A Precious Gift Linus

Linus from the Peanuts gang is a stamp I've had forever. It is by All Night Media and I stamped him on Neenah Solar White cardstock so I could color him in with Copic markers. I looked up the image online and there was a picture of him in the exact pose so I could accurately color him in with the right colors. Once he was colored I die cut him out with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink. The patterned paper is by Sunborn and the blue cardstock is by Recollections. The ribbon is by Stampin Up, the sentiment stamp is by Cloud 9 and the ink by Hero Arts.

Lawn Fawn Hugs

For my card today I used Lawn Fawn stamps and matching dies as well as the sentiment die. I stamped the doughnut and coffee cup onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers. Then I die cut the images out with my Cuttlebug including the steam stamp and the sentiment. I added tiny little beads to the top of the doughnut to look like doughnut decoration by adhering them on with Glossy Accents from Ranger. I used my Cricut to cut out the square behind the images. I used the cartridge Storybook with some Bazzill and Provo Craft cardstock. The patterned paper is by Cosmo Cricket.

**And don't forget about the birthday giveaway. It ends November 29th at noon EST.**

Thansk for looking.

SSD FBF Pochantus

This month at Sassy Studio Designs I am on the Facebook group. Join our closed group of Sassy followers and receive a free image like the one below. This image will be available on Friday, November 13th for 24 hours only.

I printed this image onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored her in with Copic Markers and Stampin Up colored pencils. I cut her down and matted her on a burnt orange cardstock. The wooden feather is by Maya Road and the real feathers are from Meijer. I feel bad because I don't know the patterned paper or the border punch or the compass or the orange floss manufacturer. I hope you still like my card.

I printed this digi out onto Cryogen cardstock and colored her in with Copic markers and colored pencils. I really like the way she turned out. The patterned paper is by Crate Paper and the yellow and brown circle cardstocks are scraps from my stash. I did cut the circle out using the Cricut and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. The jute is by Tim Holtz and I secured it in the middle with a brown brad. The sentiment stamp is by Stampabilities that I stamped with brown Colorbox pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder by Stamp N Plus.

Sassy Studio Designs Color Challenge

Sassy Studio Designs has a new challenge for their Thursday blog and it is black and either orange, green, or purple or all of the above. I went with black and purple although there is orange is the patterned paper.

I printed the image out onto Neenah cardstok and colored her in with Copic markers. I trimmed the image down and matted some black cardstock behind her. I die cut the fence with the Cricut and the Ribbons and Rosettes  cartridge with purple Bazzill cardstock. The background of the card base was stamped with a Stampabilities stamp with Hero Arts black ink. Then I drew lines from the spider to the web. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and has been heat embossed with Versa Mark ink and white embossing powder.

Sassy Studio Designs Halloween with Wednesday Sassy

Hi-dee-ho! I'm posting my design team card for Sassy Studio Designs. The theme this week is pick three in a row. I chose the center strip of goodies: Spider/Spider webs, Pumpkin, and Candy.

I've used the Wednesday Sassy as my image and even though you can't buy her in the store I have even better news; she will be free on October 30th for 24 hours on the Sassy Studio Designs Facebook group. It is so worth joining in this closed group of crafters because you can now get a free image each week and also a free monthly image. I'll tell you a secret, on the 30th they will have two images for free so join now.

I printed her out onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored her in with Copic markers. I fussy cut her out but she has something in her hand that I didn't care for it. Sometimes placement is everything. I created the background with a circle Post It note that I punched out and inked the paper with distress inks yellow, orange, and purple. I followed her coloring because her bikers are yellow, her dress is orange and there is purple highlights in her hair.

I used the tutorial called Burst Through on Splitcoast Stampers by Dina Kowal. I thought it was perfect for this image. The patterned paper on the top is by K and Co. The candy stamp on the bottom is by Fiskars and colored in with Copic markers. The pumpkin is by Inkadinkado and I inked it with Colorbox pigment inks and fussy cut it out. The sentiment was part of a prize so I don't know who it is by but I coated the edges with some distress Stickles. I did add some Stickles to the image too on her buttons and bows in her hair. This card is a 5 x 6.5 which is bigger then I usually make but I printed the image out bigger than usual to get some better coloring in.

Teddy Bear in Yellow

I noticed recently that my baby card selection needed some sprucing up and decided to make some with this newly found teddy bear stamp. This stamp is an old one by Stampin Up and I stamped him with Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock so I could color him in with Copic Markers. Once he was colored I die cut him out with a Design Objectives die. Then I die cut a Spellbinders scallop square out of kraft cardstock by Oriental Trading Co and yellow fun foam that I found at Dollar General.

The patterned paper is by American Traditional Design Co {yellow} and the other by Bo Bunny. The ribbon is from my MIL's stash. The sentiment by Sweet Stamps LLC was stamped onto white cardstock with Stampin Up ink.. Then I assembled to the card to this:

Sweet Baby Card

I won this cute little stamp set by Close to me Heart from a challenge on Scrapbook.com. I stamped the images onto Neenah Solar white cardstock and colored them in with Copic Markers. I used an EK Success circle punch to punch out the images and then a CM punch to punch out the yellow cardstock {Bazzill} behind them. The patterned paper are by Imaginisce and I can't remember the other one. The sentiment sticker is by K and Co.

Yellow and Green Flower Cards

I'm not feeling very cre8ive lately and have resorted to using sketches and challenges to get me going. These cards were made using a Scrapbook.com sketch. {see below}

The flower stamp in my card is by Inkadinakado and the circle stamp is by Colorbok. I stamped the flower with Memento black ink and the circle with Close to my Heart green ink and colored the flower in with Copic markers. I cut the circle out with my Creative Memories Cutting System. The circle mat behind the image is a Spellbinders die that I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist color Mustard Seed. The top patterned paper is by Cosmo Cricket and the bottom by Hampton Arts. The pennants are made with Bazzill yellow cardstock, Neenah Solar White cardstock and patterned paper by Provo Craft. The glitter paper is by Recollections and the ribbon is by Martha Stewart. I did pop the image up with a circle of yellow fun foam for dimension.

This one is mostly the same  except the mat circle paper is by Making Memories, the paper on the top is by Studio Calico and the paper on the bottom is by Provo Craft.

If you like Pina Colada.....

I'm posting for the design team at Sassy Studio Designs. This month on the Facebook Sassy group the freebie is called Pina Colada. I printed the image out onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers. I die cut the image with a Spellbinders die and inked the inside with distress ink. I felt the bathing suit would be awesome with some Stickles by Ranger. Who doesn't love a sparkly bathing suit? The patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is cut out from my Cricut and the Life's a Beach cartridge. The patterned paper for the sentiment is unknown. The ribbon is by Webster's and the pearls by Forever in Time.

Happy Birthday Tree Branch

I have a birthday card to share today. The background stamp and tree branch stamps are by Hero Arts. The background is stamped in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with white Stampendous embossing powder. The tree is stamped in Stampin Up brown and colored in with Distress Markers by Ranger. The sentiment is by Just Rite in the same brown ink as the tree branch.

The green ribbon is from my mom's stash, so no manufacturer but the orange baker's twine is by Jillibean Soup. The blue cardstock and white card base are by Recollections and the white strip for the sentiment is Neenah Solar White. After I colored the tree branch I die cut it out with a Spellbinders scalloped oval die.

That's all for today. Thanks for looking.

Tie the Knot

I have a wedding card to share today. It's a little different because I stamped the cake on this fabric paper that my mom found at a craft sale. No name to it but it certainly took the Hero Arts ink beautifully. The topper is stamped on Neenah Solar white cardstock as well as the sentiment. All stamps are by American Crafts. The patterned paper is white with a silver pattern by Making Memories. The blue scallop circle die is an embossed cardstock by Momenta and the vellum on top is by The Paper Company. The die cuts are by Spellbinders, black cardstock by Recollections, pearls by Want 2 Scrap and heart button from my stash.

Card base by K and Co
White cardstock by Neenah Solar white
Sentiment sticker by Pebbles
Patterned paper by Stampin Up

Manly Monday Border of Tools

Welcome back to Manly Monday. After my card, I have a larger selection of cards to share with you this week.

I made my card using stamps by Hero Arts. The tools stamp uses Memento ink and then colored with Copics. I'm not the best colorer, especially with small images like this but they say practice makes perfect. It turned out so cute that I had to share even if I didn't totally stay in the lines. Idk who the patterned paper is by-sorry but the Copic paper is called Cryogen, the black cardstock is by Recollections and the white cardstock is by Neenah Solar white. I did heat emboss the sentiment with black embossing powder by myStamp Box. (Updated 12-13-22 photo size and placement, font)

There are many Masculine/Male/Dad/Father's Day-type challenges out this past week. I'm entering quite a few of them, which you can see at the bottom of this post. The challenges I usually link up to are NOT SIR or ones that you can only link to so many other challenges. I understand putting a limit on the number of entries a person can link up but I don't understand the limit on {C10 and such} other challenges you can enter. You would think they, challenge blogs, would want the exposure. But hey what do I know. They must have their reasons.

myStamp Box Valentine's card

For today's card I used the Mini Alpha small Box stamp set by myStamp Box to create my sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment with red SU ink onto Neenah solar white cardstock and added a Mrs Grossman sentiment sticker underneath it. The rest of my card is made up of plaid patterned paper by Provo craft (very old) and the polka dot paper is by Daisy Bucket Designs. The flourish is a Cricut die cut. The hearts at the bottom are dry embossed snippets from a Darice embossing folder that I circle punched out, inked with distress ink and sprayed with Perfect Pearls to make them sparkle.
