Deep Red Stamp Friend Shaker Card

Today's card is another shaker card that I made using a Deep Red Stamp for the background. I die cut the Spellbinders label die out of purple cardstock from my stash. I stamped the Ville De Saint Denis stamp onto lavender cardstock by Recollections with grey shadow ink by Hero Arts. You can get the Ville De Saint Denis stamp at A Cherry on Top or Scrapbook.com.

 I assembled the shaker in the normal way adding some beads from a friend and sequins by Craft Medley. The outside of the frame is a rhinestone embellishment from Want 2 Scrap. The vellum sentiment was by CM and the pearls at the bottom are by Eyelet Outlet.

CCAYR Christmas Tree Cards

I have two cards for this months Christmas Cards all Year Round challenge. The first is a shaker card I created with Lifestyle Crafts pennant die. In the background of the shaker I stamp a few different Tim Holtz stamps with green ink by Tsukineko. The sequins in the shaker card are by Craft Medley. The border at the bottom is a die by Spellbinders. The glitter at the bottom is score tape that I added green fine glitter to.

My second card uses a stamp by DeNami Design. I heat embossed it with gold Stampendous embossing powder on Ranger's watercolor cardstock. Then I used the Peerless watercolors and a water pen to color the image in. The green cardstock is by Stampin Up and the green patterned paper is y Die Cuts with a View.

World Card Making Day Card 5

I made this shaker card for the Blitsy World Card Making Day. I stamped a Deep Red Stamp on the background called Esprit Parfumerie and it's on sale at Scrapbook.com. Leaf Shaker card

I made this fall leaf shaker card using a Spellbinders leaf die. I filled the shaker with sequins by Craft Medley, some small gold balls, and stars from Hobby Lobby. The patterned papers are by Recollections for the background paper is by Me and My Big Ideas for the paper inside the shaker card, and the brown paper on top is by Tim Holtz. The sentiment and the acorn stamps are by TPC Studio in brown Stampin Up ink on Bazzill cardstock.

Deep Red Stamps Red Shaker Card

I'm bringing a shaker card to the blog for you today. The background stamps is a crochet design by Deep Red Stamps.

I stamped it in red ink by Stampin Up and set it aside while I set up the shaker card. I used a Spellbinders die for the shaker window and I happened to have the Nestabling by Want 2 Scrap to match it. I filled the shaker in with gold sequins in a flower design and circle. I poured in these really small little balls that can be uncontrollable at times. I also filled in with Craft Medley red sequins in different shades of red and there may be some red glitter in there too

. Then to finish up the card I adhered some thick seam binding in red around the bottom and some Martha Stewart gold floss around and into a bow. The hello sticker at the bottom is by Pebbles.

Saturated Canary Grad card

Today's card features a Saturated Canary graduation image. I printed her out onto Cryogen cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I die cut her out using a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink. I die cut another rectangle shape in red to go behind the image. The patterned paper is by Scenic Route. The sentiment is a die cut from my Cricut. I inked the top layer of this sentiment die cut before adhering it to a shimmer piece of paper by Recollections. The rick rack is by Wright's, sequins by Craft Medley and enamel dots by Teresa Collins.

Christmas Card

Happy World Cardmaking day. I think I will be back with more cards since I can take part in challenges and what-nots online.

This month at Christmas Cards All Year Round the challenge is Embellish it. I took mine to a new level of embellishing, well at least for me. But hey it's all good. 

The digital stamp Holly Ornament is by Beccy's Place, which I colored in with Copic markers. Then I fussy cut the image out and taped it onto a Sizzix die cut. The red and white cardstock in my card is by Recollections and the chevron patterned paper is by Glitzy. The sentiment stamps and the banner they are in are by Hero Arts using Simon Says Stamp red ink and Tsukineko green. The sequins are by Craft Medley and rhinestones by Imaginisce. To finish the card I added Sticko poinsettia and leaves stickers to the corners.

Mason Jar Best Wishes

I have another card to share with the small mason jar by Jolee's. I've had three other cards using this 6 pack of stickers. You can find them HERE, HERE, and HERE. This one I filled with pink beads by Craft Medley and then put the jar back together. The wood veneer die cuts are by Maya Road and I've painted them with Silver Adirondack paint by Ranger. Then I stamped a Hero Arts sentiment with HA black ink. The cardstock is from my stash with the patterned papers by Recollections {pink} and floral by Stamp Your Art 8.

Mason Jar You're How Old?

I'm back with another mason jar card. You may recall me telling you that I bought these Jolee's stickers and decided to cut them open from the back where the lid would cover the opening. I've filled the first couple up with sequins which you can see HERE and HERE. This one is filled with beads by Craft Medley. 

I stamped the number background stamp by Hero Arts with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with Stamp N Plus white embossing powder. The patterned paper is an oldie by My Mind's Eye. The cardstock on top is by Stampin up and the whole card has it's edges inked with Ranger's distress ink. The sentiment is computer generated.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 9 Julie

Day 9 we worked with floral builder stamps. Although I didn't have the set they were working with I had a close alternative. I made this beautiful wreath with a set from Paper Smooches. I hope you like it.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 3 Stephanie

I have another Stretch Your Stamps 2 card to share today. This one comes from Day 3 Stephanie's idea. I however do not have the scene stencils that they have so I made my own stencils. The 4 and 5 are negative cut outs from my Cricut. I stamped the words in the numbers and then added ink to the stencil to define the edges. I have another example of this technique in progress to show later today or tomorrow. 

The stamps are by Lawn Fawn, sequins by Craft Medley, pearls and rhinestones by Want 2 Scrap, cardstock by Studio G (teal), Stampin Up (gray), and Recollections (black), and the ink is by Stampin Up and Ranger.

I heat embossed it with white pigment ink by Stampin Up and blue embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. The white cardstock is by Recollections and I matted it onto a patterned paper by Creative Memories. The background paper is by Provo Craft circa 2004. The middle paper is by Recollections and I embossed it with a Darice embossing folder. I then added some distress ink to the edges. 

I embellished my card with sequins by Craft Medley, flowers by Studio G, rhinestones by Want 2 Scrap, and a round blue thingy in the center of the flower at the top is by Hero Arts.

Boy or Girl Shaker Card

So it seems there is a lot about shaker cards in the past week on Youtube and around blogland. Take a look at my twist of taking a mason jar sticker by Jolee's and making it a shaker card.

I cut them apart from each other and on the back of the sticker, where the lid sits, I cut a straight slit with an Exacto knife. Try keeping the sticker part covered with the release paper it comes on so the sequins won't stick to the back. Or you could have some permanently on the back but then you need to get fancy with adhering the sticker to your card. I pinched the to sides inward and filled the mason jar with blue and pink sequins by Craft Medley.

I used Lawn Fawn Harold alphabet stamps for the words with Hero Arts black ink.The "or" is on a garage sale tag that I cut down to fit the bottle. I think it works well as a label on a jar. It adhered the stickers to the die cut and glued the lid on, which had fallen off, with Glossy Accents. The patterned paper is by Hot off the Press, rick rack by Wright's, and all white cardstock by Recollections.

Fourth of July cards

I tried this digi twice for 4th of July cards and here's what I came up with. The bigger she is the easier it is to color her swimsuit. However it's still a tiny piece of clothing even if the image is large. I printed her out onto Cryogen cardstock and colored her I. With Copic markers. I didn't pay attention to the colors I was using-I'm kind of feast or famine on documenting my Copic colors per image. That week we were at famine. Once she was colored in I die cut her out using Design Objectives dies. The patterned paper is by Bo Bunny and the red cardstock is by Hobby Lobby. That red piece is border punched out but I can't tell by which one. The chipboard sentiment is by The Paper Studio and the sequin is by Craft Medley. 

My next attempt at her is average or maybe a little below average when it comes to newbies coloring with Copic markers. I just don't do it enough to get the practice in. I wanted this image smaller for a couple of reasons; the card base is smaller. I received these cards one box free for spending so much and the second box of pre-made cards with envelopes for $2.50. I decided to give them a try since they are made of Core'dinations cardstock and it's good to change up the size you do to get a different perspective. Just like 12x12 scrappers doing an 8x8 book for a change. 

Printing the images this small I was able to get 8 images on a sheet of cardstock. Less waste of the expensive paper needed for Copic marker coloring. After I colored her in I die cut her out with Spellbinders die. I punched a bunch of red circles for the background. Then I embellished with a Quickutz star die cut, rhinestone by Making Memories, a sequin by Craft Medley, ribbon and a K and Co sentiment.

Sitting Here Thinking of You

Here is a thinking of you card  that may bring some joy to that someone special. I created this card using a chair stamp and sentiment by Stamp N Plus. 

The turquoise cardstock is from Hobby Lobby, grey and orange by Sunborn with with cardstock by Recollections. The orange cardstock is cut out using a Spellbinders die cut. The doily patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye and the checked is unknown. 

I heat embossed the chair stamp with silver embossing powder by Stampendous and ink by Versa Mark. Then I colored in the image with distress markers and distress ink both by Ranger Industries. The sentiment is stamped in Taken with Teal by Stampin Up and I embellished the card with sequins by Craft Medley and rhinestones from Want 2 Scrap.

Tuesday is always a good day for me. It makes me happy like my card today. I use some My Mind's Eye diagonal striped patterned paper as my base. I stamped THIS Deep Red Stamp with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I used Ranger distress ink-I believe the peacck color- and inked the edges with a ink blender also by Ranger. I wiped off the extra ink that was on the embossed area and went on to assemble my card. 

The grey patterned paper is by The Paper Studio and the sparkle cardstock by DCWV. The happy sticker is by Ki Memories, rhinestones by Want2Scrap and sequins by Craft Medley

Snowflake Christmas

Hi everyone. I'm posting a card over at the Stamp N Plus blog this morning and wanted to share it here. First, I cut my window out with the Cricut. I stamped a variety of snowflake stamps that you can find HERE and HERE onto the blackout cut of the window. I stamped them with distress ink by Ranger and then sprayed the paper with water and Perfect Pearls mixed together. 

For the rest of my card: patterned paper by DCWV and MME; cardstock by Hobby Lobby and Recollections; ribbon by MME; sequins by Craft Medley; rhinestones by Want 2 Scrap; snowflake sticker by Hobby Lobby; sentiment sticker by Cloud 9; label by Martha Stewart.
