Christmas cards that I wasn’t able to post in Dec 2020

I really like these two cards but I wasn’t able to get a very good picture of them. The wording seasons greetings is a large probably would be best for a slimline card and so I had to get creative on how to make it work for my 4x5.5 size cards.

I really like this blue card because of the eyelets and the gold string by Martha Stewart. They really give it a different look than what we would normally see him and I think that I will be doing that again.

The next card, the dove stamp is by Deep Red stamps
I have it stamped onto cardstock by Forever in Time. Then I used a die I bought on eBay to cut out the dove and cut the next size up in brown cardstock. The patterned paper by Bo Bunny.

These sentiments came off the following store-bought cards,

These are the stickers that I used and they are very old.

Manly Monday Merry and Bright Cards

Christmas Cards with black ribbon on top of every other white stripe. My friend said it looked masculine and therefore, I decided to make it today's card (s). I put eyelets in the tags that I can hand cut out of the sentiment sheet from the same paper pad. I had cut off the bottom of this tag because it had the words to and from on it. In order to continue the look of a chalkboard, I would use a white pen around the edges.

Manly Monday Joe's 40th birthday card with Eyelets

The concept was good the execution was not so good. I really don't want to talk about this card because it took forever and it turned out so juvenile. I can't say I will do it again but can't is a strong word and I do have a few other ideas I want to try using my eyelets.
The sentiment stamp is by Paper Smooches.
The eyelets are from my stash.
I like the next picture with the added
center to the zero.

The paper tore at the VERY LAST minute. I didn't want to try and "fix it" and risk making it worse. UGH!

Here's the inside sentiment accompanied by a massive amount of 40's sequins.

Happy Holidays metal sentiment Card

I made a Christmas card. The tree stamp is an oldie by Stampin' Up and colored in with Copic markers. The star on top is an eyelet. The background patterned paper is an oldie by Provo Craft. The green layer behind the tree is cardstock from my stash and then the next layer is a sticker that I've been trying to use up.
The sentiment is metal and engraved with happy holidays. It is from Making Memories. The tag that it is under is by My Mind's Eye. The silver paper circle punch is by Creative Memories. The brad inside the circle is from my stash.

Thanks for looking.
This card also uses the same metal sentiment

Red Crossing Ribbon with Eyelets Card

So what do you think...could I use this design to represent stitches from surgery and send as a get well card??
It would need something else to tie that together because right now it looks like a corset or maybe shoelaces.

Anyway,
The background stamp is by Stampin Up.
It was heat embossed with clear embossing powder and inked with red distress ink.

The eyelets are by Making Memories and the ribbon is from Michael's.

The paper underneath the ribbon was scrap paper that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist  by Tattered Angels.

I could not get these pieces to lay flat on the card. It drove me nuts but I had to move on.

These were the pieces I used to make this card.

Here is a  close up of the glimmer mist and the back side of the ribbon and eyelet piece of paper.

Yellow Butterfly tag on Red patterned paper background card

My card today could be used for any occasion.

The butterfly stamp is by Stampin Up.
I colored it in with Copic and cut it out close to the edge to include some white around the image.

The yellow tag die-cut was cut out with my Cricut. The tag is set with a large eyelet from my Mom’s stash.
The off-white ribbon is by Offray.

The patterned paper is by October Afternoon
I heavily inked it with yellow distress ink. The spaces in the patterned paper that are in between the red were off-white and I wanted the paper to match my butterfly's tag.

⦁Yellow distress ink to the rescue.
There is a bit of red ink blended into the edges.
The ribbon in the center is by...hmmm...my guess is Doodlebug.

1963 All Green Pocket Pages Scrapbooking

I was typing up this blog post and it occurred to me that there is no date on this layout.
That won’t be a problem with all of the open space. Maybe I subconsciously left those areas blank.

The metal circles are by Stampin Up. Inside them are stickers by...darn it, I don’t remember. I threw the package away within the last week. I flip through my organizers daily. The organizers are separated by theme and they are the home to many sticker packs that I have been looking at for years. Now, do you think I can remember the brand? I will do a timed search to find them online. Timed search you ask? I set the timer on my phone and by the time that alarm goes off, I’m finished looking.
The patterned paper is by Recollections and old stuff by Provo Craft

On the center 4x6, I used these transparent die-cuts. The flower one is by Maya Road and the smaller flower is by American Crafts. I set an eyelet in the center. The bouquet on the right is from Jolee’s a company of EK Success.

This page is a 4x4 pockets equaling 9 squares. I had the one larger photo that even if I cut it down it wouldn’t fit. I boldly cut the pocket open with an Exacto knife to fit the photo in with all the other relevant pictures. I love the results and that it is hard to see the the alteration unless your looking.
I received the glasses patterned paper in a ATC swap, bottom right. Isn’t it the cutest and perfect for the time frame. Haha, pun intended. The Christmas paper, bottom left is by Martha Stewart.
All of the alphabet stamps are from Lawn Fawn.

You're the Cat's Meow! Cards

Here are some more of the cards I made for health care workers and nursing home residents.
This is the first litter of kitty cards

The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn which are stamped onto Spellbinders die cuts and attached using eyelets
I used Colorbox ink on the three cats that are the same and Hero Arts grey ink on the other

So on with the show:

First card:
The background paper is some handmade crap that someone pawned off on me. It's already been thrown away.
The copper patterned paper is by DCWV
The orange cat is stamped onto a Dreamweaver Stencils die-cut
Sentiment die-cut is by Spellbinders with orange eyelets

Second Card:
The dry embossing is a Cuttlebug folder.
It was lightly inked with distress ink.
Sentiment die-cut is by Spellbinders with black eyelets

Third card:
The black cardstock dry embossed with a Darice folder
Sentiment die-cut is by Spellbinders with white eyelets
This is a smaller card 3.5x5

Fourth card:
The grey cat stamp is by Gina Marie Designs. I cut him out with my scissors.
The die-cut he is on is by Sizzix with WRMK patterned paper with inking on the inside of the die-cut.
The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn but no Spellbinder die-cut
The background paper was a wallpaper sample that I dry embossed with a friend's embossing folder.
This is a smaller card base 5x3.5

Last card-
I pulled this three cat panel from a box in the back. It is from the woman that went into the nursing home and I received a bunch of her stamping things. She had bits and pieces that she started and never finished.
The pattern paper is from Hobby Lobby by The Paper Studio.
Sentiment die-cut is by Spellbinders with orange eyelets
Same sentiment as the rest

Just a Note Cards with Labels and Eyelets

I'm still chugging out more TY and TOY cards for everyone.
I've also sent out a few birthday cards for kids that weren't able to have their birthday party because of the stay at home order.

So for these cards:
I used stamps by Hero Arts and Stampibilities for the sentiments
The musical note die-cuts are by Cricut.
The patterned paper is by Prima
The first card uses die-cuts by Design Objectives.
Look at all those eyelets, Oh Yea!
I used Spellbinders labels, called grommet tags, for the second card
The center die-cut was embossed and then inked in the center.
I did that more when I had my Cuttlebug
I'm still learning on my Gemini which plates to use with what.

Just a Note Dry Embossed Rainbow Sheets of Music Cards

These cards are made with leftover backgrounds from a group of ATC's I made back in Feb 2017. I knew I would use them someday. lol

The sentiment sticker is by SRM Stickers and I put it across the top and bottom
The dry embossing is a Fiskars plate. They're really old.
I used them with my Cuttlebug but have feared to try them with my Gemini.
The Gemini company didn't have a warranty card in the box.

So, I'm not as willing to try new combinations on this machine quite yet.
^^This is the old me and I mean old like a week ago.

Because as of today, May 7th, I'm getting ambitious and brave enough to give it a try.
But which plates would I use run them in my Gemini is the question. Hmm

Continuing on with the cards, I inked the embossed area with distress ink. I'm not one to do rainbow colors but these turned out so cute that I may try it again.
Then I trimmed down the Strathmore watercolor paper and sprayed it with water
I kept dabbing off the extra ink with a paper towel so the embossed pattern would show through.
I added pink and black behind it to make it fit the card base.

The next card uses the same dry embossed plate but on plain white cardstock.
I went over the embossed areas very gently with an ink blending tool and the same colors of ink as above.
The sentiment is a stamp from Stampibilities on Bazzill purple cardstock.
It doesn't photograph well but looks nice face to face.
I used pink eyelets inside the Spellbinders label die.
