1983 May Wedding Layout

My husband is on the left.

The patterned paper for this layout is by Daisy D

on the bottom:

On the bottom row of embellishments, on each side of the small picture, I used a Creative Memories punch for two white cardstock squares and added Creative Memories stickers on top.

Then, I layered the decorative square punches, also by Creative Memories, onto regular squares.

The pink glitter paper is by Die Cuts with a View. 

The ring stamp is by American Crafts.

On the right side, the heart, the word May, and the year are stamps by Stampin Up.

The patterned papers are from my stash. 

This is the oldest boy’s wedding.

The blue patterned paper used on 8 of the 9 cards is by Colorbok. (Bok not BoX)

I inked the edges with a brown chalk ink by Colorbox. (Box. Not BoK.)

Seriously. Did these two companies not know of each other when naming their company? SMH

3 Peachy Pinky cards

Here’s another set of cards I made to send to friends and family for my mom’s funeral. I’m really enjoying making these cards. I’ve had these things cut out or colored in but haven’t used them. Now I am. My friend calls the cards “Lick N Sticks”. Have you ever heard that expression?

This sentiment is from Current. The border punch is from Martha Stewart at EK Success out of Bazzill cardstock. The patterned paper is by Stampin Up. 

The second card , the polka dot patterned paper is by Daisy D’s and I’m not sure about the paper on the top and bottom. The square die cut is by Spellbinder. The round die cut is from Cricut. I covered it with powdered chalk mixed with paint. The flower stamp is by Stampin Up and it was stamped with black ink.

This last card the patterned paper is by Creative Memories. The tag is by Colorbok. The sentiment stamp is by Lawn Fawn. The flower stamp is by Stampin Up with matching die. Border punch is the same as above.

Fall wreaths

Fall wreaths with paper leaves. Products listed below.

I started with styrofoam wreaths from the dollar store and wrapped it with small pieces of fabric. 

All kinds of product in these. Stamped leaves by Stampin Up (Colorbox ink and die cut with matching dies). Large leaves with embossed detail by Martha Stewart. 

Leaves by Creative Memories large brown, medium red leaves, embossed yellow and many small oak and maple leaves which is a punch. Those red leaves were either sprayed with Glimmer Mist or stamped with a word background stamp by Hero Arts.

Spellbinders leaves are the larger orange in the back as well as one five leaf and one three leaf  die cuts cut out of cereal box. 

The leaves by Marvy are punches that are big in the back or super tiny in the front.

There are 2 green ones that I see were cut from my Cricut and not needed for whatever reason. The plain green leaves are die cuts by Sizzix.

There are two green leaves from my early days for scrapbook and card making when I was in design teams. The leaves are digital stamps but I’m not sure where they’re from. I also have Dreamweaver Stencils they are small. I used embossing paste (probably white) and when it was dry I applied Perfect P earls. There’s a few random leaves and they are all close to each other (makes it easier to point out). There’s a green tree and orange glitter felt leave. The last thing I’m going to point out on this one is  a "lick it and stick it" somewhere type thing. I found it in my MIL’s craft things. Maybe they were supposed to go on the back of an envelope. Idk but they add nice color to the wreaths.

Yellow wreath:  There are a lot of the same leaves on this one.

March Sketches in Thyme Project Life

This month at Sketches in Thyme Project Like our sketch was this one by Emma Pescott.

I did a regular LO with the card in it. The white of the card is sprayed with blue and then red Smooches Spritz by Clearsnap. I used the negative of star die cuts from CM and moved the template a little with each color. I added some Perfect Pearls powder on top of the white cardstock after the spritz dried. I used a very old "Good Times" die cut that I don't know the company but it fit the color theme of my layout. The red and blue stars are chipboard that I painted. The yellow die cuts are by Quickutz on the bottom and then a Circut star on foam tape above. I wrote the journaling with a Copic Multi-liner in black. I hate my handwriting but it's much quicker than using stamps.

 The transparency is by Daisy D's that I attached with Making Memories eyelets. The "2" is a Cricut cut using the Micky font cartridge. The "nd" is a stamp by The Paper Studio with red ink by SU. Finally the star patterned paper is by Die Cuts with a View.

Just for You

Today's card uses Spellbinders dies from a bunch of different sets to create the focal point in the center. The stamp is by Fiskars and it's stamped with brown ink by SU. The patterned papers in my card are by Daisy D and My Mind's Eye. The felt ribbon was found in my MIL's stash of crafty stuff. The brown cardstock is by Recollections.

I heat embossed it with white embossing powder by Stamp N Plus on Strathmore watercolor cardstock. Then I die cut the image out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink by Ranger Industries. I sprayed it with water mixed with Perfect Pearls. The background paper and the white with polka dots are both by Jillibean Soup. The large polka dot paper is an old scrap by American Crafts as well as the ribbon. The flower is by Daisy D and the brad in the center is by We R Memory Keepers. The top paper is another scrap by Deja Views and the hello sticker is by Pebbles.

Iris folding Easter card.

I LOVE this card. The Easter basket iris folding stamp by Stamp N Plus is so stunning. Take a look.

I stamped the image onto Tim Holtz distress watercolor paper, that's a mouthful, and then cut out the center. The patterned paper I used for the folding is by DCWV and the lines match up better then if I actually tried for them too. I colored the rest of the image in with distress markers and a water pen by Ranger. I used a Wink of Stella pen on some of the eggs and animals. 

The patterned paper is by Daisy D's (old) and the cardstock is by Recollections. The lattice pattern die cut was cut out with the Cricut (Ribbons and Rosettes) with the egg sticker by Doodlebug Designs. The sentiment sticker is by Reminisce.

Stamp N Plus baby card

I was slacking yesterday. Sorry about the draft blog post. I made this card for the Stamp N Plus blog using one of their sentiment stamps in grey Stampin Up ink. The patterned paper is by Daisy D's and The Paper Studio. The label is from Martha Stewart with flowers from Prima and center by Recollections.

Christmas Cards all Year Round

This month at Christmas cards all year round the challenge is to use flowers and hearts with red and white. 

For my first card I used a heart die cut by Quickutz and flower die cuts by Spellbinders. Patterned paper by Daisy D's. The flowers were dry embossed with a folder by The Paper Studio and Cuttlebug/ Provo Craft. The stamped sentiments are by Hero Arts with ink by Stampin Up. 

The center of my flower is by Forever in Time with tiny brads around it. The brads are by The Paper Studio. Down the center of the card is red tulle from a friend. I like how it gives the card even more texture without the bulk. 

My next card I used a smaller heart button for the center of my flower. I liked the way the gold matched the letters on the ribbon. I didn't have to stamp a sentiment when using this ribbon by Making Memories. The paper is also by Making Memories, flowers by Imaginisce (white) and Oriental Trading Co (red). The embossing folder is by Provo Craft/Cuttlebug.

Chalk Ah Lot challenge- Baby card with Laundry

Chalk-Ah-Lot challenge New with chalk continues.

I chose to do a new baby card using this clothesline border stamp. I colored in the image using powder chalk and bubbles. It gives a great look. I also inked the edges with chalk ink. The background is also a Stamp N Plus stamp that I stamped multiple times turning it to create this fun whimsical look. The pink chalk by Stamp N Plus is called Cotton Candy.  

The pink and purple ink I used is chalk ink by Colorbox. The black is by Hero Arts. The ribbon is by Offray. It's hard to tell but there is a piece of pink ribbon with purple on top of it. The buckle is by Making Memories. The patterned paper is by Daisy D's.

The sentiment would be fabulous for baby announcements. Below is a picture of all the sentiments that come with this one. They are not posted on the Stamp N Plus website but you can order them by calling Luann at 715-271-1873

When I do some random housecleaning on my posts, I keep the original the original post of there of the card. A timeline as to what design team I was on, what products was I using at that time, and the number of challenges I would link up to. It baffles me to think of the time spent doing all of that. Breast Cancer Awareness card

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month I made this simple card. The purple flower is made of paper using a die cut from Quickutz. The background is dry embossed using the Swiss Dot embossing folder by Provo Craft/Cuttlebug. The sentiment stamp is by TPC Studio. I double stamped the sentiment by stamping it first with purple ink and then stamping it again with pink pigment ink. I then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Inks by Stampin Up and Colorbox. The ribbon is by Offray. The rectangle in the middle is a die cut from Spellbinders and the patterned paper is by Daisy D's. The ribbon die cut is by Provo Craft/Cuttlebug.

October being Breast Cancer awareness month I made a few cards to show you this month. 

This card is made with a sentiment stamp by TPC Studio and ink by Stampin Up. The patterned paper is by Daisy D's and The Paper Studio, both very old from my stash. The die cuts are all by Spellbinders and the rest is unknown. I don't even know who the ribbon stamp is by. I can't find the silly thing in my new space. It will show up eventually.
