Manly Monday Tree silhouette die cut

The tree background die is by Dreamweaver Stencils. The yellow background was made using distress oxide. The bottom edge is made up of border punches just 2 layers to make it look fuller. After I added the tree die to the background I dry embossed it with an embossing folder by The Paper studio at Hobby Lobby. I added distress oxide over the whole thing before added a upcycled thank you tag.

 This card was made with a piece of basic gray patterned paper and a piece of copper metallic paper that has texture. The sentiment is by Bo Bunny, and the brad is by Creative Imagination.

The background paper is by Accord Publishing. This time I colored the die cut with a Copic Markers. I cut the edge thin so that it would sit inside the frame of the patterned paper. 

The background inside the frame was made with distress ink. I tried to make it look like a the shadows of the tree trunks. I ripped a piece of paper on the bottom edge of the tree and made it look like dirt. Hopefully it did.

Offset Stencil background card

This is a recollection stencil. I inked it with red pigment ink then moved it and inked it with a greenish color ink by Colorbox. Then I clear heat embossed it. I used a border punch. Then I added a circle brad in the center which is what I needed for the Simon Says Stamp

Christmas Nativity scene Ornament Card

The ornament stamp was one that I borrowed from a friend and I wrote the company name on the back of the image but when I fussy cut it out the name on the back was never seen again. 

I adhered the image to an unknown patterned paper and with the ornament just awkwardly hanging there, it looked unfinished. So I added a gold brad, yes a brad, at the top of the ornament and to make it look like a real ornament I wrapped gold thread around the brad and then taped to the back of the card. The “thread” is by Martha Stewart. 

Moving down the card we come to a punched border on gold pearlescent paper. Next down the card is a pennant that overlaps the above but of a different piece of gold paper. Both gold papers are from the same paper pack by Sizzix. The sentiment is a Stampendous stamp. 

This picture shows the shine of the pennant paper and it’s a close up of the thread wrapped around the brad.

Arizona Volleyball 2007 SB Layout **READY

This is a layout I made capturing the time spent in Arizona for a nephew’s graduation party. 

The letters on the left side of the page are from Quickutz. The bubble border punch is by EK TTYsSuccess, and the patterned paper is unknown. I like the mat behind the pictures.
The right side uses very old products from Provo Crafts. I used different colored small Creative Memories letter stickers. There are  epoxy sticker on the right square. Thanks for your looking.

September calendar Layout with Dad and Pam

I used a border punch by EK Success and did one side and the title was cut out with my Cricut. The circle was dry embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I inked it with distress ink and then sprayed it with water mixed with gold Perfect Pearls. I cut off the bottom of another circle the same size and adhered it to this one. I then used a border sticker and placed it over the seam. The die cuts are by Recollections.

Floral Friday Vellum sentiment card

The flower stamp is by Stampendous. I inked it with different colored ink pads. The border punch is by Fiskars. I made the paper that color with the same ink pad used on the flower. The sentiment is vellum and I think it’s by Creative Memories. I inked the edges with distress ink. Thanks for looking.

Celebrate Cream and Green Hand Stamped background card

 The card base was stamped with a leaf stamp and then if you look closely at the edges there's a straight line with swirls on it. Pretty. It would be nice if I knew who made that and the leaf stamp. The flowers are the cutouts of a border punch from Fiskars. The sentiment is a diecut by Crafter's Companion. Thanks for looking.

April Calendar Layout Good Day Sunshine

I like the layered border punches, one by Martha Stewart and the other by EK Success. The title is a Cricut cut and the word “Sunshine” looks like a stamp. This is an oldie but I need to post these calendars too. I get more every year. Thanks for looking.

Floral Friday Pretty in Pink Flowers and Crown card

Today my cards are just easy and 

The card below uses small stamps by Close to my Heart in Creative Memories decorative square punch. The top and bottom are turned and the middle one is a frame made with a large and small punch and white laid into that frame. Striped patterned paper is by Echo Park (Sweet Girl by Lori Whitlock) and polka dot paper is by Making Memories (Flower Patch)

The next card uses patterned paper by Basic Grey (Konnichiwa). The frame is by My Mind's Eye, Doily by Martha Stewart, and the crown is by Three Bugs in a Rug (I always thought that it was a strange name but there are others out there that make me wonder where such names came from for a stamp company.) I digress.

I had the opportunity to use this card for a 16th birthday card. The flowers on the side are from my stash. The sentiment went perfectly for the occasion.

As you can see with these two photos side by side my ongoing photography problem continues. You can see where the picture has a brown background and how the pink's warmth is more apparent. I think the background gives the pink background patterned paper more of an orange hue to it. The picture taken above was taken outside but on an overcast day and not on a sunny day. again where the true color of my cards are

Happy Dog image colored in with Chalk card

The patterned paper by Moxxie on the bottom and My Mind's Eye on the top. I cut the image and the mat behind it with my trimmer and rounded the corners with a Creative Memories edge rounder. There's a border between the two papers and it is by Martha Stewart. The digital image is by Robyn's Fetish and colored in with powdered chalk mixed with white pearl paint both by Stampin N Plus.
