Let's Party 30th birthday

My cousin is turning 30 next week. I wanted to make her a fun summery kind of card that didn't dwell on her age but still acknowledged it. To do this I stamped tiny little numbers in my banner and in retrospect I should have done so in a lighter pink ink but it's done now. The biggest challenge I have now is getting it in the mail before her birthday actually comes and then goes. I was making July cards this past week and holy cow do we have a large amount of birthdays and anniversaries this month. Hopefully since I've made a list and set cards aside I can stay on top of it. I've often thought of mailing all my cards out at the beginning of the month but that kind of sucks for people that have a birthday on well idk the 29th of the month. Anyway....

Onto my card, I used patterned paper by Echo Park for the background and then My Mind's Eye for the pants and Making Memories (old 8.5x11) for the shirt. The cardstock is by Recollections and Bazzill but the Copic cardstock is by Cryogen. I colored in this fun Kenny K image using the Copc markers and then paper piecing her outfit. The circular sentiment is by Elle's Studio and the die cut the image is on is by Spellbinders. The banner originally started as a Hero Arts stamp  but the pennants were to big for my little 4x5.5 sized card so I cut them down and inked the white cardstock with Stampin Up Pink Passion ink. Then I stamped the numbers and also a very small flower on the ends-a little to light to see them though. The floss is from my stash and I did sew the line across the banner on and then took the entire front panel and adhered it to a Recollections card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
