Stencil Background Butterfly card

I made this card using a stencil by Scrapbooking Made Simple and distress inks. The butterflies are dies by Poppystampss. Then I added small sequins to the the body of the butterfly. They are by Fun Stampers Journey. The sentiment die is by Die-Versions. Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Altered Die cut card

The circular floral design is originally a heart. I stretched it out to go around the circle. You could call it a wreath. So now that I told you it was originally a heart can you see the heart? You don’t always have to use a die for its sole purpose.
The floral die is by Sizzix and the Celebrate die is by Crafters Companion. The little heart die cuts are from my stash.
The brown circle die is from 2008 when my Mom and I went to the Mega Meet in Novi, MI. We received a goodie bag from one of our classes and they were inside of it. It has a texture to it that reminds me of the old fold out cards. You would open the card and the shape inside of it would fan open. I’ll have to find out what the name of it.
The pattern paper is older than the circle die cut. I would put it at 2005 and it is by Provo Craft. Using up my stash.

ADDED IN APRIL:
This card uses the same patterned paper.

The middle element was saved from  a store bought card.

Floral Friday Heart Border Celebrate card

This is the first card I made overlapping the heart stamp border. It goes with the other anniversary cards. But I don’t love this version of the card as much as the others. It’s a nice card for someone. It’s just not my favorite.
The side panels are from a store-bought card. The sentiment die cut is by Sizzix. The heart rhinestones, which I don’t care for, are by The Paper Studio. Embellishing cards is awkward for me. It never looks…right. Anyway, the ink that I used on the heart stamp is by Stampin Up.

Pastel Butterfly Cards

I white heat embossed the butterflies and colored them in with Copic markers. Butterflies and sentiment stamps are by Stampendous.
I used the same patterned paper as my first layer. Even though it's mostly covered up it pulls out the little bit of color in the butterflies. The patterned paper pad is from Hobby Lobby. (I should use it more).

The diagonal design border on this second card is washi tape by 3M. It's a pain to get off the roll because it's fragile and the stickiness isn't consistent. I almost had it to the size I wanted and it ripped. Oh, Come on!!
The lace is from Scrapbooking Made Simple, the oval die cut is by Spellbinders, and the celebrate die is by Couture Creations.

A Fruity Drink with an Umbrella card

The scalloped half circle is paper by Deja Views. I cut it out with my Cricut. The light blue patterned paper in the center is by Colorbok. The sentiment is by Die Versions and it’s cut out of polka dot patterned paper by Papertrey Ink. The drink is a sticker from a dollar bin at Michael’s. Stickers get a bad rap in the card making world. And they’re not terrible if you use them well.

Bright colors make up this Balloon Celebrate card

I recycled the patterned paper from a card. The cardstock is from my stash. The "celebrate" and the "yay" are stickers. The balloon is brad and I added black floss. A busy card but I was happy to use up an old sheet of stickers.
Thanks for looking.

Celebrate Cream and Green Hand Stamped background card

The card base was stamped with a leaf stamp and then if you look closely at the edges there's a straight line with swirls on it. Pretty. It would be nice if I knew who made that and the leaf stamp. The flowers are the cutouts of a border punch from Fiskars. The sentiment is a diecut by Crafter's Companion. Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Background Die Cut Cards

The pretty floral die-cut for my cards today is by Sizzix.

For the Best wishes card, I sprayed the white die cut wish Dylusions shimmer spray. The sentiment is a Cricut cut. It has a shadow patterned paper houndstooth. The epoxy stickers are by Cloud 9 (Fiskars).

The second card uses the same die but this time I colored in the pattern with Copic markers. I then added some Stickles, which I don't love but oh well. The stamped sentiment by Fiskars is on a Spellbinders die cut. The oval ring is by Creative Memories.

Let's Celebrate with Kenny K for the Chalk Ah Lot Café

Happy Sunday. I'm back again with the Chalk Ah Lot challenge of anything goes with chalk sponsored by Kenny K. I am using the Jasmine digi for my card. I printed her on watercolor paper by Ranger and colored her in with distress ink and a water pen. I then filled the glasses in with Glossy Accents which is also by Ranger. After all that business I die cut her out using a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink. The nice thing about this label 4 die is that there is a small and a large set. I like to mat the die with a smaller outside frame than the regular label dies to have. I'm not sure if it is a 1/8 or a 1/4 but it is definitely smaller than say label 1 from die to die.

My chalk is in the background. This new-to-me Darice embossing folder is quickly becoming my favorite and I had some leftover powdered chalk mixed with paint and decided to try it on the folder. I took a paintbrush and applied the mixture to one side of the folder then ran it through my Cuttlebug. I sprayed it with a little water mixed with Perfect Pearls and let it dry. I used watercolor paper by Strathmore and then the black cardstock is by Recollections.

The sentiment is by Paper Smooches and I inked the edges with distress ink.

Hop on over to Chalk Ah Lot and link up your chalk project today.
