

For my image I applied white embossing paste onto the Large Poinsettia stencil by Dreamweaver Stencils and let it dry completely. The next day I used my first used an old makeup brush to apply Stamp N Plus Silver {Glitzy} powdered chalk to the center of the flower. It was at that point I realized that there was still some blush on the brush. {Ugh-Are you kidding me?} So I applied Stardust powdered chalk to the whole poinsettia with my finger to maybe cover up the blush {yea right} and to give it some major sparkle. Then I took my Zig glue pen and applied glue to the inside of the flower followed by sprinkling white glitter over top. After shaking off the excess glitter, I was really happy with how it looked and applied a little bit more.

Thanks for looking.
