Floral Friday Puple and Pink Daisy card
The card today is a birthday card. The patterned paper is from a 6x6 paper pad by a Hampton Arts company called Studio G. The flower stamp is on a Spellbinders die cut.
Idk why I stamped the flower onto purple cardstock, seriously idk why. But then I used a Spellbinders die to cut it out...crooked. So it sat in my drawer until recently, before calendar season. I'm looking at it going, what do I do with this thing, which direction should the card be, why did I put foam adhesive on it and why didn't I hide the foam better? Ugh! I took a Copic marker and colored the foam adhesive purple when my hand jerked and the marker went on the die cut. Awesome. I colored the edges in the darker purple and again my hand jerked so I brought the color in toward the flower. The flower got lost on the die cut so I put Stickles in the center and I wish I wouldn't have. The card's orientation is portrait. Here are some other cards using the same stamp. Thanks for looking. The die cut in the center is a Cricut cut. It is 2 layers with the pink paper by Sunborn and the purple cardstock from my stash. Here is a fun fact about that die cut, on the back it says, "CCR Cartridge Freebie called Labels."
Let me dissect that lingo; CCR is "Cricut Craft Room". That was the second computer software that the Cricut company used and could be used with the archaic Cricut Expression. The word "Cartridge" should also be a giveaway that these are old die cuts because Cricut went away with cartridges when they introduced the "Explore Air". When they released the Explore Air they also created a new software called "Design Space" to take place the CCR. Sadly, Cricut still uses the same DS software that it did back then. SMH.
Anyway, below are links of cards using the same daisy stamp.

Celebrate Card with strips of all colors and upcycled tag
The birthday card today uses some old products from my stash.
The sentiment stamp is by Hampton Arts. It is stamped onto Creative Memories patterned paper. It then went over the back of a die-cut (see the last picture)
The flower die cut is by K and Co. The brad in the center is probably by Making Memories. Check it out >>I’m using my old products.
The white and purple patterned paper is by K and Co. The background paper is by SEI.
This next picture is the back of the sentiment die-cut. It still had sparkle on the front but where would I use this die-cut? I’m not in front of my house selling lemonade nor are any of the little kids that I know.
Therefore, I used it for something else. Flip it over and there you have a sparkly die-cut for the sentiment. This tag is by Little Yellow Bicycle.

Thinking of You Square grid like pattern card
I used stamps by Hampton arts with matching dies for the outside squares. (They're more of a rectangle but we're going to go with square:)
Then I have the same Stampin Up squares that I've been trying to find a way to use them in a way that I like them.

The sentiment is by Hero Arts
I used inks by Hero Arts, Stampin Up and distress ink residue.
Pool Tide by Hero Arts in the center square. The same stamps around the outside squares are Sage Shadow by Stampin Up. I stamped off with this color and then stamped onto the die-cut. It's an old ink with a flip-top case. It has survived for many years.
On the SU stamps, I used the inks SU Soft Sky, SU Certainly Celery. Umbrella Sea Glass. When I stamped a bunch of these a few years ago, I didn't clean the stamp before stamping the next time.

I also did the stamping on random pieces of white cardstock and some on the backside of patterned paper that I knew I wouldn't use.
Therefore, the shades of white are off and that's something that I would have stamped again but then I would still have these oddballs sitting in my drawer.
Since I did not clean the stamps in between each use, the squares have their own unique color. I can see where the brown tint of ink is on the blue squares.

Here's another one with those stamps.
All the stamps are by Stampin Up
The flower die- cuts have matching stamps but for whatever reason
it didn’t cut all the way through the paper on the inside flower. It’s hard to explain.

Manly Monday Dad's Blue Shirt
Edited April 2021 see the sidebar for an explanation
This week I'm bringing the same shirt stamp that I showed you last week HERE in this post. I colored it in with Peerless watercolors and die cut it out with a Spellbinders die. The background patterned paper is by Hampton Art, the gray cardstock is by Recollections, ribbon by Pebbles, and the sentiment and ink are both y Hero Arts. There is a brad in the top middle but I'm not sure the manufacturer.
Welcome back to Manly Monday. I only have a couple for you this week and I really hope you will visit and leave a comment that you stopped by from Manly Monday or MM. I really want the love of cardmaking and the bond of women (and men) that make cards to shine through with these posts. I could go on but I'll spare you my sermon. Hugs to all.
Thanks for looking.

Yellow and Green Flower Cards
I'm not feeling very cre8ive lately and have resorted to using sketches and challenges to get me going. These cards were made using a Scrapbook.com sketch. {see below}
The flower stamp in my card is by Inkadinakado and the circle stamp is by Colorbok. I stamped the flower with Memento black ink and the circle with Close to my Heart green ink and colored the flower in with Copic markers. I cut the circle out with my Creative Memories Cutting System. The circle mat behind the image is a Spellbinders die that I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist color Mustard Seed. The top patterned paper is by Cosmo Cricket and the bottom by Hampton Arts. The pennants are made with Bazzill yellow cardstock, Neenah Solar White cardstock and patterned paper by Provo Craft. The glitter paper is by Recollections and the ribbon is by Martha Stewart. I did pop the image up with a circle of yellow fun foam for dimension.

Christmas Card Layout 2010
So recently I decided to update my Christmas card scrapbooks. It started as one book for all the photo Christmas cards we receive each year and now I'm up to 3- 8 1/2 x 11 books. I think I will be able to get them caught up as long as I stay off the computer.
In June I was able to finish up two scrapbooks for a friend. She doesn't know it yet but I think she will be pleasantly surprised by them. Then already in July I managed to finish a cottage scrapbook that I needed to finish. It only took about 2 days time to pull it together because it was only 20 pages and the pictured were already scrapped on a calendar I made. The calendar was smaller then the book but it was nice and easy to rip apart the calendar and put those layouts in a 12x12 album. It turned out nice.
So on the list of things to get done, the Christmas card book is up and happening now. I used the sketch over at Scrap Much {see below} to create this fun colorful layout. I like that Julie is wearing a blue coat because it makes it a real nice accent color that is easy on the eyes.
The background paper and the red strip of paper are both by Craft Smith {Michael's}. The green swirly paper is by My Mind's Eye and the really light blue patterned paper that is behind the picture and expands to the bottom into a point is by K and Co. I used a piece of Doodlebug shaped paper to trace out the point for the blue paper. Then I hand cut it.
The Christmas tree is a Cricut cut but I'm not sure which one. However, the hat, on the right, is a Cricut cut from Winter Wonderland cartridge. For the tree I covered the top with green glitter glue by Hampton Arts and then the star and base are Stickles by Ranger Industries. For the hat I used Sunborn red cardstock, green sparkle paper by Doodlebug, and the snowflake in the center is the same light blue paper behind the photo {K and Co}. The number stickers are by Echo Park.
I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Houses
Today's card is using a "new to me" stamp set by Hampton Arts. I stamped the houses on the watercolor paper with Hero Arts black ink. Then I masked them off and stamped the trees. I colored the scene in with distress markers and water. The sun stamp was stamped with distress ink and then I used a paint brush and water to make the lines not so perfect. After all of the image was dry I circle cut it out using the Creative Memories cutting system. Then I put Glossy Accents in the windows of the houses.
The patterned paper is by Prima and My Mind's Eye and watercolor paper by Strathmore. Smaller circles are Spellbinders dies and the sentiment is by Fiskars with ink by Hero Arts. Distress Markers and ink by Ranger.
Thanks for looking.

Baby Girl Congrats
For my card today I created the background by stamping a background stamp by Hero Arts onto patterned paper by Daisy D. The ink I used is Tattered Rose by Ranger. It matched the patterned paper perfectly. That patterned paper is mounted onto a piece of cardstock by Ranger Industries/Coredinations. The owls are a stamped image by Hampton Arts. I stamped it with Colorbox ink and then after it dried sprayed it with water and Perfect Pearls. The die cut for the image is by Spellbinders. The heart stamp is by American Crafts and is punched out into a deckled square shape by Marvy. The congrats ribbon is by American Crafts and the border punch on my card is by Stampin Up.
