Wednesday Fairy card

Running a little behind today with my post. I have a very full plate at the moment and am trying to find balance. It will come but it would help to prioritize my events and decide what needs to get done first. It's funny how I will have nothing going on for like a month and then the next month I'm going every which way. So I made this card for a DT commitment but the theme and sponsor has changed so I'm posting it today. I have quite a few photos to show you. The first one is the card opens up and down instead of side to side and also the Hero Arts background stamp that I heat embossed onto the pink cardstock.

This second one shows the image by Beary Dust Designs, which I colored in with distressing inks sprayed with Perfect Pearls and water. The skin is not ideal but I figured it's a fairy and can be an off skin tone.

This one shows that using the Perfect Pearls with the water really makes the fairy sparkle.

For this photo I wanted to show you how I took the light pink lace and weaved purple floss by Karen Foster into it on the top and bottom edges. I just thought it made the lace stand out against the pink paper. The little flowers are brads that anchor the lace to the pink cardstock and I placed purple pearls by Recollections in the centers.

This last picture shows the inside of the card. I'm not usually one to do anything fancy on the inside but the kraft colored tag on the same color cardstock/card base just didn't work for me. The die I used is by Spellbinders and the scallop off white punch is by EK Success.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my fairy card.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Anything Goes challenge(TU#51)-Diecuts or punches
