Cards I really like from 2010-2020

These are cards I wanted to remember and have all in one place to look back at maybe for a technique or maybe it took me forever to make. Some of the cards say what I liked about them.

๐Ÿ‘‰There are a few early cards in this post that I'm not sure how they made it to this list/post. Right now (1-4-21) when I look at a few of them, I do not like them, or better said...that card doesn't look very special or worthy to be in here. But I left them alone and on the list.

Hot Air Balloon-I really liked the Copic coloring on this one. Jan 2012

Gina Marie stencils-A stenciled card with embossing paste and then the butterfly coloring is different but fun. I love how I was able to find products that match each other. July 2017

Easter Card- The way I masked the egg to stamp the background. Mar 2011

Easter cross-I liked the embossing paster and the cross metal stencil by Dreamweaver Stencil. This was when I was new to the embossing paste and I was really proud that I was able to create such a beautiful look with the cross. Then I cut slits at the top to adhere the ribbon. I was nervous that I was going to cut the cross and I didn't know if I was going to be able to recreate the cross.
Truthfully, I wish I would have made a fourth one for my collection. Mar 2016

Horses-I received the border punch in a swap and I loved how well it and patterned paper all worked together. Feb 2015

Sunflower-This was one of those images that I feel like I colored well. Plus sunflowers are my favorite flowers. Feb 2015

Lawn Fawn Flickr challenge-I liked this one because of the different color scheme than I would normally use. Mar 2015. The butterfly always has looked upside down to me but it's not.

Lawn Fawn 4th of July-This one turned out the way I wanted to. I stamped the fireworks over the stenciled embossing paste. June 2015

Corvette-Mar 2015
There is another Vette card at the bottom

Minion- I followed a tutorial for this card and just love how it turned out. Feb 2015

Frigate card-June 2015

Hello in Yellow-Sept 2014

It looks like a present-I love how this one looks like a present and I was able to get a really good bow. Mar 2015

You're in my Prayers-Feb 2015

Solitaire-July 2015

Lighthouse-The coloring on the stamp technique worked really well on the watercolor paper. Aug 2014

Motorcycle-Nov 2015

Deer in the pond-I love the crisp stamped image I was able to get on the watercolor paper because the paper has texture to it which can make it hard to get a good stamped image. Dec 2013

A Bridal Gown for Julie-June 2015

Potted Tulips Thank you-Mar 2015

Poinsettia #1.-April 2014

Candy dots.-I got a ton of compliments on this card. It has a fun candy dots look to it. Mar 2015

Doily ATC I really like the facts at the bottom of this post more than anything else.

Fall ATC-Sept 2016 The embossing paste with the metallic FX on top is gorgeous.

Embossing paste hot air balloon-Jan 2015

Poinsettia #2-Sept 2014

Sweet Friend -Nov 2013

Flower scene-July 2010

Square sketch-July 2010

Crown card-July 2010

Strawberry Shortcake-July 2010

Sewn Strawberry ๐Ÿ“ Card-June 2010

Graduation card-June 2010

Scalloped circle with floss-I like how the floss is weaved onto the scalloped circle die-cut part and that's it.-June 2010 I don't like the little girls.

Pot of gold-March 2010

Tri-Fold Easter card-March 2011

Dove card-I haven't liked many of the cards with this die-cut. But this is OK. Simple. The border punch.

Loose Change Card -I made this Father's Day card for my Dad in 2020. That's our thing-looking thru loose change for specific years we need to add to our collections. I was really proud of it and couldn't help feeling disappointed when he didn't say anything about it until I asked him if he got it.

Tools- I made this for my hubby. It took a lot of work to add the different colors of paper behind each tool because they were so close together on the black which is a negative Cricut cut.

Tools- Then there is this one with tools. I had to have hubby help with the holes. It was too much for my hands, wrist s and elbows to do on my own.

Corvette-Another guy card. This one was for hubby's bday 2020. Not the best coloring but I like the dry embossed background and banner.

October 2011
I like the folded circles.
I came across this card in April 2021

I love this different design
I also loved that I posted this and not a week later did Jennifer McGuire post a diagonal card. I was on trend actually, before the trend.
Card from April 2013
Found in April 2021

I love the colors
The heat-embossed background
The oval die-cut with the branch stamped inside.
Then the ribbon and twine down the center.
It’s different but better than the same old card design over and over again.
This card is from January 2015
I found it and added it here April 2021
