1963 All Green Pocket Pages Scrapbooking

I was typing up this blog post and it occurred to me that there is no date on this layout.
That won’t be a problem with all of the open space. Maybe I subconsciously left those areas blank.

The metal circles are by Stampin Up. Inside them are stickers by...darn it, I don’t remember. I threw the package away within the last week. I flip through my organizers daily. The organizers are separated by theme and they are the home to many sticker packs that I have been looking at for years. Now, do you think I can remember the brand? I will do a timed search to find them online. Timed search you ask? I set the timer on my phone and by the time that alarm goes off, I’m finished looking.
The patterned paper is by Recollections and old stuff by Provo Craft

On the center 4x6, I used these transparent die-cuts. The flower one is by Maya Road and the smaller flower is by American Crafts. I set an eyelet in the center. The bouquet on the right is from Jolee’s a company of EK Success.

This page is a 4x4 pockets equaling 9 squares. I had the one larger photo that even if I cut it down it wouldn’t fit. I boldly cut the pocket open with an Exacto knife to fit the photo in with all the other relevant pictures. I love the results and that it is hard to see the the alteration unless your looking.
I received the glasses patterned paper in a ATC swap, bottom right. Isn’t it the cutest and perfect for the time frame. Haha, pun intended. The Christmas paper, bottom left is by Martha Stewart.
All of the alphabet stamps are from Lawn Fawn.

Reindeer 2012

6 year anniversary giveaway can be found
HERE

Another layout to add to the Christmas card book. This is my aunt and her family in Utah with the aging parents in Michigan. So their Christmas card for 2012 was a little bigger then the average card but maybe it wasn't but it just feels like a lot with 6 photos on one card. I followed the sketch at
Sketch N Scrap
with some creative forgiveness because my layout it 8 1/2 x 11 and not 12x12. I didn't have the heart to cut the reindeer into two so I left a larger border on the photo then in the sketch. I think that paper is by Momenta, which is very old, the snowflake patterned paper is by Die Cuts with a View, the light blue paper is by CGull and then the white and light brown cardstock are by Recollections with the dark brown by Coredinations.

I die cut the 2012 out with my Cricut and I layered it on top of a scrap of light brown paper and blue paper. The smallest snowflakes is a punch by Marvy, middle size is a punch by Creative Memories, and the largest is a die by Simon Says Stamp. The enamel dots are from my friend Ashly. She makes them isn't that cool. We swapped dots for sequins one time. I love how nice the crafting community is.

Sailing Away Card

Hey there. My new card today is wishing for summer to come quicker then it is. But anyway, I think this card may be good for graduation or retirement although I will probably use it for another birthday or maybe anniversary card. Those are in high demand over here. I'll leave it blank until it's needed.

I stamped the Inkadinkado anchor stamp onto Ranger's watercolor cardstock with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with platinum embossing powder (also by Ranger). I die cut the image out with a Sizzix die and heavily inked the inside of the image with distress ink while it was still in the die. Then I sprayed the image with water and let it sit to dry.

The scalloped oval and banner were cut out using the Cricut and Bazzill cardstock. I used Lawn Fawn Harold alphabet stamps to stamp my greeting with Hero Arts charcoal shadow ink. The patterned paper is by Quick Quotes and it is cut a little bit smaller than the Recollections card base. The grey cardstock is by Momenta with the border die by Spellbinders. he cording by The Beadery and I had to use foam adhesive on the image because the cording is so thick.

Sassy Studio Designs Love

I thought I would put all my Sassy Studio Designs cards in one post for you to see. For each of the cards I printed the digi out onto Cryogen cardstock and colored the image in with Copic markers. Then I die cut them out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with Ranger's distress ink.

This first card is for the Thursday challenge Valentine's Day. I used patterned paper by Little Yellow Bicycle, heart sticker by Making Memories and sentiment by Momenta.

My second card is for Flashback Friday. The love sticker and red patterned paper are by My Mind's Eye. The blue patterned paper is by Deja Views and the cardstock are by Colorbok and Recollections. I added a Want 2 Scrap rhinestone border onto the image and also a Studio G vellum sentiment to the top.

Then my last card is for the Sassy Facebook group challenge. Each month they give you a free image and you have to use it and post it before the 26th of each month. My card base is made out of a Spellbinders die and Recollections pink cardstock. The rest of the card: the ribbons are by Recollections and Heidi Swapp for Fiskars and stickers by Sticko a division of EK Success.

Tie the Knot

I have a wedding card to share today. It's a little different because I stamped the cake on this fabric paper that my mom found at a craft sale. No name to it but it certainly took the Hero Arts ink beautifully. The topper is stamped on Neenah Solar white cardstock as well as the sentiment. All stamps are by American Crafts. The patterned paper is white with a silver pattern by Making Memories. The blue scallop circle die is an embossed cardstock by Momenta and the vellum on top is by The Paper Company. The die cuts are by Spellbinders, black cardstock by Recollections, pearls by Want 2 Scrap and heart button from my stash.

Christmas Cards all year Round Mid Month

Welcome to my mid month post for Christmas Cards All year Round. The theme this month is Stockings. My beautiful Stocking stamp by Deep Red Stamps and can be found at A Cherry on Top.

I heat embossed the stocking on Strathmore watercolor paper and then proceeded to color it ink with distress ink and distress markers with a water pen which are all by Ranger Industries. I truly love how this one turned out. Beautiful bright colors, a little bit of shading and nice blending make me a happy crafter. I fussy cut the image out and then added some glitter to the white part of the candy canes. The stocking was then adhered onto a Spellbinders die cut.

For the rest of my card I used Crate Papers patterned paper and a Momenta sticker sentiment. The brad is by Creative Imaginations and the ribbon is from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by.

Save Santa a trip

The Christmas season is well on its way and I have a beautiful Christmas card using a Stamp N Plus stamp. The tree stamp is one of the many iris folding stamps that Stamp N Plus carries. If you are interested in purchasing this tree stamp please call Luann at 715-271-1873.

I stamped the tree onto cream cardstock and proceeded to cut out the center. Then using a light patterned paper from my local scrapbook store I used the stamp guide to fold the paper and create the iris look. I matted the image on Making Memories patterned paper and placed two little Jolee's present stickers under the tree. The sentiment is a sticker by Momenta and I positioned it on a Spellbinders die that is popped up with foam adhesive. The patterned paper of the die is by Recollections.

Then once the card was all set up I sprayed it with Stardust powdered chalk mixed with water. You can see a little bit of the sparkle on the close up view.

Christmas Cards all Year Round

There's a new challenge at Christmas Cards all year Round for the month of December. The theme this month is Christmas Stockings. I have a few cards to share with you as Design team member of the CCAYR blog.

First I made a card using a Deep Red Stamp stocking stamp. I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder and then colored it in with distress markers, distress ink and a water pen. I love the way it turned out with the shading and a various colors. The red patterned paper is from my LSS and therefore I don't know the manufacturer. The aqua patterned paper is by Recollections and I dry embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder and then inked the edges with Ranger distress ink and an ink blender. The Spellbinders die cut is also inked with distress ink and sprayed with Ranger's Perfect Pearls and water. The brads are by American Crafts and the sentiment sticker is by Little Yellow Bicycle.

My second card uses a die cut cut out of my Cricut and positioned on a few Spellbinders dies. The background is embossed with a Stampin Up embossing folders and then matted onto a dark green cardstock by Making Memories. The strip of patterned paper in the middle is by Hot off the Press. The sentiment sticker is comprised of a two manufacturers; Momenta and Sticko.

I used the same houndstooth paper in both cards. It's hard to tell since the cards are so different from one another.

Thanks for looking.

The flourish was cut out using my Cricut and the card base is by The Paper Studio.

Birthday Wishes

Today's card is a longer rectangle then I usually do but it must have been OK because my Mom snatched it up when she came over for birthday cards. I have a bunch of odd shaped envelopes that need to be used so you may see more of these odd sized cards-well odd for me. I usually do the standard size cards that Michael's sells which is 4x5.5. They run them on sale twice a year for 3 packs of 25 for $5. I load up when they run that special.

Anyway, The background stamp is by Deep Red Stamps and can be found HERE. I used Stampin Up ink to stamp the stamp and then used Ranger Distress inks on the edges. I applied three different colors to get this look. I sprayed that whole piece with water and Perfect Pearls and let it dry.

I adhered the background piece to Provo Craft cream colored cardstock and then to the card base which is Bazzill. The flowers are by Oriental trading Co, Making Memories and Petaloo. The brads are by Close to my Heart and the center of the white flower is by Forever in Time. The brown ribbon is by Stampin Up and the polka dot ribbon is by American Crafts. Last but not least the word stickers are by Momenta.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card.
