Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 7 Debby

Last one for the Stretch Your Stamps 2 class. I followed Debby Hughes card of random graphic stamping. The cross stamp is by Fiskars with ink by Stampin Up and Close to My Heart. The twine is by Tim Holtz/ Ranger and the pearls by Want 2 Scrap. The sentiment stamp is one of Gina Marie's Stamps called Simple Sentiments. You can find more great stamps and crafting supplies at her site at Wholesalecraftingsupplies.Com

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 8 Nichol

I'm going to try and squeak in with two more cards. This one follows Nichol Magouirk's card. I don't have the stamps they used so I used what I have. The triangles are by Kelly Purkey and the hexagons by Stampin Up.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 6 Laura

I have two more to upload for now. This one is inspired by Laura's tags. The stamp is by Inkadinkado, stamped with Tsukineko ink and colored with Copics. The red paper is by Stampin Up as well as the Love die cut. The green papers are by Sunborn and the ribbon is from my stash.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 8 Kristina

Stretch Your Stamps 2 card inspired by Kristina Werner's technique. My stamps are by Kitchen Sink Stamps and Lawn Fawn. The ink is by Rubber Stampede, Stampin Up, and Versa Mark. Cardstock by Recollections and embossing powder by Stamp N Plus.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 4 Kristina

I have another Stretch Your Stamps 2 card using a technique from Kristina Werner and well.....it took a long time and I'm not sure the results are all that great. I did all the stamping in Tsukineko green ink on Bazzill and Creative Memories cardstock. The stamps are by K and i Memories, Just Stamps, Inkadinkado and TPC Studio. I did it and the green was kind of blah. I restamped the one Best Wishes with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with Stamp N Stuff black glitter powder. I then inked some white cardstock by Recollections and heat embossed it with the same powder. I cut that paper into strips and adhered it to the corners. The circle is cut out with a Creative Memories circle cutter and it is on dimensional adhesive.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 5 Sheri

This card is based on Sheri Carroll's paper piecing and layering those pieces with dimensional adhesive. The stamp is by Inkadinkado which I colored with some with Copic markers. I love the polka dot patterned paper in the center. The green paper is patterned paper that I colored with the Copics which was a little different from what I normally do.

The sentiment is by Sweet Stamp Shop in the Easily Distracted stamp set. I inked some white cardstock and covered it with gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I took the stamp and stamped the embossing powder to remove the powder around that stamp. Then I heat embossed the area.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Family is Forever Day 9

I did the same technique in pink. The cardstock is by Studio G with patterned paper by DCWV and Making Memories. The die cut is by Spellbinders. The flowers and leaf stamps are by Stampin Up and Paper Smooches. The ink is by Stampin Up, Colorbox, and Versa Color.

The sentiment stamp is by Gina Marie Designs but it is a retired stamp set. But check out hjer other supplies at

Thanks for looking.

SYS 2 So Thankful Yana Day 9

I made a couple of these at the same time. I used stamps by Stampin Up, Inkadinkado, Studio G and unknown. The ink is by Colorbox, Stampin Up, and Versa Color. The die cut is by Spellbinders.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 4 Tami

Stretch Your Stamps 2 is winding down tomorrow and I want to get a few more cards uploaded before they close and go into archive mode.

These two cards were inspired by Tami Hartley. They took a long time to create only because I was apprehensive about the size and shapes not matching each other. I finally got over it and just let it go. I think they are a little kitchy {I'm not sure how it's spelled} with the foam stickers but I really like them and they are easy to mail at regular postage.

The stamps are by Lawn Fawn, black ink by Hero Arts, distress inks and watercolor paper by Ranger, The floss is old from my MIL's stash, and the patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye. The foam stickers are from Hobby Lobby that I bought for my niece but I took a handful out before wrapping it.

This one has a few differences; a glittery sled, different arrangement of the pennants, and the pennants have multiple colors of distress inks.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 3 Debby

This card was inspired by Debby Hughes at the Stretch Your Stamps card class. Mine is on a different scale then hers but this is what worked with the stuff I have.

The yellow cardstock is by Bazzill and the white by Recollections. The bee stamp is old by Stampin Up and I had to mask off the trail of words that followed him. The letter stamps are by Lawn Fawn and I stamped them with Memento Ink. The die cuts are by Stampin Up and I inked them with distress inks. The stems are also a die cut by Stampin Up, the cloud punch by Marvy and the "Enjoy" die cut came from my Cricut. The stencil in the background is by The Crafter's Workshop with Squeezed lemon distress ink. The buttons and blue cording are from my stash.

Thanks for looking

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 2 Kathy

Today's new card was inspired by the Stretch Your Stamps 2 card class tutorial by the fabulous Kathy Racoosin at The Daily Marker. She used her Faber Cassell gelatos to color in her background stamp. I only have one gelato in the blue but I do have and used a yellow and green pens by Faber Castell to use which is something new for me to work/play with. I tell you that because she opened my mind to break outside the box (for this technique I would have used my Distress Markers) and use something different. Yeah! Love that about this class.

I loved this background so much and I wasn't sure if I would follow her card example so I took a picture of it once I got some color down. The stamp is by Hero arts and I stamped it with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. At first I had a little trouble seeing the pattern I needed to color because I never looked at that image that way before. I figured it out but it was an eye opening experience.

Come to find out the Faber Cassell markers mix well with water. To apply the color to the paper I scribbled some out on my craft sheet and picked it up with my water pen by Ranger.

There were some squares in the pattern that I left white but I couldn't leave it like that. I added sparkle to each square with a clear Wink of Stella pen.

I ended up following her squares for my card design but didn't do the window card. This actually a heavy card because there are so many layers of cardstock. I personally love it that way and the color combo is a favorite of mine. The sentiment is a Just rite stamp that I stamped with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with blue embossing powder by Stamp N Plus.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 3 Julie

I made this card using an alphabet stamp set by Lawn Fawn for the Stretch Your Stamps 2 class. It was kind of a lot of work with the letters and if I did it again I would mass produce with a more generic sentiment. The water color affect is pretty cool though. I can see myself doing that again.

Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 9 Julie

Day 9 we worked with floral builder stamps. Although I didn't have the set they were working with I had a close alternative. I made this beautiful wreath with a set from Paper Smooches. I hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by.
