50th Anniversary card

I made a 50th anniversary card to share today. The gold background paper is a recycled back of a photo frame thing. It seems like a lot of older photos are in those semi cardboard folders that usually have some texture on the outside and have a frame on the inside. Behind the frame of one folder was a thick gold cardstock that I pulled it out and used it on this card.

The middle strip of paper is vellum and the design is made of velvet (Provo Craft). I die cut the 50th using my Cricut and the 50 and th are different fonts. I don't think you can tell but it just worked out that I liked the way the number looked but couldn't get the th of that font to work. The die cuts have been brushed with gold Perfect Pearls (Ranger) and adhered to this doily-like die cut (Martha Stewart). The word anniversary is a stamp from my stash and the cake brad too.

Thanks for looking.
