Anniversary card

I think all my cards this week have heat embossing on them. It's crazy how I go through streaks. On Recollections white cardstock I stamped a Hero Arts background stamp with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I inked the entire piece of cardstock with distress ink, I think Tattered Rose, until all the white was gone. It's at this point my husband would say "If you wanted the cardstock to be pink then why not start with pink instead of white?" I would reply something about how you don't get the same affect on my next step; next spray the cardstock with water mixed with Perfect Pearls. It softens the distress ink and gives tiny little dots all over the stamped image cardstock. I tied some Offray ribbon around the embossed panel and into a bow. The love die cut is by Stampin Up. I used some glitter paper in the background but I'm not sure who it is made by.

Thanks for looking.
