Floral Friday Spring Flowers sentiment

I apologize for the poor quality of the picture. I hadn’t taken it myself, but I wanted to send it to my stepmom. Consequently, I snapped the photo in my kitchen on a gloomy, cold day.

The patterned paper is by Jillibean Soup. The stamp is by Couture Creations. I colored it in with Copic markers. I’m not sure what happened but one flower was cut off. Hmm. The sentiment is unknown. I love the rest of it. On the inside it says: “ Spring is in the air and your birthday is too”. I think it fits the image perfectly. I added some sequins from Fun Journeys Stampers. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Upside Down Birthday card

I usually do a card with a front panel and then attach it to a card base. I even have card bases already stamped with the inside sentiment. Well, I must not have been paying attention and put it upside down.
And it's going to stay that way. Same old birthday stamp set by Stampin Up. Thanks for looking.

The Value of an idea Card

This sentiment is a great lead-in to a belated birthday card. The idea is to send the card on time.
I find it funny that recently I used ribbon on a card and now ribbon has been on a bunch of my cards.
The centerpiece of the card is an ATC that I give credit to in the picture below.
I stamped the background with Close to My Heart stamps. The ribbon is by Offray and the dots are by Gina Marie.

Below is the ATC designer.

Dragonfly Birthday card

The dragonfly stamp is from Clear Dollar Stamps. I inked the stamp with distress markers before stamping it onto the Manking Memories patterned paper. I glued it to this yellow circle that reminds me of chipboard. Card base by Stampin Up. The patterned paper in back is by Bazzill. The squares were on the desk and got shoved into their current position. I found these Jolee's die cuts that are made to be hats but this is how I used them. It works.

Thanks for looking.

Anna is turning 1

I had the basics for this card from a card I sent to Paul's grandma. She kept every card I sent her. All I did different is add Anna's name and the 1 is a Cricut cut and the st were stickers by Sticko. Border punch by Martha Stewart. I wonder if this card is on my blog? When I have free time I'll take a look.

Thanks for looking

Yellow Flower Birthday Cards

This first is a birthday card that was previously posted and can see it HERE. I altered this card because the sentiment was adhered with foam squares that started to cave in and bent the cardstock. The new sentiment is by TPC Studio.

This card was published as a Mother's Day card. The background is a small Fiskars stamp that I stamped multiple times with Colorbox chalk ink. The flower closest to the base is a Sizzix die painted with Scattered Straw crackle paint by Ranger. On top of that is a Stampin' Up punch and on top of that is a Sasafrass sticker. The sentiment stamp is  by......idk but I do know that the label it's on is by Martha Stewart.

Thanks so much for looking.

Birthday Wishes

My card today has polka dot patterned paper that I stamped with a Hero Arts background stamp with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with Stamp N Stuff glitter embossing powder. {My husband saw the card and said it was too busy but I say whatever to him} The bird image is also by Hero Arts and I stamped him in Hero Arts black ink and colored him in with distress markers and a water pen both by Ranger. The sentiment stamp is by Stampin Up which is stamped onto a Papertrey Ink die cut and layered onto two different Spellbinders dies.

Thanks for looking at my card.

Rainbow Birthday

I'm not really one for rainbows but I had all these different color embossing powders by Stamp N Plus and I wanted to give them a try. The background stamps are by Anna Griffin but they are small for backgrounds and I wanted to test them out each using it's own embossing powder color. I did spray them with water and Perfect Pearls after adhering them onto some black patterned paper. The sentiment stamp is by Stampendous in Hero Arts black ink. The circle punch is by Creative Memories with the brad by Eyelet Outlet. I used Versa Mark ink for the embossing.

Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday

I have a birthday card to share today. I love this color combo and will definitely use it again. The background patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye and the gingham is by Stampin Up {I think}. The turquoise cardstock is from Hobby Lobby and the gray cardstock is by Sunborn. I die cut the turquoise flower uses a Quickutz {I think} die cut.

The orange flower is a stamp by Stampin Up. I stamped it onto Cryogen cardstock using Memento Ink and colored it in with Copic Markers. Then I punched the die cut out using a SU punch that matches the flower shape.

The sentiment stamp is by Imaginisce that I stamped onto gray cardstock with Hero Arts black ink.

Kind of plain and simple today. Thanks for stopping by.
