Manly Monday Musical Christmas Easel Card

I made this card for my nephew and his roommate who are at Western Michigan University and are both in the music program. I was inspired by the Craft Roulette parameters:
Project-square
Color- nest
Element-ladder
Random-add a cat
Obviously a square. The tan colors look like a nest. The bow on the horn looks like cat ears. And then on the inside of the card, there is patterned paper that has a keyboard that one could say looks like a ladder.
The patterned paper on the front is by Me and My Big Ideas. black die cut is by Spellbinders and the other is by Design Objectives. The DO die cut is out of a wallpaper sample.
Check out Craft Roulette. It sure is fun and such a great challenge.

Twisted Easel Burgundy Valentine's Day cards

My friend and I made twisted easel cards for a few senior centers. One of them was where my mom lives. She didn't The seniors were so happy and surprised by our cards. We passed them out individually and showed them how they stand up-a couple of times.
I had 13 posts of these cards and decided to spare you the agony of seeing the same card in different colors. This is my darker red bunch of cards. I do not know all of the supplies manufacturers Sometimes I wonder if company names are important since my supplies are old and I don't have many views to my posts. Oh well. Right?

Ebay heart die made red from white cardstock using Distress Oxide Fired Brick. Background heart paper by K and Co and inside heart is Bazzill. Hugs sticker by Sticko EK Success.

Heart stamp old one by Stampin Up. die cuts behind it by Spellbinders (grey, Dahlia) and Sizzix using burgundy polka dot pp by Papertrey Ink. Background paper is a 4x4 paper pad by Stamp your Art called diVine

Label by Sizzix. Stamps: TPC Studio Company and Stampin Up (Scallop punch by SU too). Chipboard heart unknown (Maybe Making Memories). Embossing folder: Crafter's Companion.
The pink heart was a steampunk sticker from the dollar tree. I inked with Versa Mark and heat embossed it with Stampendous embossing powder-over and over again. In hindsight, I wish I would have taken a before and after picture.

Spellbinders die cut. Red polka dot washi tape. Glitter tape from Dollar Tree. Love is a digital stamp.

I used scallop decorative scissors for the white and red trim.

Snow Queen Sassy Twisted Easel card

Sassy Studio Design is sponsoring the challenge at Outlawz and the challenge theme is twisted easel card. I'm using Snow Queen Sassy for my little card and a tutorial by Splitcoast Stampers.

I printed the image out onto Strathmore watercolor paper and colored her in with distress inks mixed with water and Perfect Pearls. Her cape is colored in with Stardust powdered chalk mixed with white acrylic paint, both by Stamp N Plus. I die cut the image out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink and an ink blending tool.

The shape of the card is another die cut by Spellbinders using Bazzill turquoise cardstock and then the white cardstock is by Recollections. The Happy Birthday is a sticker but I don't have a manufacturer listed anywhere on the sticker pack, sorry. {I think I bought it at the outlet store for Notions which is in Grand Rapids-20 minutes south of where I live, and stuff that is there to purchase sometimes has damaged packaging and therefore they put it out for a discounted price.} The blue glittery snowflakes are die cuts using my Cricut and then applying Martha Stewart blue glitter to them. The snowflake brads are by Oriental Trading Co and they are fuzzy to the touch.

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #99

This week at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge the challenge is to make an easel card. You can find instructions on how to make an easel card HERE. They are not that hard to make and are very fun to look at. You should give it a try.
We were sponsored by Fred She Said. They have the most beautiful images. Check them out.
For my card I used distressing inks to color in my bird and flowers. I used watercolor paper by Hobby Lobby and then used a Spellbinders die to cut out the flowers. I embossed it as well. The bird I fussy cut it after painting it.
The yellow paper is by CGull. I used a Hero Arts background stamp and yellow ink by CTMH to give it a little pattern but not too much that would take away from the digi's.
The pink carstock is by Recollections and the card base is by Halcraft. The sentiment is a SRM sticker.
Thanks for looking.
